Chapter 2587: Gospels of Dawn
Chapter 2587: Gospels of Dawn
Along his journey, Rui stopped by several Sage-level nations and Master-level powerhouses, strengthening as many as he could. Many of these nations were in the sphere of influence of the Sekigahara Confederate or Britannian Empire and thus had previously had no choice but to fall in line and join the East Panamic Treaty Alliance against the Kandrian Empire in the third Great East Panamic War.
Many of them had also had their leaders assassinated by the Emperor of Harmony through the Silent Shadow.
Yet, they welcomed the Dawnbringer as though he was an old friend.
They were even more friendly than the Sekigahara Confederate.
For they were even more desperate than the Sekigahara Confederate.
They also hated him less. They had only joined the war against the Kandrian Empire because they had no choice. Thus, their gratitude for him and all the blessings that he had bestowed upon them was entirely genuine.
Rui, on the other hand, was entirely laid back about their past.
If he was going to help the Sekigahara Confederate, then helping these lesser ex-enemies of the Kandrian Empire was hardly a big deal. He didn't hold back with the Hellbringer hypnotic embedding, nor was he reserved with his breakthrough bestowing.
Each nation he entered was vastly stronger and exponentially effective against the Beast Incursion, being able to slow down the progress of the incursion greatly. He regretted that he didn't have the time to visit every nation but knew that they would benefit regardless. With the strong nations becoming stronger and being able to withstand greater pressure that would have otherwise fallen on the other nations, everybody benefited from the trickle-down effect.
This was not missed.
The world watched with deep scrutiny at how effective his solutions were.
His presentation in the Human Summit was truly compelling, but once the wow factor had ended, the leaders of human civilization wanted to see proof.
And they most certainly did.
According to data from the Beggar's Sect, the performance of every nation that he had blessed in his voyage through human civilization had increased exponentially.
The mortality rate of Martial Artists plummeted. Nations were even able to sometimes get away with being able to have all their Martial Artists survive due to the increased efficacy of Martial Masters.
The incursion rate, which was the rate at which territory was permanently torn away from the Human Domain, had entirely paralyzed regions where the Dawnbringer had passed through as he spread the blessings of his solutions. In certain places, the incursion rate even grew negative as certain human nations grew powerful enough to reclaim some parts of their lost territories.
It became increasingly clear that he, along with the Esoterist's technological solutions, were their only hope in the Era of Darkness.
And this reflected in the attitude of the leaders who greeted him to their respective nations. Their regard, fervor, and gratitude towards him grew increasingly more intense.
And as nations and their populations had grown to be more desperate, their emotions had grown to be more intense.
It escalated beyond mere gratitude.
He came to be regarded as a symbol of hope.
A symbol of salvation.
Rui was not fond of what he sensed in the minds of the people and their Martial Artists, but he had no control over the emotions they experienced for him. Nor did he have any control over what they thought of him.
Unbeknownst to him, it wasn't just because of the blessings that he administered to each human nation he graced. It was because even without the intensity of their fervorous gratitude, their was plenty of reason for them to experience extraordinary awe at his very presence.
"Hail the Dawnbringer!"
"The Beacon of Hope!"
"Slayer of Beasts!"
"The Master who fought a Sage!"This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.
Rui frowned as he sky-walked away from a nation he was just departing. The overzealous citizens had gathered to bid him goodbye, many prostrating before him with intense devotion in their eyes.
"How in the world did the average citizen in a Master-level powerhouse find out about that?"
It happened inside a Sage-level barrier that isolated all information flux.
Unbeknownst to him, the Beggar's Sect had found out nonetheless.
And they spread it across the entire world the moment they did.
And just like that, citizens from across the world learned of the Dawnbringer, who fought a Martial Sage. A Martial Artist is so powerful that not even a Martial Artist of a higher Realm could best him.
"Tsk, those annoying beggars, can't they keep their mouths shut?" Rui grumbled when he deduced what was happening.
It was no wonder that he was sensing some truly intense emotions within those who beheld him.
And yet, he could also understand why they chose to spread tales of his most recent exploit.
"Hope."
In order to spread hope amidst an Era of Darkness, the Beggar's Sect used his most recent feat to evangelize the Dawnbringer. In times of peace, it would have never escalated beyond mere
gossip.
However, in an age of desperation where people frantically and obsessively clinged to that what gave them hope, it evolved to far, far more than just gossip.
It has started to become a religion.
The religion of the Dawnbringer.
Those who had spoken with him and interacted with him described it as one of the most profound experiences in their entire life as they witnessed him spreading just a fraction of his omnipotent power to all of them, giving them the power they needed to overcome the forces
of darkness.
Their accounts began spreading across human civilization as Gospels of Dawn, once more secretly accelerated by the Beggar's Sect. The only nations that were able to resist the Beggar's Sect's propaganda were Sage-level powerhouses that possessed a much firmer grip over what their people thought and felt.
One such Sage-level powerhouse was none other than the Britannian Empire.
STEP
"Finally..." Rui murmured faintly as he saw the gigantic walls of the Britannian Empire in the
distance.
His eyes narrowed. "Time to go help Kandria's greatest enemy, I guess."
