Arya pushed the door to Ray’s room open and scanned everywhere..

“Ray”

“I don’t think he’s here.. the room is clearly empty” Vanessa uttered..

Arya turned to her with a raised brow “I know him quite well, I’m sure he is here somewhere”

“Well, so where is he now?” Kyle questioned..

Arya tied her hair into a bun while maintaining eye contact with Kyle..

She suddenly went on her fours and crawled under Ray’s bed leaving Kyle and Vanessa speechless..

“What the hell?” Vanessa said in unbelief..

Arya smiled when she crawled under the bed, she reached out her hand and touched Ray’s hair gently…

“How do you always find me Arya?” Ray asked with a pout..

Kyle and Vanessa were startled when they heard Ray’s voice underneath the bed..

“Son? what are you doing under your bed? come out dear”

Ray stroked Conny softly with a sad look of down cast..

“Give me a minute Mr Anderson, Ray is upset” Arya replied back..

Kyle snorted, he gently went on his knees and crawled under the bed..

Arya who wasn’t expecting his sudden appearance bumped her head against his..

“Ouch! are you trying to break my head!” She screamed out massaging her head..

Kyle stared at his son who had a small frown on his face..

“What is wrong Ray?”

Ray turned his gaze to Arya “I’m really sad.. my friends brag a lot to me about their awesome parents and I feel really bad because you and daddy argue a lot”

Vanessa pinched her arm when she heard what the little devil just said..

Kyle and Arya exchanged brief glances “Well.. you do have awesome parents too Ray.. at least I’m enough for you, I don’t know about her” Kyle murmured..

Arya shot him a look “What do you mean by her? do you think that I don’t care enough for Ray just like you do?” Arya fired..

“isn’t it obvious?”

Ray’s eyes dimmed, “See what I’m talking about? you don’t act like a married couple would actually do, you argue over every little things”

Arya released a breath, she was really uncomfortable with this position..

She opened her palm and stretched it towards Ray who accepted it without hesitating..

“Come out honey and I promise you that we will talk about this”

Ray nodded his head and crawled out as soon as Arya crawled out..

Arya arched a brow when she saw Vanessa still standing in the room…

“Well? it’s a family moment now… so please see yourself out” Arya said with a slanted grin on her lips..

She was glad to see the anger written all over Vanessa’s face..

“What do you mean by that? Kyle and Ray are like family to me” Vanessa answered back in anger..

“No! we’re not!” Ray fired..

She was the exact reason he went into hiding, he saw her when he was on his way to his dad..

He knew well that she was here to cause trouble for Arya and Kyle always believed whatever she says..

Vanessa forced a smile at him, only she knew how hard she wanted to strangle him..

“Didn’t I teach you not to talk back at elders Ray.. it appears your new mum hasn’t taught you about that yet” Vanessa mumbled which drew a deep frown on Ray’s forehead..

“Only Arya teaches me that! not you! daddy please tell her to go away I’m sick of looking at her ugly face!”..

Arya placed her palm over his mouth to hush him, her little one was fighting for her sake..

“That’s enough Ray.. haven’t I told you not to talk back at your elders?”

Ray pouted “I’m sorry Arya”

Kyle cleared his throat when felt left out, he took Ray by his hands and led him to sit on his bed..

“See yourself out Vanessa” Kyle uttered without sparing her a look..

Vanessa swallowed hard, she snapped her burning gaze to Arya and then to Ray before going out..

“Does your arm still hurt” Kyle asked to receive a nod from Ray..

“Just a little, Arya come sit here” He patted the space beside him..

Arya reluctantly sat next to him, and there was a minute of silence in the room..

“Umm Ray..

“Don’t say anything daddy I’m the only one allowed to speak for now..”

Arya muffled her small laughs which didn’t escape Kyle’s sensitive ears..

He shot her a glare “Stop being dumb it’s not that funny”

“Excuse me?”

Ray placed both hands under his chin “this is the reason I asked you not to talk daddy, you are the cause of the fights between you and Arya”

“Is that how you wanna put it son?”

“Yes!” came Ray’s curt and fast reply..

Arya ruffled his hair gently “Tell us what you want dear, I don’t want you to get me worried again by disappearing like that”..

“I want you both together”

Bryan walked into Arya’s delight and was a bit surprised to see the flow of things in here..

“Kyle’s wife sure has a nice taste, I can’t wait to meet her in person”..

As soon as he was about to turn, he knocked off some plates off a waitress hand and ended up staining his white shirt..

“Arghh.. are you blind or something?!” Bryan yelled and pulled off his black coat..

Chloe who was just about to apologize raised her head when she heard the familiar voice..

“Oh.. it’s just you!” She murmured and crotched down picking up the broken piece of plates..

Bryan’s brows drew together, he cursed his fate for running into her this way..

“Don’t you ever get tired of getting into my way? I think you did this on purpose, you’re trying to ruin my reputation and image”

Chloe rose up to her feet and smirked “Well Mr.. I didn’t run into your path.. I should be asking you that, what the hell do you want?” she fired back and started walking away..

Bryan smiled calmly at the couple who were waving at him..

“Enjoy your meal” He whispered gently and ran after Chloe..

Chloe dumped the broken plates into the waste bin and turned to him..

“Stop following me around like a shadow.. I’m not interested in whatever you have to offer”

Bryan was perplexed, he has never met a lady like herself before now..

“What do you mean? this is a public place isn’t it? and besides that! give me back my car key”

A smug smile appeared on Chloe’s lips “If I’m not mistaken you’re the Alexander’s heir, I’m sure a little car like that can’t actually bother you so much, unless you have other motives”..

Bryan flicked her forehead and smirked when she whimpered in pain “You silly lady! that car belongs to my girlfriend! I wouldn’t have bothered if it were to be mine! I’d have happily given it to you, at least I helped the poor”

“Oh well it’s still the same, get her a new one, problem solved!” Chloe declared..

“I have to speak to the owner of this restaurant! I’ll make sure you lose your job if you don’t give me back my car key”

Bryan’s chest heaved up and down, he felt like screaming and crying out at the same time, this lady was one hell of a trouble..

“There’s nothing wrong to admit that you have a crush on me.. I might consider your feelings in about four months time if I’m chanced”

Chloe walked away from the counter and stood in front of him..

“So you do think that I’m into you? well let me clear that misconception of yours” she said with a smirk..

Bryan’s eyes narrowed down at her, he didn’t trust her at all..

Chloe cleared her throat a bit and before Bryan could understand what was running in her mind…

“I’ve told you times without number Mr Alexander! I’m not interested in you at all please stop stalking me!”

Bryan’s eyes widened when everyone’s attention was diverted to them, he sudden pulled her to himself and clamped her mouth shut with his palm..

“Stop this!”

Chloe bit his palm which he retracted quickly “Are you nuts?!”

“This is just the beginning! stay away from me, and stop threatening me Mr Alexander because I’ll never have anything to do with you!”

She walked closer to him “Now let me see you get out of this mess!”

Bryan’s lips pulled up into a sly grin, he swiftly pulled her back to himself and claimed her lips in front of everyone..
