Matthew furiously screamed into the phone, "Fuck off! Just because you say you're Horace, I should believe you? Trying to trick me over the phone? Fat chance!"

Matthew didn't reveal his name from the start, so he could keep Horace in the dark about who he was and catch Horace off guard. He had a plan in mind and was ready to lure Horace right into it.

Horace couldn't believe what he heard. After everything, Matthew still wasn't convinced he was Horace. No wonder he was speaking so casually. Now, he had actually started cursing like crazy.

Horace was livid. "Get this straight! I'm Horace Wood, a general from the military. You've got some nerve talking to me like that. Do you have a death wish?"

Matthew indifferently responded, "Motherfucker! I might say I'm Brad Miles, but would you believe that? Stop playing games with me. I'm not falling from it."

Upon hearing that, Horace gritted his teeth. "Just you wait. I'll send someone to see you in 20 minutes, then you'll find out if I'm really Horace. Don't wet yourself when the time comes."

Matthew coldly replied, "Fine! I'll wait for you for 20 minutes. If you can't prove yourself to be Horace in 20 minutes, I'm taking Dallas out."

After he was hung up on, Horace blew up in rage. A nobody like Matthew wasn't even qualified to be on the phone with him. However, when he was on the call with Matthew, Matthew still had the nerve to insult him.

Horace picked up the phone and called the person taking charge of eliminating Matthew. "Heed my command, Carlos. You have 20 minutes to get to Clearwater Psychiatric Hospital. If you're late, you'll face military punishment."

Carlos was startled. "I'll lead my team there immediately. What's my objective at Clearwater Psychiatric Hospital?"

Blinded by anger, Horace had totally forgotten to assign a mission. "Your task is to protect Dallas. Kill whoever poses a threat to his life.

"I'm heading to Lambda City now, and I expect good news about the mission by the time my plane lands."

When the phone call ended, Carol immediately issued an order, "Head over to Clearwater Psychiatric Hospital right away. Tell everyone to stop the pursuit of Matthew. I want to see everyone there in 15 minutes."

At Clearwater Psychiatric Hospital, Matthew wielded the Apex Blade and approached Dallas. "I've got a few questions for you."

With five of his fingers cut off, Dallas was in so much pain that he was about to faint. When he saw Matthew coming, he screamed in terror.

"Listen! The person you were talking to on the phone was really Horace. When he comes with his men, you're done for."

With a whoosh, the Apex Blade plunged deep into Dallas' chest. Then, it was violently pulled out. Blood gushed out from the wound in his chest.

He pressed his hand over it, but it was no use. Blood seeped through his fingers, and his body twitched involuntarily in agony.

"I'm telling the truth! He's really Horace the general. A-aren't you afraid of him coming for you? Have you thought about what'll happen when he does?"

Sebastian looked at Matthew with worry. If Horace showed up, Matthew, Theo, and he might all die here. Thinking about the outcome, Sebastian couldn't hold back his tears anymore.

Matthew sneered. "You seriously thought I didn't realize he was Horace? I knew

the whole time. I provoked him on purpose to lure him here."
