Chapter 258
Watching the closed door of the Sutton Mansion, Kieran abruptly set down his fork.
Momentarily shocked, Nancy asked, "Mr. Sutton, aren't you eating?"NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
Kieran had barely touched his food. Rising from his seat, he said icily, "I've lost my appetite." With that, Kieran headed straight upstairs.
Jarrett shook his head at Nancy. Kieran only ever lost his cool over matters concerning Freya.
Kieran had chosen a quiet apartment around Summit University. The U-Haul driver helped Freya move her belongings up before leaving.
It was a modest two-bedroom apartment, not even reaching a thousand square feet, but it was enough for her alone.
However, Freya took in the apartment's layout and size and couldn't help but remark. For a big-shot CEO like Kieran, he sure was tight-fisted.
After getting everything sorted, Freya sprawled on the bed. Given her current condition, any movement risked worsening her injuries. Not only her arm but her leg had sustained damage to the muscles and bones, so the doctor's advice was to lie in bed for a month without moving. After a month, she could start some rehabilitative training.
But Freya glanced at the calendar on her phone. In ten days, she had exams.
In her previous life, she was excellent in high school, which allowed her to enter Summit University upon graduation. Later, she devoted all her attention to Kieran, neglecting her university courses. Although she learned a lot about management while working at the Sutton Group, that didn't directly translate to managing a company in university exams.
Freya was feeling a headache coming on. One only realized what he needed when it was time to use it.
Even after being reborn and spending all her time in the library, she had forgotten much of her university knowledge. It seemed she needed to figure out how to pass her exams and get that diploma. Barely alive, Freya dragged herself to the school library the following day.
Luna couldn't help but click her
tongue in surprise upon seeing how badly Freya had been beaten at the police station. "Reya, when did you become so passionate about studying? Even like this, you still come to the library!"
"As you can see, I've started loving books now." Freya bent her head, flipping through the study materials that might appear in the exam.
University knowledge was like a vast ocean. Aiming for a passing grade was a tall order for her.
Luna said, "Just do your best alone! Why drag me into this? Don't be so competitive."
Luna was a slacker, attending Summit University purely for a diploma.
Freya knew she couldn't rely on
Luna for knowledge, so she rested her chin on her hands and said, “I
have no choice. I've fallen too famet
behind in my courses. If I can't
graduate, these years will have been for nothing."
"That's true. You used to have Kieran's connections. The dean would've just handed you a diploma. Now, without Kieran as your fiancé, it'd be a miracle if the dean didn't kick you out." en
Freya had taken a long hiatus from school following her father's death.
Back at school, Freya missed too much coursework and would have to repeat the year if she failed her exams.
But at Summit University, there was no such luxury as repeating a year. One would be out if he failed, which accounted for their 100% graduation rate.
At that moment, looking puzzled, Luna said to Freya, "Wait, what exams are you looking at?"
"Huh?" Freya glanced down and said, "Aren't these last year's final exam papers?"
"No." Luna pointed at a line on the paper, saying, "These are real questions from the finance postgraduate entrance exam. How come you've written so much?"
