"How is your ass now?" I asked Ava.

"Better. I still need to be punished twelve times." She whispered, pink tinting her cheeks.

"That you do." I agreed and then started stripping out of my clothes, getting ready for bed. I am

extremely tired today.

"Really?" Her eyes widened when she saw me undoing my belt. She thought that I was really going to

belt her.

Let me toy with her, I thought with a smirk.

I pulled the belt out of all the loops and gave her a hard look. "I told you, didn't I?" I folded the belt in

half and slapped it on my palm.

"But-but I c-counted." She took a step back and I took a step forward.

"You didn't count the previous four." I whispered and saw her nipples tightened. She still had black

smudges of smoke on her entire body. I wiped her chest and showed her my black fingers and

whispered, "you're a filthy girl," I stepped forward again and her back hit the glass of the window. "You

deserve a bit of punishment, don't you?"

Her eyes slid from my fingers to my grey eyes. She arched her back, making her nipples graze my

naked skin. I ground my hard on in her core. "Will you let me punish you?"

"I -I," a panicked look crossed her eye and her eyes dropped to the belt. "I'm scared." Her scared eyes

snapped to mine again.

All amusement left me.

I dropped the belt on the floor and held her face with my hands. "I'll never do something you don't

want." I kissed her dry lips, tasting the black smoke. I didn't mind it.

"I want to take a shower." She whispered.

Nodding, I released her. Ducking her head, she scurried into the bathroom. I saw that her ass had

returned back to her normal skin colour again.

Letting out a breath, I finished stripping myself and jumped in the bed, forcing myself to keep my eyes

open and wait for Ava.

After what seemed like hours, she stepped out. I scrunched my eyes open, not able to fully open them

in this state of tiredness. I saw her look at me before she crossed the room and stood her the balcony.

Then she slowly bent down and picked up the belt. She looked at it intently, like it was a different NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.

creature.

And to my surprise, she folded it in half and then slapped it over her open palm, a lot like I had done

but her palm closed at the impact like she was trying to feel it more. The next slap of the belt was a bit

harsher and the smell of her arousal filled the room.

Well, fuck my life. Ava actually likes pain.

The belt slid from her fingers and fell on the floor with a thump. She jumped and then turned around to

look at me. I closed my eyes instantly.

For some reason, it felt too private to watch. It was something she hadn't admitted to herself yet and

she probably never will. I'm not going to force her.

I heard some rustling and I opened my eyes again. She had picked up my clothes and was walking

towards the bathroom— to put them in the hamper like she did everyday— and then rounded the bed

to get to her side and crawled up the bed. She slid under the covers and snuggled against my chest.

Keeping my eyes closed, I put my arm around her waist and bring her closer, like I did in sleep most of

the time and took a deep breathe, smelling the true smell of Ava.

She sighed. "Goodnight, Love."

When I woke up, Nik was already gone. I got dressed and rushed down to catch him for breakfast but

later realised that the entire house was deathly silent.

"Where is everyone?" I asked April who was already cooking breakfast for me.

"Master Max And Mistress Natalia left early in the morning along with Beta Dimitri. Master Andrei and

Master Mikhail left for training. And Alpha, I believe is in the office." She replied.

"Thank you so much, April." I squeezed her shoulder and rushed upstairs to his office. What the hell is

going on? There is something different in the air today. Something is going on.

I entered Nik's office and saw him rub his eye as he was hunched on the desk and was drawing

something.

"You came at the perfect time. I have a lot of work for you to do." He informed me.

"I'm ready." I nodded.

"About fifty vampires are coming so you need to make arrangements for them to live. Mikhail has the

food delivery coming in today and you need to distribute it among everyone, giving the most nutritious

food to warriors, children and pregnant women first. The vampires will be here around seven so meet

me directly at the pack house at six fifty sharp along with the kids, we have to greet them and have

dinner together. Take care of the dinner too. What else am I missing?" He wondered and went through

a couple of drawers. "Ah yes." He took out a couple of papers. "All the information you need to make all

of this work."

Smiling at his overworked state, I rounded the desk and pulled him for a kiss. "I will take care of

everything, Nik. This and the pack. All you need to focus on is the war."

He smiled against my lips, "make me proud."

"Always," I whispered and smiled before I took the papers from his office and left.

I claimed one of the extra offices as mine and went through all the papers and made a list of mine own.

We have about two hundred pack members and fifty houses with an average of three people living on

one house. There were ten spare houses and an average house had about three rooms. The pack

house also had about ten rooms that weren't used.

I could easily ask the teens that were living in the pack house to move back with their parents so the

vampires could live there together but I wanted to spread them out. I didn't trust them fully and by

spreading them out, the wolves can keep an eye on them. They will also see the pack life and our

hospitality and start to like it, and we will gain their loyalty once they make friends. It will be needed if

we are to fight together.

I distributed the vampires around the town, some in the pack house, some in a house with a family and

some in the spare houses. I made sure that there are at least two slaves in each house to take care of

their needs.

Next, I called Mikhail and took all the details of the delivery and distributed the food. Then I matched it

with my reports and made sure that all the houses had enough food for the duration of at least next two

weeks. I mailed the details to Mikhail and told him to forward it to the wolves in-charge of the delivery.

After I was done, I popped in Nik's office and told him that I'm going to the pack house.

"Good morning, Luna." A girl in her late teens greeted me with a wide smile at the pack house.

