He raised his Dragon Dagger and pointed it at the two remaining guards. “Drag them out! I want the whole world to watch–live–as I execute every last one of you who dared challenge me.

“Let those fools who still cling to hope understand–touch me or my family, and you will face the full wrath of Divine Drakebane. I will destroy you to the last.”

Lassen quietly stood up and walked alone toward the deck.

As he went, he broadcast Robin’s declaration across all channels.

Every mercenary on the command ship dropped their weapons and stood silently along the rail.
