Chapter 14:Sad Ending

"Jeol let my grandchild go!" Alizon shouted.

"Easy now grandmother," Joel laughed.

"We'll surrender only if you let my daughter go,you can't turn her please," Aiden said in tears "Ava can

change her,"

"You really are stupid Dark Lord. Your daughter has already been turned,the only reason she doesn't

look like a feral is because she has the royal blood running through her body. She's a feral and a dark

witch now. Let that sink in," Aniya replied.

"Enough of the chitchat,kill them all," Joel ordered "except Ava,Aiden,Aleister,Alizon and the animals.

Ava shouted with all her might has her world began crumbling. The shout and tears of all her friends

wasn't enough to stop what was happening,she had lost them all,she watched her friends (the vampire

elders) struggle to save themselves,they were indeed brave to the end. The fact that they were greatly

outnumbered didn't stop them from fighting,it was of no use though as they were all killed.Mary was the

first to be killed,her death was fast as she was burnt to ashes after a stake was fired in her heart.

"Is this really the end?"Ava thought to herself

"Hey Dark Lord," Joel spat "open your damn eyes, I know you're not asleep. Too ashamed to accept

defeat?. I'm talking to you," he waved before slapping Aiden hard.

"What are we going to do with them?" Aniya asked.

"We should go to all the empires to possess them"

"That can only be done if Aiden and his twin sister are killed,then the gem will become useless"

"Sweet then,Adrianna kill Addison," Joel ordered.

"I can't,it's not her body remember? Only a white witch can do that," Adrianna replied.

"Alizon," Joel called chuckling "capture her spirit inside this container or I'll kill Aiden right in front of

you"

"Godmother,don't," Aiden shouted.

"The biggest pain of a mother is seeing her child die,Aiden you're like a son to me.I'm sorry," she said

capturing Addison's spirit into the container given to her"

"This one too," Joel said pointing to Emma.

Again Alizon captured Emma's spirit inside a different container.

"Now kill Alizon," Joel ordered Adrianna

"Yes sir," Adrianna said before shooting Alizon twice and setting her body on fire"

"Kill Aleister," Joel said again.

"Be strong Aiden," Aleister murmured as Adrianna beheaded him and burnt his body.

"Here comes the fun part. Ava,watch how your daughter kills your beloved husband. Kill Aiden," Joel

spat.

"Adrianna please," Ava cried trying to move as she was tied down.

"Dark Lord," Adrianna bowed mockingly,"if one dies the other follows," Aiden smiled looking at Ava

remembering Alizon's words when she shared his soul with her.

"We die together," Ava whispered "killed by our own child," she looked down.

"I love youuuu," Aiden said as Joel poured holy water on him before Adrianna stabbed his heart with a

stake and burnt him. He didn’t die immediately though,that was strong he was. The last thing he said

was “Ava.”

"I love you more,"Ava said weakly as she watched her daughter kill her husband. She loved Aiden but

it wasn't enough to save him,was their love story really over? She thought to herself while embracing

the pain that came as she saw nothing but darkness afterwards.
