Even before the manager could answer, Hal strode straight toward Frank!

Sensing the change in atmosphere, Frank turned to find himself staring into Hal's eyes, and Hal grinned. "You're quite the fighter kid. Let me guess... Ascendant rank?"

Frank shrugged. "Perhaps!"

Demi, Jada, and Moxxi all turned when they heard Hal and were smiling calmly as Hal did not appear all that intimidating.

Moxxi even nipped, "Know your place and leave, tramp, or we'll make you!"

Hal was at once amused. "Such pretty ladies! But I'm not one for violence against women, so if you're willing to change your ways, I don't mind taking you into my harem.

"Naturally, the condition is that you must be good, or I'll sell you off as slaves!"

His words only sent both Jada and Moxxi flying into a rage, but while both were ready to show him, Frank held them back.

"What's your name, geezer?" Frank asked.

"I'm going to give it to you straight-I'm Hal Prana in the flesh!"

"You're Hal Prana?!" Demi was shocked, having heard of the man's feats before.noveldrama

He could allegedly take on hundreds alone and even carry a car with one hand! People called him a god, and there was no one who did not fear him after meeting him!

"This all started because of me," Demi quickly said, convinced that Frank would not win. "So take it up with me. They're innocent."

Hal snarled coolly, "So you're saying you'd take the bullet for him? Fair enough. Then come with me!"

Demi nodded, as Frank had saved her earlier-and twice at that.

And she certainly was no ingrate!

"You have to promise me that you won't hurt them!"

Hal rolled his eyes. "Don't worry I'm not like that. You've just gotta behave!"

Demi stood up, actually ready to leave with him.

Jada quickly caught her, laughing in exasperation. "What are you doing, silly? With Mr. Frankton around, even the gods have to show him due respect!"

"Really?" Hal chuckled, not quite believing his ears. "Did I hear that right? Is that young gentleman really that amazing?"

"He is, and very much so!" Jada snapped. "So this is your last chance, geezer. Back off, or we will show you!"

Hal nodded. "You're feisty-I like that! Wonder how many days it'd take to break you!"

Frank sighed. "Why do people always want to screw themselves over? Honestly, I'm tired and I don't

want to dirty my hands with a character like him. Moxxi, I choose you!"

"Alright!"

In fact, Moxxi could hardly wait!

Utterly impatient, Moxxi leapt forward, launching a jab aimed squarely on Hal's face.

Shocked, Hal only managed to dodge it by bare inches. "That was fast!"

Even before he had time to compose himself, Moxxi's swiping kick followed, and

Hal did not have time to dodge this time.

The kick struck true. And even as Hal dropped to his knees in pain, Moxxi knocked him flat on the floor with another kick!
