The house was dark and quiet so she automatically assumed Liam had gone to bed.

" Thank goodness " She really didn't have any strength to deal with him right now. As quietly as she could manage. she went tiptoed into Dom's nursery and her face broke into a tender smile when she saw her son sleeping soundly. She closed the door quietly and proceeded upstairs to their bedroom. She opened the door quietly and closed it behind her. She breathed a sigh of relief but it was short lived because when she tured, Liam was sitting on the bed, his head popped up against his chin as he stared at her.

" Hey " She said softly and started walking towards the bathroom, all the while aware of his piercing gaze on her.

" How about your husband? " He asked.

" Speaking of which, " She continued " When exactly would we go our separate ways?? "

Her nostrils flared " To hell with the agreement, when am I leaving?? I can't have you controlling my life all the time, I'm done! " With that said, she stomped off into the bathroom and took long in there.

Carla carried him back into their bedroom and laid him on the big space between them. She played with his hair until she slept off.

"You're dumb, you know that? Why would you let go of him now that you have a child together! " Jenny shouted, trying to drum some sense into her friend.

Carla shook her head " You don't understand Jenny..."

Carla sighed " I have no choice Jenny, it was stated in the contract, I have to leave "

"No, you do have a choice Carla, you can choose the right way now and get that contract shit out of your head " Jenny said, trying to convince her "You would be making a big mistake if you leave this poor boy to a nanny " Jenny glared at her.
