Moxxi had no reason to refuse after Frank's explanation-she would not be harmed either way, and it would be Frank's fault if he got ahead of himself.

In fact, he could do anything he liked as long as she was safe from harm.

Still, she pointed out, "But you've made quite the name for yourself, and all of BM Group's executives know about you and have seen photos of you. How are you going to fool them?"

"Easy!" Frank chuckled, snapping his fingers.

He transformed right then, becoming a tall but rotund man!

And it was not just his looks either-his clothes changed to, leaving Moxxi

shocked by his appearance.

"H-How did you do that?" she blurted.

Frank brandished his ring at her. "I can do anything with this-changing my appearance is really nothing. Come on."

Moxxi nodded stiffly-it went without saying how much she rejoiced in seeing the bigger picture and choosing to ally with Frank. Otherwise, she would never know what killed her!

People like him were just so frightening that Moxxi did not dare to imagine going against them. It did not matter how she ended up near Frank-she swore to be as loyal to him as Jada was.

Once they got into their car, they headed straight to the highway, and Moxxi told Frank, "My superior was following me when I came, since he was concerned that you're a tough nut to deal with. I was planning to kill him as a present to celebrate our meeting, but you've changed my mind now, so I didn't go through with it."

She was being honest and telling Frank what she had in mind.

For Frank's part, he knew that Moxxi was hardly as simple-minded as Jada, but she had no reason to lie to him in this particular matter. As such, he nodded, showing that he believed her.

Seeing that, Moxxi sighed in relief and continued, "His name is Smith-BM Group may be a foreign organization, but he is Shaganese, born and bred. He just refuses to acknowledge his roots."

Frank smirked it was amusing that the spiritron vein was actually interested in a person who denied his roots. The end really justified the means for that dragon!

As Moxxi elaborated on Smith, his seemingly intimidating story actually left Frank looking forward to their meeting.

He wondered if such a callous man would stay true to his nature when driven to desperation!

An hour later, as their car stopped outside a service area, Moxxi and Frank alighted and headed straight into the diner.

Moxxi then pointed at a middle-aged man who was working at a noodle stall. "That's him! Smith!"

"He is?!" Frank was unsure how he should react to that.

The brat was really going all out, working as a stall worker to disguise himself. But since he was an executive of the BM Group, Frank was pretty sure he would be annoyed too.

Moxxi led Frank to the window, ordering, "Two bowls of noodles. Large, extra spicy."noveldrama

As she was busy with her order, she never spoke to Smith, but he seemed to understand why. After Frank and Moxxi got their orders and took a seat, Smith sneaked up and sat in front of them.

"Swapped bodyguards?" he asked, noticing Frank just then. While he appeared no different from her other goons, the look in his eyes and the way he carried himself was simply different.

Moreover, he was sitting with Moxxi and not standing beside him, which made him

all the more suspicious.
