The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

Roselet didn’t want this engagement to happen, nor she wanted her mommy to accept Alpha Nathan as her mate again, but she had no idea what she should do at the last moment to stop this. The previous conversation with Ethlyn about marrying her daddy didn’t go well. When Reva was giving the tour of the house and showed the rings to her to change her mood. An idea came to her mind.

‘How about if I would hide these rings? Then this engagement couldn’t happen, right?’

With this thought, she grabbed both the rings diverting Reva’s attention and hid them in another room; when Reva gave her a tour of other rooms of her house.

Little did she know that this work of hers was going to get her into big trouble.

She had just thought that everyone would spend their time in search of the rings but never did the idea come across her mind that she would be caught that easily because she didn’t know that no one went in that room except Reva and her.

And the last thing was whenever she used to make any mistakes or any naughty things; her daddy used to ask her calmly and talk about it. Never did he start blaming or scolding or started hitting her. She got scared when Abigail grabbed her arms in anger tightly and started shouting at her. She tried to remove her grip from her arms, but it was too powerful for her, and the worst was she felt Abigail digging her nails into her flesh.

All these things that happened scared her to the extent that she couldn’t stop her tears. She was surrounded by so many people, but all she wanted was her daddy.

More tears flowed out of her eyes when she was called a thief. She wanted to shout that ‘she wasn’t a thief.’

While Zordan and his friends were taken aback when Roselet admitted that she hid the rings, obviously, they knew that their princess couldn’t steal rings. Hell, all Roselet used to steal was chocolates and sweet things when Calvin used to forbid her from eating a lot of sweets. All they were waiting for her to speak more and state the reason for doing so, In that way, Roselet could come out of this allegation clean, but she was crying badly.

No one had an idea that what was going on in her little mind. Zordan somehow assumed that Roselet didn’t want this engagement to happen as she wasn’t happy with this news from the beginning but why? And that was when his wolf sensed his Alpha.

‘Oh no!! Alpha will be so pissed.’ He thought and tried to calm down Roselet, but it wasn’t working. In the Next moment, the face of the other four paled as well when they sensed Calvin. They then looked toward Nathan, who looked lost, which was an indication that he was mind-linking. It meant even he knew that their Alpha was here.

On the other side, Calvin was excited to meet his love. It had been more than forty-eight hours without watching her for real. He didn’t want to miss her smile and the twinkle in her eyes after finding him at the party. When he reached the pack, John, the Beta of the pack, escorted him to the guest house because Calvin had reached his wolf form with a bag between his teeth, and he just couldn’t reach any function naked. He quickly got ready and asked John to take him to the venue.

There was a time when he used to take hours to get ready like a girl, but Roselet’s presence taught him to get ready in a few minutes or complete his personal business in a few minutes because when she was young, whenever Calvin used to enter in the washroom after leaving Roselet sleeping on the bed. She used to wake quickly and start crying, not even letting Calvin wipe his bum peacefully. He used to come running out of the washroom to make her sleep again. All of a sudden, Calvin’s ear rose when he heard Roselet’s cries. All his excitement disappeared from his face, and he started running instead of walking, shocking Beta John as well, who quickly informed Alpha Nathan about it so that Nathan would have an idea that another Alpha was approaching, running like a maniac.

‘Don’t go on her innocent face, Ethlyn. You were right yesterday; she is indeed a thief.’ He heard a woman, whom he recognized as Ethlyn’s mother because of uncanny similarities between them, speaking, and then he saw that she was calling his love a thief while Roselet was crying bitterly.

“HOW DARE YOU?” Calvin roared in anger. He was damn so furious that moment no one could stop him from killing Abigail. He ran toward her and jumped on her, shifting into a wolf; Zordan and Nathan were quick to act, realizing what was going to happen next. They shifted quickly; while Nathan covered Abigail, Zordan jumped on Calvin, taking the first hit by Calvin’s wolf paw on him.

Both Zordan and Calvin both fall on the floor and start growling each there.

‘Why did you come in between?’

‘Alpha, you just can kill anyone in front of Rose. She is too young to see any murder.’ Zordan tried to calm him down, but he knew that it wasn’t Calvin who was speaking but Roselet’s daddy wolf.

‘That witch called my pup a thief. I won’t leave her alive.’ Keanu growled in anger.

Everyone screamed and ran away from there, not wanting to become the food of the red werewolf which Calvin was. It was said that red werewolves weren’t someone with whom one should mess because they were short-tempered among all the werewolves, and the angrier they get, the more powerful they become.

Keanu tried to attack Abigail again, but Zordan took the attack on himself again.

‘Leave my way, Max.’ He ordered, using his Alpha tone, which was hard for Zordan’s wolf to disobey.

“Rose, only you can calm down the Alpha,” Lemieux said to Roselet when he sensed Calvin release his Alpha Aura.

Keanu was not ready to calm down or listen to anyone until Roselet came running close to him and hugged his forepaw before he would have used it to attack Zordan again for disobeying him and not leaving the path that was leading him to Abigail.
