“I’m not hundred percent sure, Reva, but there is a chance that you’re going to meet your mate, and with each passing moment, this feeling will start growing, not until you finally meet him for real.”

“My mate?” Reva smiled, placing her plate aside. “He is coming here? In search of me?” She asked in excitement. “Moon Goddess! I hope this comes to be true. Is… is someone arriving in the pack in search of his mate or some pack meeting?”

“Umm… yeah!! Nathan told me that someone was coming in search of his mate. So, maybe he will be your mate, or someone accompanying him can be your mate.” Ethlyn said, on which Reva howled in joy, waking everyone.

“What happened, Princess?” Christian asked after listening to Reva’s howl, which sounded like she was excited and happy.

“What is the good news? Did Nathan ask Ethlyn for marriage again?” Abigail asked.

“Mom, Did you buy me from the market? Sometimes it’s about me as well.” Reva reminded her, frowning. “Anyways, I guess I’m going to meet my mate. For the past two years, I wasn’t attending the mating ball because I didn’t want to find my mate and settle with him; at that time, my family was my first priority, but now… now it looks like its the time.” She added and started dancing.

“Finally, my biggest tension will be gone,” Christian teased and joined her in her dance.

“Dadddddd” Reva whined

“Awww!! I love you.” He said, hugging her. At the same time, they were busy enjoying this moment. Ethlyn was scared of negative thoughts that she had inbuilt into her mind, while Abigail hoped her daughter to be blessed with an Alpha mate.

‘Mommy, we are going to meet soon.’ Roselet thought in her mind, looking at the big mountain in front of her. Zordan informed her that her mommy’s pack was on the top of the mountain.

“Ready for trekking?” Zordan teased her.

“I’m a baby. You will carry me, Uncle Zordy.” She pouted, looking at the height.

“Ahh! Now, you have become a baby? Huh!” he asked. “Come here!!” he said and lifted her in his arms.

“Why are you not shifting? In that way, we can reach there faster than this trekking.” Roselet asked.

“Because you have a habit of sitting on wolf in the plain ground. You might fall down from my back when I will run toward up, and that is the last thing I want. That’s why we will trek.” He replied, looking at the four best warriors of the pack. “And you can sleep in my arms if possible, okay?”

“No. I will stay awake. I have to meet her.” She said in an excited tone. It was a journey of around six to seven hours of walking, or three to four hours by climbing straight on the mountain. Zordan cursed mentally for the non-availability of the car in that area, but then they all got habitual to the human technologies by staying near the city.

After a few hours, Roselet started snoring softly.

“And someone was saying that she will stay awake.” Lemieux joked softly. He was her personal bodyguard who had no other work than looking after Roselet. Zordan smiled, looking at Roselet. To be honest, he was more excited to reach up as soon as possible because of his wolf, who was restless as well as excited.

Last night, Reva couldn’t sleep a wink, not because she didn’t want to but because the fact that finally meeting her mate couldn’t let her sleep. ‘Moon Goddess, I always wanted like dad. Please consider my prayer.’ She prayed. Just like Ethlyn had told her, with each passing minute, her restlessness and excitement were increasing. She couldn’t help herself and sneaked out of her house to reach the pack border and thought to wait for him there by patrolling the border with other warriors even though her duty wasn’t aligned to do.

Finally, after waiting for hours, she smelt the mouthwatering scent, signaling that her mate was near. She was on edge to see him, a part of her wanted to run out and meet him quickly, but somehow, she held her wolf, who was letting her sit quietly. She already sensed that they were six people, out of which one smelt different, a girly one.

‘Why the hell are they all walking instead of running in wolf form?’ She wondered in irritation. After half an hour, her eyes landed on the person for whom she had been waiting for a long, and she was taken aback to see a girl of four-five years in his arms.

‘MATE’ Her wolf howled in joy. She didn’t miss the surprised look on her mate’s well, as if he wasn’t expecting her here.

‘Wasn’t he here in searching for his mate?’ She thought and looked at the girl in his arms. ‘Don’t tell me that she is her adopted daddy or something because she doesn’t smell like him for sure. What if he already chose someone as his mate, and this girl is the pup of his chosen mate from someone else?’ A lot of questions started going on in her mind looking at them.

“Hello, I’m John Reeves, Beta of Wind Winder Pack.” The young introduced himself. “Alpha Nathan asked me to attend to you all and take you to the guest house of the pack.”

“Hello, I’m Zordan Collin, Beta of Blood Moon Pack,” Zordan responded, not removing from Reva. It was a fake plan to come here, to this pack, in search of his mate, but he really found her mate here. He was surprised and shocked at this fact.
