Chapter Twenty Nine

I was beginning to worry that Tracy won't come back, what if her parents refuse?, What if she had a

change of mind, what if something had happened to them on their way, I was about to call her when I

heard the car's horn.

"Thank God," I said dropping the phone I already picked.

Micheal and Michelle came in first and when they saw they saw me, they rushed over to hug me.

"Hello, Daddy!" They greeted me as I hugged her

"Hello, my prince and my princess, how was school today?"

"Fine thank you."

"Grandpa taught us how to paint!" Michelle said Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

"Yes, we both got a paintbrush." Micheal chipped in.

"Wow, did you tell Grandpa thank you?" I asked and they both stared at me blankly

"You didn't?" I asked and they shook their head

"Next time someone gives you something or does anything for you, you say thank you, you say what?"

"Thank you." They said and patted both of them.

"Where is mummy?" I asked since I didn't see her.

"She's bringing stuff from the car "

"Oh!, You both stay put let me go and help your mum, okay?." I said and they nodded

I went outside and found out some of the guards were already helping her with the stuff.

"Welcome," I said carrying one of the bags.

"Yeah thank you." She replied

The guards helped us in taking the bags upstairs to the room the kids slept in when they came the last

time.

"Time has gone already so how about we order pizza," Tracy said after the guards left.

"Sure."

"We would be having pizza for dinner" Tracy announced to the kids and they started jubilating

"Look at them jubilating like you are giving them a million-dollar dear," I said and Tracy chuckled.

We ordered pizza and it was delivered in no time, we had dinner then the kids watched the Television

while and Tracy unpacked the things in the room the kids would be sleeping.

"I think we should get them bunk beds?" I said and Tracy nodded.

"How about we just redecorate the whole place," I said and she nodded again

"Tracy" I called stopping what I was doing

"What?"

"Is there something wrong?"

"No."

"Then why are you acting like this?"

"Like what?"

"Tracy!, You know what I'm talking about, I feel like you are giving me attitude."

"No, I'm not, I'm just very tired." She said not stopping what she is doing.

"I feel like there is more to it."

"Alex, I'm fine, maybe a little tired and lost in thought but then I'm fine and I'm not giving you attitude."

"Why are you lost in thought?"

"Alex, today I'm feeling like an adult, would you believe my parents never protested when I told them I

and the kids are moving in with you?"

"Oh."

"Yes, they didn't and the whole adulthood is just hitting me fully." She said and I held her hands

"Tee, I understand you, but then I want you to know you have me beside you, we'd face everything

together," I said and she looked into my eyes.

"Thank you."

"You have such beautiful eyes Tracy," I said then proceed to kiss her eyes one after the other.

"And your nose," I said then I kissed her nose.

"Your lips?, Very cute," I said placing my lips on hers, I kissed her long and hard, she held on to my T-

shirt as my hands slid into her hair, she responded pretty well tightening get a hold on my T-shirt.

"I love you," I said against her lips and gave her one final kiss.

I released her then I got back to arranging the kid's cloth in the wardrobe.

"So you are taking the kids to school tomorrow?"

"Yeah." She said then cleared her throat.

"Take my car, one of the guards would wash it before you are ready to leave."

"Okay."

"So you are sleeping with the kids?"

"Yes."

"Why don't you just pick another room? The one beside kid's room."

"Oh okay."

We finished up and we tucked the kids in, Tracy allowed me to read the kid's bedtime story and when

we were sure they were asleep we left their room.

"Let's have coffee," I said as soon as we were outside the kid's room.

"What?, Coffee? No way, no coffee." She said moving towards the room beside the kid's room.

"Why are you moving so fast?" I asked following her.

"Because I remember what happened the last time you said we should have coffee."

"Come on, we are having coffee this time around."

"Coffee?" She asked

"Yes, coffee," I said but she shook her head.

"No, I don't trust you." She said entering and shutting the door before I could react, I chuckled, I went to

bed satisfied that everything was falling in place.

I woke up early the next morning, I watched as Tracy dressed the kids up and managed breakfast at

the same time, we all ate breakfast, then she took the kids to school.

I took my medicine and I started browsing the internet for kid's room theme, I got tired then I started

playing games, I got tired of that too then I called James.

"Hey, James."

"Hey, my man, are you back home from the land of sick now."

"I'm a home crazy dude."

"Thank God you didn't die."

"Yeah thank God, I called to tell you Tracy and the kids are at home with me now."

"At home?, Wait you mean they moved in with you?"

"Yeah"

"Wow man, that is a good thing, now I can come to see my god kids."

"Yeah," I said then I heard the doorbell ring.

"Man I have to go, someone, is at the door."

"Oh, okay man, bye." He said then I hung up, I was wondering who was at the door until I opened the

door, I was shocked to see Nora at the door.
