Chapter 481
Chapter 481
At dinner, due to the crowd, Cordelia didn't bring up the matter of where she'd be staying.
Once dinner was over and the girls had returned to their rooms, Cordelia pulled Ronan aside, "Find me
another place to stay. This isn't appropriate."
"Come with me." Ronan looked serious, there was obviously something on his mind. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
With a sense of unease, Cordelia followed him upstairs to his bedroom.
He sat down on the couch and lit a cigarette. "Who's that man?" He asked.
"Who?"
"How many are there?"
Cordelia was bewildered, "What are you talking about? You're not making any sense."
It seemed as if Ronan suddenly recalled something, "Just last night you met up with Jamie, and now
I'm bringing up another man. You must be quite confused."
Cordelia had no idea how he knew about her meeting with Jamie, but it wasn't surprising given Ronan's
resourcefulness.
His sarcastic comments were getting to her and she was getting mad, "Who are you talking about?"
Ronan looked at Cordelia for a few seconds before uttering a name, "Eason."
Cordelia's hand tightened into a fist. She frowned and said, "You've been investigating me?"
"Seems like there really is such a person." Ronan stared hard at Cordelia.
"Yes, there is."
"Who is he?"
Cordelia felt a bit repulsed. Not only did he investigate her, but he also came to interrogate her.
Moreover, after the divorce, he wanted to sleep together. Was his chauvinism going through the roof?
"If you've been investigating me, didn't you find out who he is?" Cordelia was furious.
Ronan suddenly stood up, moving forward he grabbed Cordelia by the waist. She was forced to kneel
on the couch, between his legs. Unsteady on the couch, Cordelia instinctively reached for Ronan's
shoulders.
"I didn’t find out, so tell me yourself." He stared at Cordelia.
Cordelia turned her head, remaining silent.
Clearly, Ronan was losing his patience. After three seconds of silence, Ronan suddenly picked her up
and tossed her onto the bed.
A flurry of kisses rained down on Cordelia's face, neck, and body. He ripped through Cordelia's clothes.
The pain was unbearable.
Ronan had some patience initially, but he had been repressing himself for three years. Plus, she had
just returned and met Jamie. And in England, she had another close male friend.
Seeing Cordelia kneel on the couch, with her delicate skin, expressive eyes, and her breathing, all
these were too much for him.
Cordelia wanted to say something, but her words were sucked back into her throat by him. Her
attempts at resistance were futile, her punches landing in his palm, and the most she managed to utter
were a few "bastard" from the corner of her lips.
Ronan was like a tireless machine that night, venting on Cordelia. After a night of passion, in the
morning, Cordelia fell into a deep sleep. When Ronan got up, he glanced at her, not a single part of her
body was left untouched.
He went downstairs.
Sally and Sean were already up. "Professor Evans, where's Ms. Haselwood?" Sally asked with a pair of
mischievous eyes.
"Dad, where's mom?" Callum was sitting at the dining table.
"Ms. Haselwood was tired from her bus ride and meetings yesterday. Let her sleep a bit more. What
are your plans for today?" Ronan asked Sally and Sean.
"Hmm, according to the schedule, we're supposed to return to school today." Sally was more outgoing
and did most of the talking with Ronan.
Even though Sally spoke respectfully, she was thinking: Sean and I slept all night and woke up
refreshed. Why can't Ms. Haselwood? Did she do something last night? It was more likely she did
something last night. However, she didn't expect that Ronan had been like a stud all night.
