The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1540

Patrick and Blaze exchanged a glance, both slightly puzzled. Why did it seem like their junior sister transformed into a completely different person in their teacher's description?

She seemed quite approachable from their interactions.

After a moment of thought, Blaze, not motivated by the prize, volunteered, "I'll talk to her then."

Elliot raised an eyebrow at him, "Alright."

Blaze touched his nose, finding his teacher's gaze somewhat odd.

But he didn't dwell on it, turning instead to sit down at the computer, beginning to address the issues Mirabella had identified with Patrick.

Mirabella left the Physics Department, not heading back to the Biology

Department but instead walking towards the campus exit, planning to go home.

Today was the first day of school, and there weren't any classes.

Before she reached the gate, her phone rang in her pocket.

It was James, "Still at school?"

"Yeah, planning to head home," Mirabella replied, her voice lazy and relaxed.

"Wait for me at the gate for a few minutes."

"Okay, sure."

Mirabella hung up, continuing her walk at a leisurely pace.

Alongside, a luxury white car slowly made its way towards the campus gate.

Inside the car, Yara, utterly bored, lifted her head to look out of the window, her mother's nagging voice beside her becoming increasingly tedious.

That's when she spotted a girl walking on the sidewalk.

Dressed in a white coat, with a tall and slender figure, the hem of her coat fluttered behind her as she moved. Even from the back, there was an elegant air about her.

Yara's eyes brightened slightly. She had only met Mirabella once or twice, but the impression was fairly deep.

Not just because of her striking looks, but also because she was a new student under Dr. Elliot from the Physics Department.

She recognized her at once.

Yara asked the driver to slow down, "Stop the car near that girl in the white coat." The driver acknowledged.

Her mother, Kitty, noticing her daughter's gaze towards the

window, also looked out. Without a

clear view of the front, Kitty didn't

recognize Mirabella at first, "A classmate of yours?"

Kitty inquired.

"Not really, a junior from another department," Yara replied softly.

Hearing this, Kitty lost interest, turning her attention back to her phone without another word.

The car soon pulled up beside Mirabella, and the driver honked.noveldrama

Hearing the sound, Mirabella paused and turned to look at the car beside the road.

At that moment, Yara had already rolled down the window, leaning slightly out, "Hey, junior."

Recognizing the somewhat familiar face in

remembered who she was, "Set

Ne car, Mirabella quickly

Yara?"

Yara smiled warmly, "Where are you headed? Let our driver give you a lift." "Thank you, but a friend is coming to pick me up," Mirabella politely declined.

Yara didn't insist, "Alright then, let's get together when we have time."

Mirabella responded positively without looking further into the car.

"I'll be off then," Yara waved at her.

"Sure," Mirabella nodded politely.

As the window slowly rolled up, Kitty beside Yara lifted her head again her gaze faintly sweeping outside. Just as she was about to look away, her expression suddenly changed.

It was Delilah's daughter.

Remembering last year's events, Kitty's fingers instinctively tightened.

By then, the car had started moving again, and the figure of the girl outside gradually shrank and receded.
