Chapter 1500
James was on his phone when he saw a message from Mirabella pop up on Messenger. His fingertips paused for a moment before replying with a question
mark.
Seeing this, Mirabella typed back, "Judging by that, you've never had to write one, have you?"
James: "..."
Mirabella: "Ah, the troubles of a true genius."
James's lips twitched, and he decided to call Mirabella through a video call.
In a few seconds, the screen showed Mirabella lying despondently on her desk.
James chuckled upon seeing her, "Shouldn't writing essays be a piece of cake for a top student like you?"
Holding the phone in one hand and propping her head up with the other, Mirabella said languidly, "I absolutely loathe flowery language. Writing an essay feels just as dreadful as losing a life to me."
She was convinced Zane was out to get her.
James raised an eyebrow slightly, "I'm afraid I can't help you with essays since I've never had to write one myself."
He was met with another long sigh in response.
"However, if you're really struggling, I could introduce you to someone who can help organize your thoughts," James suddenly offered.
Mirabella lifted her eyelids slightly and glanced at the screen, "Who?"
James's well-defined features appeared on the screen, without any beauty filter, as handsome as ever.
His lips curled into a smile, and after a few seconds, he said in a calm manner, "Your future mother-in-law."
Future mother-in-law...
Mirabella immediately sat up straight, expressionless, "Suddenly, I think you're right. Writing an essay should be pretty simple for a top student like me. I'll hang up now if there's nothing else."
Her finger swiftly pressed the end call button.
On the other end, James: "..."
Mirabella twirled her phone, remembering Nick often wrote essays, and then she dialed Nick.
The phone rang several times before it was picked up.noveldrama
"... You need to write an essay? I've got a few essays on my computer you could use as references."
Nick hadn't returned from abroad yet, and it was already late at night there. He had answered the call simply because he couldn't sleep.
Hearing this, Mirabella, still on the phone, got up, walked out, and entered the next room. Seeing the computer on the desk, she powered it on.
After browsing through, she finally, found those essay drafts, "Alright Nick, you should get some rest I'll just take a look and learn from them, I promise not to leak your drafts."
Mirabella pulled up a chair and sat down.
Nick chuckled, "Those have already been published, so there's no issue with confidentiality."
Mirabella was already reading one of the drafts, which was clear, concise, and full
of strong arguments, obviously the work of a top student.
She couldn't help but praise Nick for his excellence.
After blowing some smoke, Mirabella hung up and continued with the essays.
She skimmed through the essays
quickly, finishing several lengthy

drafts in no time and roughly forming an outline in her mind. She took the mouse, ready to close the document.
However, as she was about to exit, her mouse accidentally clicked on the browsing history, unintentionally opening a document from the history.
Mirabella blinked.
