The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Feeling humiliated, Alexandra clenches her jaw tightly, She wonders how she didn't realize this was going to be a trap instigated by Olivia Guerrero.

Tears brimmed down Alexandra's cheeks as those memories captured her mind, sitting up, she grips the pillow tightly biting against her lower lips.

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth Olivia. I've let you off the hook a lot but that's it, I won't let you anymore. You will pay for all the evil deeds that you committed, just wait and see" she stands up, pacing around with a lot of things running through her mind.

Alexandra couldn't think of the best manner to get back at Olivia but all she knows is that she needed to set her plans in motion and Adams was included in that plan.

Walking towards the table, she plops down, taking a pen and note, she writes for a long moment, holds up the note, sand isses it.

Standing up, Alexandra walks out of her room, rushes down the stairs and into the living room,mand, bumpsinto Veronica.

"And where do you think you're going by this hour"

Startled, Alexandra blinks her eyes rather rapidly, trying to figure out the right words to say.

"What are you doing Here? Thought you went for a trip"

"I had to return to take some important documents but I will be off tomorrow" Veronica pauses. "Why am I explaining myself to you?"

"I wonder the same"

"What? Anyway, where did you think you were heading to?"

"How good are your eyes?" Alexandra whispers, trying to figure out a way out of this situation

"I beg your pardon" Veronica scoffs unbelievably "Are you saying that I'm speaking thoughtlessly?"

"Of course not but I'm saying that you should see more before you speak. How could you suggest that I was leaving the house when I was only heading to the kitchen"

"What?" Veronica chuckles, she could see right through her "Ha!" She yells causing Alexandra to jump

"You might want to keep your voice down, people might start to think we are losing control in here"

"What did you just say?"

"I will be in the kitchen if you need me" Alexandra states walking away into the kitchen, she pours a glass of water and gulps it down.

"How could that wench be hhere? She bites her lower lips "No I have to push my plans a little later, I can't do this until this witch finally leaves tomorrow" As Alexandra drowns in thoughts, Veronica barges inside.

"Make dinner for me, I'm starving"

Alexandra glances at her wristwatch. "Is almost midnight"

"And so? Is there an allotted time on when to have dinner"

"Don't you know that anything aeaten round after 10 pm is poison"

"I didn't come here for your lecture so make me the damn dinner"

"If I do that, I will be disobeying those who set those laws for us and I'm only caring about your health"

"Caring?"

"Yea. You love to drink wine a lot which isn't good for your health and now you demand that I serve you by midnight" "Is like you are asking for suicide but don't know how to say it" Alexandra gasps as a thought strikes through "Mom, perhaps, are you depressed? Is been the Luna that burdensome"

"Depressed?" Veronica chuckles, unbelievably "I'm a werewolf, a werewolf, how the hell will I get depressed"

"You also have emotions besides why can't you get depressed? There are lone wolves and Rogues"

"Rogues"

"Yes disobedient wolves who deliberately leave the pack, don't you think they were getting depressed and frustrated"

"Rogues turn into who they are because of their greed and stupidity, always questioning the Alpha's decision. They think they can manage on their own so they leave the pack"

"Wow!" Alexandra applauds "You are so smart, I nearly confused you for a scientist"

Veronica opens her mouth to say something when her stomach grumbles. "Did you hear that? That's the sound of hungry so make me some pasta"

Alexandra smiles, walking to the fridge, she begins to take out some ingredients while Veronica watches her like a hawk. Deep down she wasn't sure if she was the same girl she once knew or if she had changed as Olivia had said.

"I heard you are giving Olivia a hard time"

Hearing those words, Alexandra stiffens for a moment, puts the pasta into boiling water, covers the pot, and turns to Veronica.

"I heard different"

"What did you hear?"

"I heard she's been treated like a queen and king"

"Shut your mouth" Veronica walks closer, and pokes Alexandra on her forehead. "I don't know what game you're playing but if you hurt my daughter -"

"What will you do?" Alexandra grips her arm gently, a fake smile plastered on her face "Maybe the rumors are true seeing how yousay this all the time"

"What Ru...what rumors are you talking about?"

"People are doubting Olivia's capability as the Beta since she can't stand up for herself. She's always relying on mommy dearest to wipe her butt like a baby" "Alexandra!" Veronica glares

"I wasn't the one who said that, why are you staring at me like that? The rumors

are flying around so you can't even tell who started it"

"You did this" she breaks away and grabs Alexandra's jaw "If you hurt my daughter, I will cut you into pieces"

"Don't worry that will never happen" Alexandra chuckles, her face cold and unblinking

"Don't look at me that way" she whispers taking a step backward

"What way?"

"Change those eyes!" She yells

"Or else what? Weren't you bragging about cutting me into pieces"

Terrified, Veronica runs out of the kitchen into the Living room, Alexandra laughs, turning off the gas.

"And there goes the poor pasta" she throws the pasta away "Goodnight" she walks out, grinning
