Chapter 1855 Relic from Earthend
Following the direction of Daphne’s outstretched hand, Robin turned toward the wall displaying promotional posters.
It was an advertisement for the Hunderra Auction House.
At the very top of the display, a dagger engraved with the Sakurania word ‘Ritacharm‘ was prominently featured.
Robin’s heart jolted. For a moment, it felt like a dagger had pierced straight through his chest.
Of all the regrets Robin carried, nothing weighed heavier than what happened to Rita.
Her death–he had played a part in it.
And for someone like him, someone who lived by the creed of Divine Drakebane, the idea of leaving debts unpaid was intolerable.
But Rita–her loss could never be repaid.
He never imagined that in the capital city of Rosha in the Netheris Domain, he’d see Rita’s dagger again, which she always carried with her.
If some ancient magic, some strange twist of fate, had brought Rita back to life, nothing else mattered.
Seeing her again would be the greatest miracle.
Robin would ensure she got everything she ever dreamed of if she truly were alive.
He stared fixedly at the image of the dagger.
He remembered well the characters carved into the dagger-“Ritacharm,” written in Sakurania script. He had seen them before.
But he can’t be sure if that’s truly Rita’s dagger.
He turned sharply and grabbed Daphne’s shoulders. “Are you sure that’s her dagger?”
Tears filled Daphne’s eyes. “Yes. Without a doubt. That’s Rita’s dagger.
“I saved her once, by chance,” she continued. “After that, I taught her how to defend herself and survive the world’s chaos.
“And then, I commissioned Mr. Thibault, a famed dagger smith from Nordmare in Sakurania, to forge this dagger just for her–adamantine steel, one–of–a–kind.
“Rita was sweet and full of life,” Daphne said, trembling. “I asked Mr. Thibault to engrave her dagger with the word ‘Ritacharm. That’s his signature style. I’d recognize it anywhere.
“She was like a sister to me. We depended on each other more than family. In Earthend, she was all I had.”
A tear slipped down her cheek. “I never thought I’d lose her.”
Overwhelmed, she dropped to her knees. “Please, Mr. Ramsey, I have to find her!”

Stand up. Robin pulled her to her feet, eyes burning with conviction. “Rita died because of me. Now that I’ve seen her dagger, how can I sit back and do nothing?
If we see Varryn, the priest, today, I’ll ask him about this strange occurrence. I need to know, if someone body dies in Earthend or another realm, can their soul survive for a time?
“Is it possible that in a twist of fate, souls that refuse to vanish somehow find rebirth in the Netheris Domain?”
His eyes narrowed, jaw clenched. “My instincts say Rita’s alive. And if that’s true, there’s a high chance her soul is trapped alongside Shirley’s.
“Even if I have to tear Netheris Domain apart stone by stone, I’ll bring them back.”
Daphne wiped her tears with a sudden fierceness. “Then I’m going to that auction house. I’m getting Rita’s dagger back, no matter what. No one else is walking away with it.”
The auction house stood a little over 300 feet ahead.
Entry required proof of funds, starting at one million Netheris coins.
Seating was divided into tiers based on how much each guest could show.
Robin didn’t bother using the five–hundred–million–credit Black Gold Card that Caius had gifted him.
He showed proof of one million in cash and sat in the lowest–tiered Zone Five section.
Thankfully, Rita’s dagger hadn’t hit the auction block just yet.
About half an hour later, the auctioneer finally presented the item.
Daphne’s eyes welled up when she saw Rita’s dagger in the flesh. She couldn’t hold back her tears.

Seeing a personal item belonging to someone as dear as a sister, here in an entirely different realm like the Netheris Domain, struck a deep, painful chord.
“Mr. Ramsey, that’s Rita’s dagger!” Daphne grabbed Robin’s hand, her voice trembling with emotion.
Even though her heart was filled with anticipation and joy, her tears flowed like a tide.
Robin gave a solemn nod, his throat tight with emotion.
But one thought echoed in his mind, If Rita is still alive, then why is her dagger up for auction in Hunderra?
“Ladies and gentlemen, this adamantine dagger is no ordinary weapon. It is a legendary relic from another realm!”
Onstage, the auctioneer held the dagger high above his head, his voice booming with practiced theatrical. flair.
“Our panel of leading expert appraisers has completed a full evaluation. This extraordinary dagger hails from Earthend!”
Gasps and excited murmurs rippled through the crowd below.

“No way. Are you serious?”
“I heard Earthend is insanely advanced.”
“If it’s really from Earthend, that dagger’s gotta be worth a fortune!”
The auctioneer pressed on, pacing dramatically across the platform.

“According to reports, Earthend is rich in rare, exotic materials. A land full of untapped mineral wonders.
“This dagger was crafted from a rare metal we would classify as adamantine.
“An adamantine dagger, able to slice through solid steel like butter. Unyielding. Lethal.
“And the one who once wielded this mighty weapon? A striking young woman named Rita.
Daphne’s heart skipped a beat.
The auctioneer’s words struck her like lightning. There was no doubt anymore. This was Rita’s dagger.
“Legend says Rita once served a queen of Nordmare,” the auctioneer continued, letting the tension hang.
“They were both part of an elite force under the command of a warrior known across Earthend as the Divine Drakebane.
“This adamantine dagger fought alongside Rita in countless battles. It is said to have taken the heads of many powerful foes.
“One could say this weapon carries the aura of royalty and the edge of a divine level.
“This is the crown jewel of tonight’s auction.
“And so, the starting bid for this adamantine dagger, five million Netheris coins!”
The instant his words dropped, the crowd exploded in a frenzy of shouting.
“I bid 10 million!”
“Fifteen million!”
“Twenty million!”
The room erupted in a frenzy of bidding.
Everyone in the crowd knew they weren’t just bidding on a dagger. They were bidding on a legendary
weapon.
For any sword enthusiast, this was a once–in–a–lifetime chance. It was said that when a blade is imbued with the aura of royalty and the edge of a divine level, it could multiply the wielder’s power tenfold.
One after another, bidders raised their paddles in a fevered rush. noveldrama
The price soared, climbing without pause until it reached 50 million Netheris coins.
A well–dressed middle–aged man shouted the bid, silencing the entire hall.

At that amount, only a rare few could even consider staying in the game.
The auctioneer began the final call.
“Fifty million going once!
“Fifty million going twice!”
The atmosphere was dead silent, tense, and expectant, like the stillness before a thunderstorm.
The applause was already building as people prepared to congratulate the winning bidder.
No one dared to challenge that price.
But just as the auctioneer was about to bring down the gavel.
“One hundred million!”
The entire room went still. A collective gasp swept through the crowd.
Had this person lost their mind?
Even if the dagger was from Earthend, was it worth a hundred million?
Every eye in the room turned toward the source of the voice, Robin and Daphne.
Even the auctioneer stood frozen for a beat.
Then, regaining composure, he announced in a louder voice.
“One hundred million for the adamantine dagger, going once!
“One hundred million, going twice!
“Any further bids?”
The auctioneer raised his gavel.
“One hundred mill … ”
A sharp, piercing voice rang out across the hall.
“Wait! I’ll take it!”
