The Billionaire's Forbidden Longing

Chapter 204 Yasmin is Pregnant

As Alexander wrapped up his speech, the room buzzed with whispers.

"Seriously? Punishing a kid for being too smart? The Bennett family must be full of psychos."

"Totally! Ms. Bennett is a genius. If she were in my family, we'd treat her like gold. Who in their right mind would hit her?"

Yasmin rolled her eyes at the chatter. "Oh, please. Allison's always been a sneaky little witch, charming everyone she meets! She's nothing but a tramp..."

Cleo didn't waste a second. She stormed over and slapped Yasmin. "You're the tramp, causing drama at Allison's engagement party. Who do you think you are? Just because Oliver dumped you, you think you can ruin Allison? You want proof? Here!"

Cleo whipped out her phone and projected a video onto the screen. It showed Yasmin and Oliver at a hotel.

"Take a good look. This is what shameless looks like. You have the nerve to spread lies about Allison being pregnant? Are you going to deny you're the one who's actually pregnant?" Cleo shot back.

Cleo was always ready for a fight, and she never came unprepared.

Yasmin's face went white, and she stared at Allison in shock. "You had me followed, Allison? How could you be so cruel!"

Cleo, fed up, moved to slap Yasmin again but was stopped by Landon. His grip was like iron, so Cleo reluctantly stopped struggling.

"Let me go. I'm not about to hit a pregnant woman," Cleo snapped.

Landon rolled his eyes and let her go. "Don't make things harder for Alexander."

Cleo scoffed. "I'm the one who brought the evidence. Don't blame Allison. You think she's tracking you? Please. That footage was taken by paparazzi and it's already online."

Guests quickly pulled out their phones and saw the trending topic: #BennettGroupHeiressScandal-Confirmed Pregnant!

Yasmin was terrified.

Blair, equally stunned, turned to Allison. "Allison, do you hate us that much? To go to these lengths to ruin us? She's your sister!"

"Enough!" Joe, who had been quiet, finally spoke up. "Blair, you come from a respectable family. You used to be sensible. How did you become so foolish? You know Allison is your biological daughter, yet you treat her worse than an enemy. You harmed her, wished her dead, and tried to destroy her reputation. And you dare call yourself her mother?"noveldrama

Joe and Blair knew each other because Joe had connections with Blair's grandfather. Blair was shocked that he would defend Allison. "Mr. Watson, I was only trying to set Allison straight. She was on the wrong path, and I was trying to correct her."

Joe sneered, "Correct her? Or drive her to despair? Everyone here can see the truth. Five years ago, you and Preston sold her overseas. Did you ever consider she was your daughter? If I hadn't brought her back, she'd be dead. Now that she's finally found happiness, you're here to ruin it. I've never seen a mother like you!"

The guests were horrified. The idea that Allison had been sold overseas was shocking. They looked at Blair with disgust, unable to understand her actions.

"Is the Bennett family insane? How could they treat their own child like this? Blair must be out of her mind."

The Walker family was also present. Declan approached their table. "Oliver, you need to address this. Your actions have ruined Yasmin's reputation, and now she's pregnant. Your family can't ignore this. And really, Oliver, you couldn't even afford a five-star hotel? You had to go to a cheap one and get caught?"

Oliver, embarrassed and cornered, stood up and dragged Yasmin towards the exit.

Blair tried to stop him. "Oliver, what are you doing? Yasmin is carrying your child. You need to take responsibility."

Yasmin, seeing a glimmer of hope, clung to Oliver. "You can't abandon me, Oliver. I'm carrying your baby! If you don't take responsibility, I'll end it all. Two lives gone-how will your family handle that?"

Oliver, used to flings, had never been in such a mess. His parents looked at Yasmin with contempt, wishing she would disappear.

"I'll take responsibility for the child. Blair, don't worry, I'll make sure Yasmin is satisfied. But today is the Carter family's engagement party. My family and the Carter family have a long-standing relationship. Your actions are not just damaging Allison's reputation; they're threatening our families' ties. If my family's interests are harmed, Yasmin will get nothing from us."

Blair, seething, watched as Oliver dragged Yasmin away.

She turned back to Allison, her face twisted with rage. "Are you satisfied now, Allison? You've gone too far. Don't think the Carter family's support makes you untouchable. If anything happens to Yasmin, I won't let you off!"

"Mrs. Bennett, if you're mentally unstable, seek help. Don't come here and act crazy," a guest interjected.

"Exactly! Allison did nothing wrong, yet you blame her for everything. You claim her achievements are fake? Let me tell you, when Mr. Shaw was critically injured, Ms. Bennett did the surgery alone. My father, a top surgeon, couldn't save him, but Ms. Bennett did!"

This revelation stunned the guests. Glenn Langley, the son of renowned surgeon Edgar Langley, had spoken, adding to Allison's credibility.

"Ms. Bennett performed surgery at such a young age? That's incredible."

"Why not? Allison was my student at fourteen, had her medical license by sixteen, and

is now the youngest PhD graduate from the National Medical Academy. Any objections?" Joe stated firmly.
