Killian and Hailey got along well, they were also often together. The girl has also resigned from her work to move to Killian but until now the young man has not given her a job.

“It’s kinda embarrassing because you pay my University bills and then I can’t help you,” Hailey exclaimed.

He quickly took the hand of Hailey. “Just trust me okay? I want you to focus in your school so don’t think too much that will give you a stress.”

She could do nothing but nod and agree with what Killian said. Killian always reminds her to focus on her studies and not to think about work first so that she will not get pressure.

Since they admitted their feelings towards each other, their relationship went well. Even though they often get into trouble because of Killian’s friend Premiere who first confesses how he feels to the girl.

But every time she talked to Killian’s friend, the girl always tells Premiere that maybe she’s just mistaken her feelings for her. She saw the guy once in a mall with her best friend Jade. She was surprised because since her friend return in the Philippines they had not met yet and she was even more surprised to see them together in the mall knowing that her friend is a brat. So she thinks that there may be an intermediary between the two.

And she was glad that her suspicion was right. Premiere has a crush on her but Jade was the one he really loved. The two met when they were in another country to attend a business conference and they became very close to each other.

On the other hand there was a woman walking around the mall, while looking she noticed Killian so she quickly went to the restaurant where it was.

When she enter in the restaurant she wear her sweetest smile but suddenly gone when she notice that Killian is not alone and has a company. She walked to their table.

“Hi Killian,” She greeted her

At the same time, the two looked at her.

“C-chandria?” Killian exclaimed

“How are you? I miss you!  And who is she?” The woman said.

“As you can see I’m better now. And this is Hailey my girlfriend.” the young man said smiling

The smile disappeared from the woman’s lips and she turned to Hailey. “Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Chandria Killian’s fiancee.” She introduced herself

“Ex fiancee Chandria. We haven’t been together in a long time,” Killian corrected and held Hailey’s hand.

“Killian I just want to apologize for what happened a year ago. I have a reason, our family business went bankrupt so I need to go home because my family needs me, we have just we recovered a month ago I hope you understand. My only mistake is I didn’t tell you. ” Chandria explained

Killian sighed. “You know what I do understand your reason and that’s okay with me. It’s all in the past now. I’m happy now and I’ve seen the woman I’ll love. I just want to thank you because if you hadn’t left me then I would not met Hailey. ” Killian smiled

The girl bowed down because she felt embarrassed, she thought that when Killian found out the truth they would get back together but she was wrong. There is another woman who makes the man she loves happy.

“If you don’t mind Chan, we’re leaving because we’re still going somewhere. By the way nice to see you again.” said Killian and turned to Hailey “Let’s go baby.”

Chandria nodded and just stared at the door of the restaurant where the two came out.

When they got out of the restaurant Hailey was still silent and it didn’t escape Killian’s sight. So he stopped walking and faced Hailey.

“Is there a problem?” he asked the girl

“N-nothing,” She replied

The young man’s eyebrows rose because of the girl’s answer.

“Since we left the restaurant you were silent. Tell me Hailey what’s wrong? Is it about Chandria” He asked seriously

The girl sighed before nodding.

Killian touched her cheek. “I told you before that what Chandria and I have is over. You’re the one I love now so you don’t have to worry.” Killian’s assurance

“I’m just afraid, what if I’m not really the one you love and still your ex fiancee? Especially now that she’s back and I feel like she still loves you.”

“Even if she still loves me, nothing will change. You are the one I love. So don’t think about it. Chandria is part of my past while you are my present and future.” said by the young man

Hailey smiled at what he said. He just wants assurance that Killian really loves her especially now that the woman he first loved is back.

It’s hard to compete with the person she loved before her, but she trust Killian and she believe that the guy is telling the truth.

She is hoping that they won’t break up and the relationship they have will be even stronger especially now that Chandria is here again and she knows it won’t be easy for her. She knew the woman wanted to take Killian back and she couldn’t let that to happen.
