The Billionaire's Forbidden Longing

Chapter 188 The Lewis Family's Daughter

Allison stood at the door, her face set in a hard line.

Alexander came over and wrapped an arm around her waist. "Don't let it get to you. You just recovered, and now you're fighting again. Allison, you're really something else. By the way, Mr. Hall called. He wants Felix sent to him. What do you think?"

Allison took a deep breath. They were all survivors of some pretty rough times. Felix might seem unreliable, but he had saved Allison's life once. She was just frustrated with him and felt bad for Sabrina.

"Fine, we'll send him over after the beating. Felix needs a good lesson!" Allison declared.

Just as she spoke, the elevator dinged, and someone limped out.

Allison left Alexander's embrace and hurried over. "Jake, what are you doing here? You shouldn't be walking around with that leg!"

She naturally took Jake Sherman's arm and draped it over her shoulder.

Landon and Hunter exchanged glances and then looked at Alexander, whose expression had darkened considerably.

"I heard Felix screwed up again. I'm going to kill that idiot!" Jake fumed.

At a critical moment, Felix had almost caused a disaster because of a woman. This wasn't the first time he'd been so foolish. Jake was furious; all his hard work was nearly undone because Felix fell for some sweet talk. Felix deserved a beating.

"We're already giving him a beating. You don't need to worry about it. Felix will be sent to Carl afterward. Do you want to come along?" Allison asked.

Jake nodded. "I'll go with you. I need to talk to Carl about this. By the way, are you

really going to start university here? Carl's elite academy is still waiting for you."

Allison didn't respond. Carl had suggested she go to the elite academy to teach, not to study, but she wasn't interested in teaching at the moment.

"I'm staying here. I want to do some research for a few years. We have too many enemies right now; it's better to keep a low profile," Allison replied.

Jake smiled and nodded. Among their group, Allison was the smartest, so they always followed her lead.

The two of them continued talking, forgetting about Alexander, who was growing increasingly annoyed. He walked over, pulled Allison back to his side, and kicked Landon, handing Jake over to him.

Landon and Jake exchanged looks of mutual disdain.

Declan had finished giving Felix a thorough beating. Felix looked pitiful, with his green hair making the sight even more laughable.

Allison squatted down beside him. "Felix, do you know what you did wrong?"

Felix trembled at the sight of Allison. "I... I know. I shouldn't have trusted people so easily."

Allison looked at Cleo. "Is the bathtub ready?"

At the mention of the bathtub, Felix's fear intensified. "Allison, I'm sorry! I know I was wrong! Please!"

Allison was unmoved. "After the bath, shave his head. Three months of intense training."

Cleo dragged Felix to the bathroom, and soon his screams echoed through the suite. "Help! They're killing me!" Felix screamed.

Hunter, curious, peeked in but quickly retreated, looking pale. "Alexander, Allison is brutal. You know that?"

Brutal or not, Allison was destined to be his future wife. As long as he was by her side, she could unleash her fierceness without a care in the world.

"So don't provoke her. I won't be able to save you," Alexander said.

Landon chuckled, and Jake leaned against the wall, smiling.

Hunter backed away in fear. Felix had it rough-his body was covered in bruises and welts, and after being dunked in the bathtub, his skin had turned a sickly purple. Cleo recorded everything on her phone. She even had one of the bodyguards livestream it to Carl, ensuring Felix's humiliation reached a global audience.

Allison's anger was palpable. Felix was a repeat offender, never learning his lesson. Despite having someone as wonderful as Sabrina by his side, he constantly fell for the charms of random women. It was totally reasonable to be mad about this.

Alexander wrapped his arm around Allison's waist as she emerged. "Feeling better? If not, let me handle it."

Allison leaned into him. "Alexander, I'm really angry."

"I know," Alexander replied.

"I know I can be a bit rough sometimes, but I'm really just a softie at heart!" Allison demanded.

Alexander laughed softly, his eyes filled with affection. The others felt a shiver run down their spines at the sight.

"Get a room, you two!" Declan teased, only to be kicked by Landon.

"Let's get an ambulance for the injured. My team will be here soon," Landon said.

"Sabrina!" Allison called out.

"Allison!"

Sabrina, looking miserable, burst into tears as Allison hugged her. "I never want to see him again. I'm leaving and never coming back!"

Allison sighed. Sabrina was such a good person, yet Felix didn't appreciate her.

"Your parents are still in Emberlyn. It's not safe for you there. Why don't you stay here?

I can help you find a school," Allison offered.

Sabrina's tears stopped. She had been feeling lost and unsure of where to go. Allison's suggestion gave her hope.

"Can I really stay?" Sabrina confirmed.

Allison nodded and wiped Sabrina's tears. "I can get you a recommendation to Stellar University for graduate studies. It shouldn't be too hard for you."

Sabrina smiled through her tears and hugged Allison. "I love you, Allison!"

Allison had never told Alexander about Sabrina's background, and he hadn't

investigated her either, seeing no need to.

But when Allison handed him Sabrina's file, he was stunned.

"Sabrina Lewis? From the Lewis family?" Alexander asked.

The Lewis family had a huge presence internationally, way bigger than their impact at

home.
