The Deadly Assassin Robin
Chapter 1156 No Strength, No True Peace
Ciaran immediately called for all Nine Stars security staff to rush to the HR department.
He unhooked his stun baton, aiming it at Robin. “You savage-
“Kneel!” Robin commanded, his voice icy.
Ciaran’s knees buckled painfully, bringing him down in front of Shania. His face twisted in agony.
He fought to rise, but his legs refused to cooperate no matter how hard he struggled.
“W–what did you do to me? Let me go!” he shouted.
Robin sneered. “You’re just a clown.
“Instead of gratitude, you bring trouble. You’re not even worthy of being called human.
“If you’re nothing but trash, why not just disappear? Are you here to make us sick?”

Ciaran’s hands flailed as he spat out threats. “You b*stard! The Nine Stars security will be here soon! I’ll make you pay-”
“Still mouthing off?” Robin shot a look at Rita. “Break his arms.”
With two sharp cracks, Rita snapped Ciaran’s arms.
The hall fell into a haunting silence, broken only by Ciaran’s tortured screams.
Brighde stood frozen, eyes wide with shock.
In her 40 years, she’d never witnessed such raw brutality.
Osgar, too, was paralyzed, unable to process the reality before him.
Was that the last resort of a crumbling old–money family?
Robin nudged the stun baton with his foot, picked it up and offered it to Shania.
Shania, who had been in a daze, asked tremblingly, “Wwhy are you giving this to me?”
“Hold it tightly!” Robin said, his tone sharp. “People like this only understand force.”
Shania’s hands trembled. “I … I’ve never hit anyone before.”
“Without strength, you’ll never find real peace.
“You stood up for this scum, and look where it got you. It’s absurd!”
Before Shania could react, Robin gripped her hand, forcing her to swing the baton down hard on Ciaran’s
head.
Ciaran’s head was smashed. Blood splattered everywhere, creating a horrifying scene.

Everyone in the HR department stood frozen in shock. They instinctively backed away, horrified by the violence unfolding before them.
None of them had ever witnessed anything so brutal,
They were stunned that Shania, who had seemed so beaten down, could fight back with such force.
Some of the staff secretly felt relieved they hadn’t humiliated her earlier in the lobby. If they had, they might be the ones lying on the ground, drenched in blood.
However, most people looked at Shania with a mix of fear and pity, thinking it was her final act of desperation.
They were certain that once Eoran and Brighde’s husband, Ceallach, arrived, Shania would be finished.
The Coyles had already fallen from grace after crossing Divine Drakebane. Kendrick had died, and Shania was left crippled and stripped of her shares, losing control of Nine Stars.
Rumor had it that she was nothing now, yet here she was, causing trouble again.
Brighde often boasted about Ceallach’s powerful connections. He was friends with the general Conall Donohuei, Elaria’s top fighter Thorne Winterstrike, and the police chief Eoran Nolani.
With such strong backing, Brighde’s influence easily overshadowed Shania’s.
The upper echelons of Elaria stuck together, corrupt officials and businessmen supporting each other.
They had a reputation for ruthless tactics–car crashes, mysterious falls, even making people disappear were nothing to them.
Now, with the Coyles in decline, Shania was causing a huge scene again.
On top of that, she had publicly rejected Conall. For a powerful figure like him, crushing the Coyles would be a trivial matter.
Osgar was paralyzed with fear, his mind blank. He hadn’t imagined that his job troubles would spiral into such a dangerous situation.
Trembling, he moved closer to Shania. “Ms. Coyle, you need to leave now. If you stay, things will only get
worse.
“If you go now, they might only hurt me.”
Osgar shook his head, a look of hopelessness clouding his eyes.
He understood that such a situation was far more dangerous than just a beating.
At best, he might end up in jail. At worst, he could find himself dead by the end of the night. His family might even suffer because of that.
Brighde’s threats weren’t empty–they came with real power behind them.

“Do you think you can just run away?” Brighde’s voice quivered as she pointed at Shania and Robin. “Chief Nolani and my husband will be here any–minute. I can’t wait to see how long your arrogance lasts!”
Just then, the sound of rushing footsteps echoed through the hallway.
Thirty security guards stormed into the HR Department.
Brighde pointed at Robin and the others, shouting hysterically, “Capture these thugs now!”
But as the guards charged forward, they all froze when they saw Robin.
Robin turned to face them slowly. “Do you think they dare to move another inch?”
One by one, the guards at the front dropped to their knees.
Everyone in the room–Ciaran, Brighde, and the HR staff–looked on in disbelief.
They even wondered if Robin used some kind of magic
A few guards on the ground begged, “Mr. Ramsey, we had no idea it was you. Please, show us mercy!”
When they realized Robin was the Divine Drakebane, the rest of the guards dropped to their knees as well, too afraid to even lift their heads.
Though he had only been at Nine Stars for a couple of days, Robin had already left a bloody trail.
He had dismembered Dubh on Kirie Mountain, crushed Taraghlan’s head, and killed Kendrick with a single blow to the heart.
He had also brutally killed Neasan, the CEO’s assistant, draining his blood and leaving no trace of his body.
The mere thought of Divine Drakebane’s return struck fear into the guards. They knew better than to mess with someone like him.
Even the top officials in Elaria’s Cabinet kept their distance, wary of his ruthless nature.
Conall had even issued a warning that anyone foolish enough to provoke Divine Drakebane would face lethal consequences to maintain Elaria’s safety.
Brighde and Ciaran were completely stunned. They had no clue the man before them was the notorious Divine Drakebane.
Ciaran immediately threw himself to the ground before Robin. “Lord Drakebane, I was blind. I didn’t know you were Lord Drakebane-”
“Do you know now?” Robin asked, his expression cold.
“I know now!” Ciaran pleaded, “Please spare me! I was foolish …”
Robin sneered. “I don’t waste my time on garbage like you. Rita, take action.”
Following his order, Rita slashed across Ciaran’s throat with her blade.
What do you think?
