Chapter 14
Amelia’s Point Of View.
I bit my lower lip because of the irritation. That demonic man’s face is really thick!
Why did he send something like this?! Did he think I didn’t have the money to buy something like this for my kids?! He has no right to belittle me!Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
This is ridiculous!
The paper crumpled in my hand before looking seriously at the maid causing me to see the fear in her eyes. “Throw all that away, I don’t want to see all that here inside the mansion,” I murmured seriously while looking at her.
The maid was surprised. “Oh my, ma’am! Really? These toys are so expensive, maybe they came from abroad. It would be a shame to just throw them away,” said the maid.
I frowned. “I don’t care! Throw all that away! It’s useless and I can replace those-” I was cut off when the twins arrived.
“Mom! What’s that big box?!”
I took a deep breath when I heard Aria’s voice, I couldn’t continue what I was going to say. I sighed again before looking at her and smiling, she ignored me because she was already looking at the contents of the big box.
“Mom! A lots of toys, mom!” she shouted and took the big dollhouse inside the box.
“Where is this from, mom?” Caleb asked as he looked inside the box. “Is it a gift from auntie Sandy?”
I trembled. “No, it doesn’t matter who it’s from,” I answered seriously while looking at Aria opening the dollhouse she took.
Suddenly the maid spoke. “Ma’am, I thought it was going to be-”
“Nevermind, leave it here,” I cut her off and she nodded and left.
I didn’t say a word while watching Aria play.
“Caleb! Let’s play!” when she called Caleb, Caleb took a toy car and hit Aria’s dollhouse and it quickly overturned.
“Caleb!” Aria shouted and I saw Caleb’s soft laugh.
The annoyance I felt in my heart from earlier while watching Caleb and Aria playing. I know that when Aria finds out that I’m going to throw these toys away, she’ll cry, even if I want to throw them away because I hate the man who gave them away, I can’t.
First of all, why does he need to give something like this?! And how did he know our address?! My anger towards him only increased! Doesn’t he feel any shame at all?!
It’s a good thing we’re leaving the mansion, I’ll make sure he won’t see us again because we’re moving to a condo. I know I will miss this mansion but now I realize it is better that we move because I don’t want my children to grow up always seeing and hearing fights.
I don’t want them to experience what I experienced. And I will never show it to them.
Chase’s Point Of View.
“What the hell did you write on that damn sticky note?!” I shouted angrily at Ryan who now couldn’t move in front of me because I was holding my gun while pointing at his face.
“Damn you! Let go of that gun!” he shouted in fear and I quickly drew the gun causing him to turn pale and he looked at me pleadingly.
“Answer me!” I shouted angrily.
“How can I answer your question when your gun is pointed at me! You might end up shooting me if you find out what I wrote on that note!” he screamed in fear as he hid on the desk in my office.
My jaw clenched. “I’d rather shoot you if you don’t tell me!” I shouted.
I thought of sending a big box containing expensive toys for Caleb and Aria. I don’t know why I did that, but I had to get them both to the mansion so mom and dad could meet them, I also had to get Amelia.
“Why don’t you just ask for Amelia’s permission for Caleb and Aria to go to your mom and dad’s mansion?!” he shouted and I looked at him evilly.
“Did you think it was that easy?! You haven’t met that dragon girl yet so you can say that! That girl is so mad at me, do you think she will allow what I want to happen?!” I said annoyed. “It’s impossible for her to agree.”
“Then she must have thrown away the toys you sent!”
“I’ll banish you too if you don’t tell me what you wrote on that note!” I shouted.
“Alright alright! I’ll say it!” he shouted and sneered at me. “What I wrote there was “For my babies only, play them unless you want to be my baby too. . . ”
“WHAT THE FUCK, RYAN?!”
