CHAPTER 59: The One Last Kiss

IT WAS A BIG confusion to Gianna why Lilian suddenly came back to life again. She used her black aura on her already! Her black aura is

her strongest weapon, it was a surprise that she's still alive until now.

And Alpha Karius was able to hurt her earlier and she thought that it was already enough to kill her! Gianna knew that Alpha Karius' demon is

one helluva dangerous creature. She knew that when he threw Lilian like she weighed earlier, she would be dead because of the impact.

So, why is she alive again?!

From the ground, Lilian slowly got up as the white aura surrounded her own body. Gianna could feel the oozing power that she got that

matches hers. But then, she didn't want to look bothered in front of her so she smirked tauntingly at her. She wouldn't show Lilian that she's

shocked by her power.

Lilian then talked through the mind link since she's still in her wolf form. "Are you that surprised? Feeling threatened now, eh?"

Gianna's face instantly darkened with that. "Why would I even be threatened by a mere stupid wolf like you? That didn't erase the fact that

you're still an omega!" Yes. She's still an omega! She's still weak! Gianna bury that on her mind as she glares at Lilian.

"Yes, I may be an omega but the moon goddess is on my side. That alone is enough of a threat to you."

Gianna smirked. "Oh, surprise! I'm not even scared a bit. So, what if your moon goddess is on your side? You both are still stupid creatures!"

Lilian didn't mind how she insulted her and the moon goddess. She knew that Gianna would do anything to irritate her. She just became

serious and said, "Then let's finish this. I don't see any reason to make you do what you want and rule with your evilness and darkness here."

"This won't happen if you only agree on what I want--"

"That won't really happen because Alpha Karius is mine. He's my mate. Mine. Alone." Lilian smirked on her mind. She knew how obsessed

Gianna is towards her mate and she couldn't really blame her. Alpha Karius is such a fine man and aside from that, he's also kind and

caring.

Gianna's face darkened even more as she gritted her teeth. She's not liking Lilian's confidence! But Lilian wasn't moved by her glares and

black aura anymore.

"Then expect that I will destroy this pack and every wolf here in this place even more!" That's the last thing that she said before she suddenly shifted in the air and turned into a wolf.

Giann's wolf is brown color. It has the same size as Lilian's wolf. It was surrounded with black auras that contradicted Lilian's white aura.

Lilian became even more serious this time. She could feel the anger and power of Gianna as she suddenly launched in the air and aimed to attack her. And of course, she won't back out this time. Lilian also jumped in the air and met her attack in the air.

They were like two charges that's repelling because of the aura surrounding the both of them. Their wolves are pushing each other but they immediately both backfired because of their auras.

They balanced themselves to not fall on the ground and Lilian made the first move this time. She attacked Gianna and tried clawing her wolf. Gianna was able to jump swiftly to dodged her attack. Lilian tried chasing her more quickly this time and tried clawing her again and she smirked mentally when she was able to wound her. The wound won't heal that easily even if Gianna is more powerful now.

"Fuck you!" Gianna smirked through the mind linked as her wolf groaned and glare at her. Her side is now dripping with her own blood because of Lilian's claws.

Lilian then smirked. "Oh, sorry. Alpha Karius is the only one who could do that to me," she said to her, pissing her even more.

Gianna then also tried attacking her this time and they were both fast on their moves. They were like lightning, too fast and dangerous. Every wolf that watches them is in awe. But then, they needed to attack the rogues.

Lilian tried to ripped Gianna's wolf skin but she was able to dodge it. Gianna launched in the air again and Lilian didn't really see it coming. Gianna wounded her on the side of head face, marking it with her sharp claws. She heard the mocking laugh of Gianna but she didn't let it affect her. It stung but she will never give her the satisfaction!

They are both attacking each other and no one seems to want to get beaten.

"Moon goddess, please give me more strength..." Lilian whispered in the air and closed her eyes for her short prayer to the moon goddess.

And then seconds later, her white aura became more intense than a while ago. Gianna was shocked to see it and groaned when she felt the intensity of it. Gianna will never show that she was actually moved to her position seeing Lilian's wolf become much stronger and bigger.

