Chapter 263

Cordelia was at a loss for words. Who was he to dictate her life that way? She was supposed to study

abroad the following January, not go to work at Lumos Enterprises. Cordelia's hand, holding her fork

tightly, was shaking. "I'm not going!" she declared.

opposite her. His eyes fell on the broken pendant on the table.
