Chapter 156 Cameron's Scheme
Allison's words put Teddy on high alert. While others might not get the importance of this competition, Teddy and Allison sure did.
Thanks to Allison's heads-up, Teddy went through the participant list with a fine-tooth comb. And yep, he spotted some sketchy stuff that set off alarm bells.
After being stuck in bed for three days, Allison finally got the green light to move around.
Liliana and Jessa kept whipping up tasty dishes for her, making Allison feel a bit awkward.
"Allison, I made this special tonic for you. Liliana and I are having some too. Gotta keep up with our supplements!" Jessa said.
Allison nodded, feeling touched as she watched Jessa and Liliana eat with her.
"Jessa, your complexion looks a bit off. Have you been having digestive issues lately?" Allison asked.
Jessa looked surprised. "You can tell just by looking? Allison, do you know medicine too?"
Allison nodded, smiling as she sipped her tonic. "After we eat, I'll check both you and Liliana. There are some meds that can help."
Jessa and Liliana were thrilled. After eating, they plopped down on the couch for Allison to check them out. Jessa's issues were minor; years of living abroad and a bad diet had messed with her digestion. Allison prescribed some meds, making Jessa super happy. Having a doctor in the family was a real win.
When Allison examined Liliana, she frowned, making Liliana nervous.
"Is it serious?" Liliana asked, worried.
Allison shook her head. "No, but the treatment will be complex. One of your fallopian tubes is blocked, and there are issues with your ovaries. I'll need to treat you for a while and combine the treatment with medication."
Liliana was impressed. "I've had trouble conceiving Mia because of this. I've been treating it for years with no luck. Allison, will this treatment work?"
"Yes. I can help clear the blockages. If left untreated, it could get worse," Allison assured her.
Aiden, hearing about Allison's medical skills, joined them. After checking him out, Allison wrote a prescription.
"Aiden, you need to stop sneaking drinks. Your blood pressure is high, and your heart's not in great shape. Drinking is bad for your liver. You've had digestive issues recently, right? Drinking in your condition is a bad idea," Allison said, making Aiden feel embarrassed and guilty.
Liliana was the first to get upset. "Dad, you can't keep sneaking drinks! Do you remember how much pain you were in after your surgery? Allison, make sure he gets the strictest treatment!" Allison laughed, amused by Aiden's twitching mustache.
"Aiden's leg needs treatment and medication soaks," she said, writing another prescription. The butler quickly went to buy the necessary herbs from a well-stocked pharmacy Allison recommended. When Alexander got home, he was hit by the smell of medicine. It felt like the house had turned into a pharmacy.
Aiden was relaxing on the couch, soaking his feet after a treatment from Allison. Liliana and Jessa were also enjoying their own beauty treatments, soaking their feet.

Alexander took off his coat and looked at them with a mix of amusement and exasperation. "What's going on here? Why are you all soaking your feet?"
Aiden chuckled. "This is all Allison's doing. She's making sure we're all in tip-top shape. Alexander, you've married a real gem!"
Alexander walked over to Allison and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "You shouldn't be overdoing it. Dr. Phillips told you to rest, remember?"
Allison smiled at him, looking much healthier than before.
Alexander kissed her forehead in front of everyone, making Allison blush. Alexander, however, acted like it was the most natural thing in the world and then went to check on dinner. Aiden and Liliana were used to Alexander's shameless displays of affection by now.
After dinner, Allison filled Alexander in on the competition.
Alexander frowned. "Are you sure you're up for it? If not, just drop out. It's not that big of a deal."
Allison rolled her eyes at him. "I want to see what Cameron is up to. Why would he join such a minor competition?"
Alexander's expression darkened. "James found out that Cameron is part of the judging panel. He'll have access to the questions."
Allison nodded. "I have a hunch about what Cameron is planning. I've got some help lined up, and it's going to be quite a show."

Alexander didn't want Allison involved, especially since she hadn't fully recovered and Cameron was dangerous. "Tell me what you need done. I'll handle it."
Allison appreciated Alexander's protective nature and had some tasks for him. She handed him some documents.novelbin
Alexander's eyes widened. "You're amazing! This could solve the problem at its root! But are you sure about this?"
Allison nodded. "For years, international organizations have tried to uncover the Simmons family's secrets but couldn't. Their secrets are locked in a complex system, and no one has been able to crack it." Alexander nodded. "You mean their intranet?"
"Yes. They use it to exchange resources, including energy, pharmaceuticals, weapons, and even human trafficking. The world's largest organ transplant supplier comes from their family. They're a cancer on society," Allison explained. Genesis Creations, working with international organizations, aimed to expose and dismantle such threats. Carl's recent attack on the Simmonses was a strategy to force them to slip up, giving Genesis Creations a way in. Of course, Allison couldn't tell Alexander everything. She planned to discuss it with Carl and other members in a video call tonight.
"The authorities have the same idea. Since Cameron entered our country, he's been under surveillance. Recently, he bought a villa and installed a lot of equipment, which is why the authorities reached out to me!" Alexander said. "Servers?" Allison asked, frowning.
Alexander nodded. Allison stood up and paced back and forth in the bedroom.
Allison pondered. "He's bold. If he wants to use the competition to lure me into decoding, he must think his servers are the safest option. But bringing them here is a huge risk. Is he that confident?"
