Chapter 2609
"It isn't really your fault. It's theirs!"
Frank laughed, gesturing at the Ghostly Six with his chin.
Presuming that they were being summoned, the Ghostly Six hurried to Frank in a flash. "Yes, chief?"
"Nothing much, but it really won't do to have you six drift around!" Frank chuckled. "Those small fry definitely aren't letting this slide, so why don't I throw you a bone?"
The sextuplets bowed their heads right then. "As you wish, sir!"
Frank glanced at Zark, who took his cue from Frank and smiled. "Would you like to join Mystic Sky Guild?"
The Ghostly Six did a double take but soon exclaimed excitedly, "Of course! If we're allowed the opportunity, we'll serve at your beck and call!"
Mystic Sky Guild was undoubtedly the greatest organization right now. Not only would their reputation improve under Frank's leadership, but they would not have to worry about reprisals either!
Still, Frank chuckled. "Save the flattery. Not everyone gets to join Mystic Sky Guild —not only must you be able to follow orders to the letter, but self-discipline is also vital!
"A good blade has to be sturdy in itself. If you can't even look the part, no one's going to be happy with you."
The Ghostly Six all bowed their heads at Frank in salutation. "No worries, chief! We'll do our best to not let you down!'
Frank nodded in satisfaction-he liked these boys, to be honest!
Just then, one of the Ghostly Six's phones rang.
"Okay, got it!"
Hanging up, the sextuplet asked, "Would you happen to be busy, sir?"
"I was just lying to those geezers," Frank replied, shaking his head. "Plenty of time on my hands. So? What is it?"
"Someone is demanding a duel," the sextuplet replied. "They're said to be quite strong. Would you care to coach us on location, sir?"
Frank nodded, since he had nothing else to do.
They stopped by a cheap diner to eat before heading over, since the Ghostly Six never made much money and could only afford this.
While they thought it was poor form and wanted something better, Frank told them that he did not appreciate gourmet food all that much, so they simply settled on the diner
As Zark ate, he told the Ghostly Six, "Your days will be better now that you're working for Mr. Frankton."
Frank nodded. "True. We have plenty

"Thank you, sir!" the sextuplets replied as one.
That was when someone started yelling nearby, "Are you crazy?! You're wasting so much of our chili! How are we going to run a business here?!"
The men all turned to find that it was none other than the owner who was yelling.
Possibly losing his marbles, the owner had started snapping at his customer for putting in too much chili.

"So what?" the owner snapped coolly. "You have no idea how expensive chili is
these days! Get out of here, or I'll make you!"
The customer was clearly not interested in getting into trouble and refrained from arguing despite being indignant.
He scanned the diner QR code for payment and started to leave.
"Wait!"
The owner grabbed him right then. "Did you think that covers everything?! What about the chili?!"
The customer rolled his eyes. "The noodles were nine dollars-I'll add twenty on top of that, alright?"
What do you think?
