“Well, they can give birth to a maximum of twenty-four pups once at a time.” Calvin teased her a little more.

“Youuuu” Ethlyn glared at him and hit him hard this time. But soon she started crying. Calvin opened his arms and hugged her.

“It’s okay. It’s okay.” He whispered in her ear, understanding clearly what was making her worried. He couldn’t feel the pain of losing one pup as much as Ethlyn could. So, she didn’t want any of her pups to happen anything. “We can’t lose our heads right now, okay?”

“That’s the worst case. Let’s not stress much because that’s not allowed for you. Also, all this is the moon goddess’s plan because none of us had guessed that this could have happened. So, I’m positive that if we take all the precautions properly, then nothing will happen to our pup.” Calvin said, caressing her back, helping her in calming down.

“It’s good news. Let’s not spoil it by thinking over unnecessary things. Because the future is set in stone.” Calvin said.

“Hmm!! I’m sorry.” Ethlyn mumbled and wiped tears and a running nose both in Calvin’s t-shirt. “Umm… sorry for that.” She said, giving him a guilty look.

“It’s okay. It’s better than vomiting on me.” Calvin said, wiping her tears. “To be honest, I don’t feel disgusted with all these things because I have raised Rose. Calvin looked at his parents, who shook their heads. It meant that they didn’t say anything to her. She was assuming everything on her own.

“Calvin, I’m going to be a big sister, ain’t I?” She asked again and reached near Ethlyn. “Here is my baby brother or sister.” She asked, touching Ethlyn’s stomach, but at the wrong place. She had kept her hand on the upper part of the stomach.

“Yeeeeee!!!” Roselet jumped in excitement. “Thank you, Mommy and daddy, for making me a big sister.”

“Here. This is the picture of your sisters or brothers.” Saying this, Calvin gave her the ultrasound pictures first to her. She quickly grabbed it to see the picture, but it wasn’t like the normal picture that she had seen until now.

“Brothers and sisters?” Brandon first noticed that ‘S’ in both words. He gave a wide smile to Sophia and hugged her. “Twins again.”

“Twins? But how. I don’t see any pup here.” Roselet said in confusion.

“Wait!! Let me help you.” Sophia said to show Roselet where her siblings are in the picture. “Here, this pea-size ball is your brother or sister.” She said and observed all those pictures carefully. Her eyes widened when she counted the number of pups.

“No way!!” She muttered, looking at Calvin and Ethlyn in shock.

“What happened?” Brandon looked at those pictures in tension, wondering why Sophia acted like that. Even his eye’s widened when after a while.

“Really?” Brandon asked, to which Calvin laughed and nodded his head. Brandon reached near him within a second and picked him up like he was a child.

“Dadddd…”

“I’m so proud of you. Only if your mother wouldn’t have been a human, I would have made her pregnant every year.” Brandon said, patting his back, on which Calvin laughed while Sophia sneered and hugged Ethlyn and congratulated her again.

“I don’t get it,” Roselet whined. “Why are there five… no six peas in mommy’s womb? And why are they so small?” She asked.

Sophia laughed and cupped her face, “That’s because you are going to have six younger siblings and all pups are of pea size in the beginning, even you were.” She replied.

Roselet’s eyes widened in shock, and she didn’t speak anything for a while, “What happened? Aren’t you happy?”

“Grandma, how will I handle them?” She asked in worry, as if she was going to raise those pups. “I can look after one or two at one time.” Everyone laughed at her innocent words.
