‘Moon Goddess!! I should have renamed Alpha Calvin’s name.’ She mentally thought.

“Pick it up. I’m sure your dad has something important to speak.” Brandon said, thinking it was Christian Smith’s call. They had earlier decided to keep the phone away and enjoy each other’s company rather than giving priority to the phone. Hearing it, Ethlyn started coughing.

“Ac… Actually, Uncle, It was Rose’s phone. She didn’t need it now, so she gave it to me. That’s why the ‘Daddy’ here is Alpha Calvin.” She muttered, feeling embarrassed. “May I?” She asked before receiving it.

“Oh! Finally, he remembered that he had a date tonight.” Brandon muttered, not really pleased with his son’s behavior. “Don’t receive it. I want to see something.” He added on, which Ethlyn didn’t argue.

“You know this ‘Daddy’ name reminded me of something. When Calvin was of Rose’s age, even smaller than Rose, he had saved my number in Sophia’s phone with ‘Daddy’ name, and one of her office staff assumed that Sophia had some sugar daddy.”

“What?” Ethlyn’s eyes widened in shock while Brandon nodded his head with a smile and observed how Calvin called her twice without wasting time. It made Brandon realize that his son was desperate to talk with Ethlyn.

“Ah! Now I have a plan, Ethlyn.” Brandon said and explained everything to her in short when her phone stopped ringing after a second full ring. Her phone started ringing for the third time, on which Brandon’s signaled her to receive the call and heard everything that Calvin told about him, unknowingly, while Ethlyn tried to control her laughter during the call.

They both started waiting for his arrival, and the moment, Ethlyn sensed Calvin, she couldn’t control her big smile, thinking about the things that were going to happen next. For a second, she was scared, thinking that Calvin might end up hurting his own father in this prank. But thankfully, Brandon was quick to stop Calvin.

“Hello, son!!” Brandon said with a smirk on his lips while Calvin’s face paled, finding his father with Ethlyn.

“Dadddddd,”

“What did you say before, ‘I swore once I would be there, I will beat the shit out of the man who dared to ask you out.’ huh?” Brandon questioned, to which Calvin shook his head. There was no way he could do that. “And Keanu, you will bite my ass, huh?” Hearing this, Calvin’s wolf disappeared as soon as possible.

“What else he had said, Ethlyn?”

Ethlyn grinned before speaking, “If he dares touch you, then he will regret the day on which he was born.” Calvin glared at her for all this misunderstanding.

“I will regret the day I was born?” Brandon asked.

“No!! No…No, dad” Calvin kept shaking his head, and the next moment, Brandon twisted his hand. It wasn’t that he couldn’t fight, but he remained standing like an innocent kid that he was years back for Brandon. “Dadddd,” He cried when Brandon spanked his buttock.

“Daddd… I didn’t know it was you.” Calvin tried to justify his point when Brandon spanked him for the second time. “Ouch,” He hissed when Brandon twisted his wrist more tightly.

“That wants me to hit you more,” Brandon growled in anger. “You have no right to act in that way. First, when you weren’t there for her, and then you were getting mad at the person who was for her. I mean seriously, Calvin Logan Haysbert?” he asked, leaving Calvin’s wrist and letting him go.

“I…” Calvin thought over the words that Brandon said, and he realized that his father was right.

“There are many stupids out there who realize the importance of things or people after losing them, so don’t be one of them. I was lucky that your mother’s hand was so busy handling you two that she didn’t get time to fall in love again, but I can’t say that you will be lucky, just like me.”

Brandon said to which Calvin glared at Ethlyn, silently warning her that she wasn’t allowed to fall in love with someone else.

“Don’t give her that look to my daughter.” Brandon made him look toward him, into his eyes. “Or I will take your eyes out of your body.” Calvin’s eyes widened upon hearing this. He wondered what kind of magic Ethlyn did on his father in his absence.
