Ranita's heart was racing, and she couldn't help but glare at him when he teased her. "What are you talking about?"

Brendon looked down at her blushing ears with pleasure, thinking to himself that Ranita was such a cute little thing.

"I said what?" Brendon couldn't resist teasing her again.

"But didn't you say you were staying at the school to teach? How come..."

"The school doesn't have many classes, so I came here to work part-time!" Vincent paused before adding, "I didn't expect you to come today too."

As Brendon listened to the two of them chatting like old friends, his eyes darkened and his body temperature dropped.

"Are you Mr. Ramos who's interviewing me today?" Brendon stepped forward as his wife ignored him and partially blocked Ranita. "I'm Brendon."

"Do you know each other?"

"Mr. Ramos is also a graduate of Kurima Foreign Studies University," Ranita explained briefly, while Vincent introduced himself to Brendon, "Mr. Stuart, I've heard your name before. I'm Vincent. I've met Ranita a few times before and we're friends."

"You used to work at the Department of Translation and Interpretation which was pretty good over there. Why did you leave?" Brendon asked nonchalantly with his chin resting on his hand.
