“Ahhh!” Ethlyn smiled because she was ready for this question. “Rose, baby!! Only the relationship between parents and pups is the one in which they fall in love with each instantly or at first sight. Other people take some time to fall in love.”

“I won’t lie to you, but the truth is that I don’t know the answer to this question, sweetheart,” Ethlyn said without giving any false hope to her daughter.
“Okay, I will ask grandma. After all, she is already in love with Grandpa.” Roselet said innocently.

On the other side,
“Hahahhaha!!! Hahahhaha!!!” Calvin was laughing at his father’s state because his mother had just threatened his father to divorce him for the second time.
“Shut up!” Brandon growled at Calvin and held Sophia’s hand to calm her down. “Mon Amour.”
“No, Hunter. Enough is enough. I want my daughter, my Lee, now. Because of your anger and your punishment, I placed a stone on my heart and didn’t keep any contact with her but not anymore.” Sophia said, taking her hand out of his hand.
Once the topic of Calvin and Ethlyn had been ended after Calvin walked out of the penthouse. Sophia couldn’t control herself from asking about Liara to know how she was now from Ethlyn’s parents casually, health-wise, not telling them about the family issue, and that was when Abigail informed her, ‘Doctor Liara is taking precautions and the extreme care of herself because of early days of pregnancy. I was there because of Ethlyn’s operation when she found out that she was pregnant, and since that day, her mate has had to make sure that she doesn’t stay in the hospital for longer. In fact, she used to come to the hospital only when she was asked to.’
Hearing this, Sophia lost control of herself.
“I respected your anger first, but now a mother inside me is ready to kick your ass if you will stop me from meeting my daughter. Hell, I couldn’t sit silently after knowing that my pup is pregnant, and I didn’t check on her, not even once, and will die in regret.” Sophia said. “On the top, when I can forgive you for killing my father, then why can’t I forgive my princess?”
“Talking about Liara?” Colton entered the Alpha’s office.
“And also about divorce.” Calvin joked.
“Divorce reminded me who the woman in the penthouse is. She proposed to me for the marriage.” Colton said with a frown. Hearing this, Calvin stopped laughing, and a deep frown appeared on his face. Brandon cleared Colton’s confusion by telling him everything.
“Just because she is ready. That doesn’t mean I’m ready too.” Calvin said.
“It’s not hard, too, to convince you. Tell us the price.” Colton said, knowing his little brother very well. “Or I guess I already know the price, to keep a condition in front of dad to accept Liara and her mate,”
Colton said, knowing very well how far his brother could think.
“Is Colton right, Calvin?” Brandon asked.
“Can your smartest pup among all ever be wrong?” Calvin asked him, shrugging his shoulder. He had to return his sister to her whole family before the birth of her birth so that his future niece or nephew wouldn’t be derived from the love of his/her family members from his/her mother’s side. “But I need something from my smart brother as well.” Saying this, Calvin smirked.
“Nooooo” Colton shook his head when he realized what Calvin wanted. “I don’t want a mate. I have already decided that she will be with you.”
“It’s not that bad, you know, but you see, my princess wants her real mommy, so even if I want to, I can’t be with a woman with whom I’m destined to. Because now I might have to marry a rejected Luna.” He joked. Little did he know that Ethlyn was listening to everything because he butt-dialed Roselet’s number, and at that moment, Roselet’s phone was in Ethlyn’s hand, checking the photos and video of Roselet of that day in the mountain again.
She didn’t want to receive his call, but Roselet was in the washroom, and she asked Ethlyn to pick up the phone and ask him the reason for the call at this moment.
‘Falling in love with this man? My foot.’ Ethlyn thought, disconnecting the call.

“Hey,” Zordan peeped into Calvin’s office to check on him. All of a sudden, his head was smacked with a Glass paperweight. “Ouucchh!!” and his head started bleeding.
“Bastard, you ditched my side the moment your mate walked into your life.” Calvin hissed. “I know you’re the reason because of which Ethlyn’s parents got my mom’s number, and because of which, mom and dad are here.”
“I was thinking in Rose’s favor. She needs a mom, mate. And I know your thought about Ethlyn is not so good, but I feel that she is innocent and isn’t the kind of woman you think about her.” Zordan spoke after his injury got healed, placing the paperweight on the table.
Calvin rolled his eyes. “There is something that you should know about her.” He paused before continuing, “Reva’s father told me how her life was turned upside down when the gender of the pup was going to reveal, and also Reva confirmed it.”
With this, Zordan told Calvin everything that happened with Ethlyn, how she landed in Coma and how this incident caused the death of one pup, and another was almost dead, but thanks to Moon Goddess, Roselet survived.
“When I came to know about all these things, I couldn’t help but pity Ethlyn. Also, you must have her cries when you were taking Rose, but I saw everything with my own eyes. I bet your reaction and your desperation for Rose wouldn’t be any less than her.”
