The President Broken Angel

My trust and friendship

After some time Jhonia sat with mrs. Pinnock in the living room.

“Jhonia, This is the contract. It stood for five years. By then you and my son will be in love with each other. I will destroy this contract between both of you. You can read through it and sign it.” Mrs. Pinnock said, handing Jhonia the contract.

“Well, then I will read through it carefully. After signing it, I will return it to you.” Jhonia said to her as she puts the contract aside.

“If you don’t mind. Please read and sign it here then give it back to me, that would be splendid.” Mrs. Pinnock said, with a smile.

“I see. No problem.” Jhonia responded to her. Jhonia began with reading the contract. After some time she placed it down on the table before them.

“I see you have in place that he should not as I should not cheat on each other. I hope that your son will follow the rules of this contract. Your pen please!” Jhonia said, telling she hopes her son follows the rules as well, holding her hand out for the pen.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

“I will be sure to tell him about this specific rule. Here!” Mrs. Pinnock said, handing the pen to her.

“Hmm.” Jhonia responded, taking the pen and signed her name on the contract and hand the contract back to Mrs. Pinnock.

“I would like to familia myself with the house, if you do not mind?” Jhonia said, telling she wants a tour in other words asking as she gets up.

“Of course not, please show her to her room, let her shower and come to my room then guide her as she tours herself.” Mrs. Pinnock said to her and then told the maid who was standing behind the solo sofa waiting for orders, to show her to her room and show her around in other words.

“Yes. Mrs. Pinnock please, this way.” The maid responded, addressing her then she said, showing Jhonia to the staircase.

“Please, address me as Ms. Jhonia if that title is really needed. I’m sure Mrs. Pinnock herself wouldn’t want to be mistaken by me as her.” Jhonia said, turning around from the maid and looking at Mrs. Pinnock with a smile.

“Address her as she wishes, please proceed.” Mrs. Pinnock said, with a smile of approval of what Jhonia to the maid.

The maid nodded, and walked off as Jhonia followed. She forgot she had placed her parents journal on the table where she signed the contract. The moment the memory flashes back to her, Mrs. Pinnock was already reaching for the book. Suddenly a hand slammed down on the book out of her fingers..

“Please! Mrs. Pinnock, I do not intend to be rude so remember my request number 11. Do not! Touch my things, please!” Jhonia stated her please, and said to Mrs. Pinnock as she pulled the journal away from her hand reach, and raised up.

“It’s very important to me, as it is the only thing I have left of both my parents. As there must be something that you don’t let anyone touch because it belongs to your dear husband! So, this must be something that you understand well.” Jhonia said to her with sadness in her eyes and then it disappeared, Jhonia reminded her of something she holds dear.

“I understand! It won’t happen again, please go and then meet me in my room since it’s your first night. Also, there will be guests here early in the morning so you might not be able to go shopping.” Mrs. Pinnock said to her with a smile. That smile fades as she realizes that Jhonia was not even blinking, she quickly stood to her feet and explained herself..

“Oh no, please don’t take me wrong. See? I went shopping from the base of what your uncle told me. When I receive the call from another woman who also wants her daughter to get married. I placed them into my closet… I want you to come there to check if they fit.” Mrs. Pinnock quickly explained herself once again to have her understand.

“I see, then I will see you in a few.” Jhonia said, walking away from her and towards the stairs

“She is weird by chance. Someone created the word weird based on someone, that person is exactly like this. Ah.. Not my issue.” Jhonia said, talking to herself on Mrs. Pinnocks weirdness, as she continues up the stairs.

The maid waited for her and brought her to her room. She took her bath patiently as her bathroom was huge, withholding a shower and bathtub inside. After the shower she went to Mrs. Pinnock ‘s room.

“You are here? Come in. Please!” Mrs. Pinnock asks and tells her to enter, taking her arm and pulling her into her closet.

“This closet is as big as your bedroom, but why?” Jhonia said to her and then asked?

“Have you seen your closet? You will have to fill it with all different styles of clothing, from all deterrent kinds of designer clothes.” Mrs. Pinnock said, explaining to her as she giggles at Jhonia.

“Here! These are all the clothes, dresses, pants suits, and of course skirts. Also, these nightwear silks and brazers and panties.” Mrs. Pinnock said as he handed her a set of clothes and showed her the rest..

She happily hands out her clothing on the maid’s arms, she then picks out a dress and places it on Jhonia seeing if it fits. She didn’t seem to like the colour so, she tried another one and another. And went on for sometime.

“Okay, Mrs. Pinnock it’s getting late and I haven’t toured the house as yet! And you also said, we would have guests coming in the morning. Let me choose myself and check the rest of the house and take a rest.” Jhonia said addressing her explaining she is yet to take the tour and that she need rest because of the tomorrow coming guesses while she was smiling at Mrs. Pinnock.

“Right! Right, go on then. And please set up her clothes into her closet for her.” Mrs. Pinnock said to the maid telling them what they should do. They nodded and left first, Jhonia followed up with them shortly.

. I really thought I was going to not get along well with her, but she’s actually nice. Or maybe she’s acting for the good image of her son. If she’s not acting! Then she have gain 1.⅙% of my trust and friendship, Jhonia thoughts.

She went to her room and got dressed into a set of the nightwear, set and went to the bathroom for her parents’ journal. After some time the maid returned to take her around for the house tour, she began engaging the maid into a conversation.

“What is your name?” Jhonia asked?

“Crissian.” The maid responded.

“How long have you been working here, Crissian?” Jhonia asked? As she toured through the house.

“Ten years. Mrs Pinnock found me when I had just lost my mom, my dad remarried and I couldn’t continue school. She helps me with everything and offers me to go to school. I refuse because my dear mother wouldn’t be here to celebrate or be proud of me with me. So I choose to work.” Crissian responded to her question respectively with honesty, sharing her story briefly.

“I didn’t ask for all these details. But you have shared it with me so, I will also share mine with you. My parents died the night I turned eighteenth and then I decided to not finish school but do something else and now I’m here. This ten years relationship…”

“Yes. You spoke with Mr. Pinnock, while you were in school, he promised to wait for you like you have requested. I wish I was like your Ms. Jhonia, he waited all this time for you… ” Crissian continued to speak…

. What the hell? Ten years ago I was ten, what kind of lie is really going on here? He waited for me, while I was in school? But I can’t take it back now I have already signed the contract marriage paperwork. Shit, this story has to change. I will speak with Mrs. Pinnock before our guests come, in the morning. Jhonia thought.
