The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 765

Matthew grabbed the water, realizing for the first time Rachel could be pretty considerate. "Thanks."noveldrama

Rachel rolled her eyes at him. "I've given you everything, and you're still so polite with me."

He realized she was right. "Alright. I'll stop being so formal from now on."

Someone knocked on the door, and Rachel hurried to clean the floor before opening it. After opening the door, she found out that it was the new sales manager.

Her expression immediately turned cold. Glancing back at Matthew, who was drinking water, she instructed, "Head out and check on the car. I'll need it this afternoon."

Matthew was taken aback by how quickly Rachel changed her demeanor. The only time she was truly honest with him was when they were intimate. "Got it. I'll go inspect the car. I drive pretty aggressively sometimes, so it definitely needs more maintenance."

Rachel's expression changed slightly, but she quickly reverted to her aloof attitude. She turned to the sales manager. "The hospital matters have been sorted out. You need to..."

Matthew walked out of the office and made his way toward the elevator.

In the corridor, Tracy watched Matthew's back figure as he left. A hint of resentment flashed in her eyes. "Just you wait, Matthew. After I speak with Tessa, your relationship with Rae will be over."

On the ninth floor of Opulent Club, Ansel was on the phone. "When are you coming back to Lambda City, Nicholas? Matthew has many questions for you, and he has only been stirring up more trouble. His bloodlust is too intense. I'm starting to worry about him."

An old, weary voice came through the phone. "Let him be. Being so young, he needs to have some anger, a fire within him, and a will to fight. Without those, is he still young?"

Ansel furrowed his brows together. "That's not what I meant. I'm afraid of drawing those people's attention. They're tough to deal with. I'm concerned about his safety."

The line went quiet. After a moment, the voice finally responded, "He's already the most dangerous person in the world with Juprus Ring."

Ansel thought for a second before suggesting, "How about I lend him a hand?"

The person on the line sternly warned, "You can't do that!"

Ansel sported a worried look. "But I'm really worried. After all that effort to train him, I can't let anything happen to him."

A firm voice came through the line. "I merely showed him the basics, so he has to fight his way forward. He can only reach the pinnacle by pushing through deadly battles and stepping over the dead bodies of his opponents. That's what makes a true powerhouse. Only then is he worthy of taking Juprus Blade from me."

Ansel was about to continue when he spotted Matthew walking in. He swiftly ended the phone call and turned to Matthew. "What brings you here?"

Matthew replied with a smile, "Sorry for intruding. Last time, you gave me a profile on the Harmona Sect's successor. I want the details on the Presetian Sect's successor."

Puzzled, Ansel replied, "Is there any difference between the two traditional medicine sects?"

Matthew thought for a moment before responding, "If traditional medicine is compared to an animal kingdom, the Presetian Sect is considered the lion. The sect is highly respected and unrivaled. People recognize them as the top sect without question."

Ansel nodded. "I agreed."

Matthew continued, "Even though

traditional medicine has declined, plenty of the Presetian Sect's fans are supporting them online. I'm a big fan as well, and their medical expertise is amazing. But I'm also a devoted fan of the Harmona Sect, and I love how they combine the knowledge from the past and present to enhance traditional medicine. That's why I'm so into the Harmona Sect.

"Do you remember? I have a weird habit. Let's say I'm having a meal with many dishes. If there's a drumstick, which is my favorite among them, I'll save it for last n that sense, I'll put the mission for the Harmona Sect at last. So, want to work on the Presetian Sect first."