"Good afternoon." I said and she flushed. "It's fine. It's only five past noon." I chuckled and walked in.

"Are you free today?"

"I have nothing to do. Which I realise bit sad, now that I said it out loud." She said with a sheepish

smile.

I laughed. "Let me make you happy then. I have lots of work and I need help. I enlist you my secretary

for the day."

"Evaline Bowmen at your service, Luna." She bowed and chuckled. I liked her instantly. "But please call

me Eva."

"Then you must call me Avalyn." I grinned at her and she nodded. "First task, show me the kitchen."

"Follow me." She said and walked in front of me. "Clear my path, Luna coming through." She yelled

and all the teens who were yelling and running around paused and greeted me with big smiles and

bowed.

"Man, I love this job already." Eva grinned and we walked down the path everyone had cleared for us

and finally entered the state of the art stainless steel kitchen.

The three people present there stopped working and greeted me.

I smiled at all of them. "Who is the head chef here?"

The oldest lady among them stepped up. "I am." She looked sixty something and looking at me with a

glint in her eyes. "Before you fire me, let me tell you that no one here cooks better than me in this entire

pack." She perched her hand on her hip.

I grinned. "That's perfect. I'm not here to fire you ma'am." Her grey eyebrows shot up. "In fact it's the

opposite. We are having guests over. About fifty vampires with a hefty appetite considering they are

warriors. I'm extremely sorry to spring you on this last minute but can you make it work?"

"I do love a challenge." She stroked her chin thoughtfully before her eyes narrowed at me. "I will need

more people to work for me."

"Done. How many do you want?"

"Five men who can carry groceries and five women who know what they are doing." She replied

instantly.

"You will get it. This is the menu," I handed her the list I made in the morning, "please give me the list of

groceries you will need."

She scanned the list and yelled for a piece of paper from the other two girls who scurried to do her

bidding.

She wrote me a?very?long list. "You have an hour."

"Thank you so much!" I threw my arms around her neck and hugged her. She patted my back and

actually cracked a smile.

Grinning again, I pulled Eva out with me.

"Did the old Mrs. Grump actually smile?" She asked in bewilderment. I gave her a look.

"In my defence, her last name really is Grump." She snickered, causing me to crack a smile.

"Attention, Luna incoming!" Eva yelled again when we entered the living room.

The commotion stopped again and two guys who were fighting over a remote fell down. One of them

whacked the other over the head causing the other guy to say 'fucking asshole'. The room turned dead

silent at that and I let out a small laugh, causing everyone to relax and release a relieved chuckle.

"I need your help." I told everyone. That caused everyone to look at me in attention.

I decided to have fun with the kids.

"Are you call ready for a challenge?" I asked.

All them looked at each other and their eyes turned competitive before they nodded.

"I asked, are you ready for a challenge?" I asked louder.

"Yes!" They all yelled, Eva joining them for fun.

"We are having fifty vampires as guests. We need to accommodate them, feed them and train with

them. Can we do it?" I said louder and stood on the table so I was higher that everyone. Most guys

here were over six feet.

"Yes!" They yelled unanimously.

"Are we ready to make them feel at home?" I pumped my fist in the air.

"Hell yes!" They roared.

I grinned. "Very good. I want all of you to divide yourself in five groups. Group one- those who are the

strongest and can lift a lot of bags, group two- those who are the fastest, group three- I need five

people who are good at cooking, group four- those who don't want to go out and group five- those who

want to plan a party."

In the next five minutes, I had five groups ready.

"Group one, you may step ahead." I puffed my chest and said in an english tone. Everyone snickered

at my horrible accent.

"I know my accent if very bad." I laughed with them. I gave them the long list of grocery. "Divide this

among yourself. You have," I looked at the time, "forty minutes."

Their eyes widened.

"Can you do it?" I asked loudly, wanting to hype then up again.

"Yes." They all nodded with determination and took the list before running out.

"Group two, come forward." They did as I said. "Go to all of these houses and tell the owners that they

will be housing a guest for a week or so and make preparations. Extra food is being delivered to all of

them as we speak." I told them. "Ready?"

"Ready!" They all said unanimously.

"Then get, set, go!" I grinned and they all left.

"Group three, you all will be helping Mrs. Grump with the cooking." They all deflated at the name of

Mrs. Grump.

"You all can take the leftovers home." I bribed.

"You have a deal." The three girls and two boys nodded and left to go to the kitchen.

"Group four, you call need to clean the pack house." Their eyes widened. I know, the house is freaking

huge. "Everyone will be paid fifty dollars." I bribed again.

Their grins were answers enough. Teens can always use some extra money.

"And group five," I grinned at the two girls and two guys, "I want you all to throw the best party of your

lives."

"You're?the?best Luna ever!" A girl gushed and then they nodded at me before walked away, already

chatting about the plans.

"You're probably the smartest Luna as well." Eva looked at me with a small smile.

I raised my brows and stepped down from the coffee table. "Making the most non-productive age group

in a pack work is no easy task. You have skills."

I smiled at her.

"You can supervise over everyone and if there is a problem, I'll be in Nik's office. The first group are the

first ones who should be here, tell them that they need to cleanup the ten extra houses and make all

the living accommodations. And as the other groups come in, tell them to help with the cleaning and

the accommodations of the extra houses. I'm counting on you Eva." I squeezed her shoulder.

"We will make you proud, Luna."