Lilian started attacking Gianna again and all that Gianna could do was to dodge it. Her legs are making her back down because of the force of Lilian's attack but no! She will win on this no matter what happens!

"AAHHH!!" Gianna shouted painfully when she felt Lilian's claws stabbed her stomach deep, it made her blood gushed out from her own body. She glares at Lilian but she just sunk her claw even more, piercing her skin. Lilian's claws were laced with light that's producing a heat, it was too painful for Gianna already.

Instead of stopping, Lilian ripped Gianna with her canines this time. Gianna was already groaning in so much pain but she remained unfazed.

"Stop this now, Gianna. It's all over for you," Lilian whispered as she let her white aura surround Gianna's body, hurting her even more.

Gianna laughed mockingly. "You will never be happy again, woman. Alpha Karius is now being eaten by his own demon. He's not your mate anymore. If you're not going to break your mate bond with him, then his demon could do all the work for me. So, I still won.."

Lilian's wolf glares at her as she can't stop herself anymore. She threw Gianna in the air and in one last strength, she fell on the ground with a loud impact. She wasn't content on that yet and kicked her stomach repeatedly, stepping on it until Gianna coughed with her own blood. Lilian wanted so bad to erase her smirk on her lips but then... It was all short-lived.

Because seconds later, Gianna closed her eyes and died...

Lilian thought that it was all done. She looked around and saw that the rogues were starting to disappear into ashes. They are all fading now since Gianna is gone... the one who's in control with them all.

Her gaze went to the side where he saw Alpha Karius. He's still in his demon form but his eyes are full of tears... like he came back to his senses again. Lilian didn't hesitate to go to him as she shifted back to normal, not minding her nakedness and ran to hug him tight despite his scary appearance.

"Don't... you have to finish this, love. C'mon..." he whispered at her and made her unwrap her arms around him.

She shook her head. "I-It's done. Let's get out of here--"

"No. You have to... kill me. That's the right thing to do."

Lilian gasped. Kill... she doesn't think she could even do that. Yes, she thought of hurting him before when she came back to his pack but then love has come her way for the second time around. Her love for him was able to conquer the pain and hatred in her heart.

Love... how powerful. But it also hurts bigtime.

"There's no need for me to kill you, Alpha Karius." She shook her head weakly.

"C'mon, love... I'm tired. I kept on trying to fight this but..." He weakly shook his head as his tears kept on streaming down his face. Lilian

couldn't help but to cry. "Do it... while I can still stop my own demon. Please..."

"I.. I can't!" She cried again louder this time. She's also having a hard time here... seeing him this weak... the alpha that she only loves in this

lifetime.

"You can do it, love..." He whispered with a sad smile on his lips.

"I won't do it, Alpha Karius. I love you so much! I can't kill you! Fuck being the chosen one, I'm still your mate! I will not follow the moon

goddess this time."

He smiled despite the tears on his eyes. "You don't know how happy I am hearing those words from you again. I love you too, Lilian... so

damn much but this is how you end everything. You have to do this."

He suddenly got the sharp chunk of the vase on the ground and gave it to her. Alpha Karius made her hold firmly on the sharp object and

pointed it to his heart, aiming to stab.

She cried even more. How could he do this to her!? He wanted her to just kill him! When he couldn't even do that! This is such a torture for

her! Heck, this is the last thing that she will do.

But then, a voice suddenly echoed in her mind in the midst of her tears.

"You have to. And trust me, after this, you will receive the greatest gift from me..."

Lilian suddenly gasped when she remembered Tatianna's words... the moon goddess. Tatianna told her that she had to trust her. She calmed

down a bit after that.

This will be the last time. This will be the last time that she will follow the moon goddess. Because she wants her to kill a demon or

darkness... her mate... is such a torture for her. But she will give her her trust one last time.

She was crying so hard as she looked at Alpha Karius' eyes again. He's looking at her with his encouraging eyes. He smiled one last time..

And with that, Lilian leaned towards him and gave him one last kiss before she slowly buried the sharp object on his chest...

"I love you..." he mouthed one last time as he suddenly faded in the air, white light started to take him away.
