The Alpha Vampire

Chapter 201 My Perfect Mess

I have come to the final conclusion that Cassidy is messed up.

This is the only thought that currently comes to mind as we pull out of the driveway onto the main road. Now, this would not be the perfect hunt if the weather was not playing in our favor. Apart from heavy rain that is pounding down onto the Impala, there is a thick fog that covers the road making visibility near damn impossible.

So, to say the least, this is a very eery scene that is about to unfold in front of us tonight.

Now we have been given three options here of what this creature could possibly be. Well, neither one of them makes me feel rest assured that they are less dangerous than the other. What they all do have in common is that they seem to like feasting on humans. Of course, a Vampire does have the same preference, but we do not particularly eat our victim.

And this little fact is what has all of us rather nervous. It is said that two of these creatures are far more powerful than a human. Now, as for Vampire, Dean is not quite sure about that. But I am sure that we are going to test this theory out as soon as we get the location of our little hungry beast.

Though further to this, these are not creatures that hunt in alleys. So we are going to find ourselves amongst the normal citizens of this city. God knows how Sam is going to track this thing, even though Dean reckon that there might be more than one.

So this is a gamble, and the cards are not in our favor.

But what is in my favor is that Damien, Breyden, and the Vampire Hunter are traveling in the car behind us. This gives me the opportunity to discuss my little beloved’s creation.

“Now,” I start off with a bit of information that I doubt the boys know of yet, “You boys know that Samuel Colt has recently passed?”

Dean looks over his shoulder and only but shakes his head at me, “No, did the old-timer finally kick the bucket?”

“Not quite,” I only say with a rather big smirk on my face. “He met his untimely death by a rather piercing bullet to the head.”

Sam now also turns in his seat to face me, “How do you know this? We have heard nothing.”

“Well,” I chuckle at him as I run my fingers over the bristle of my chin, “I perhaps hidden his body rather well so that nobody would ever find him.”

Then suddenly, there is a screeching of tires as Dean brings the car to an immediate stop, “Did you kill Samuel Colt?”

“The man had something that I wanted, and he was not willing to hand it over.”

Sam looks at me as he furrows his brows, and I know that I am about to receive a lashing from both these boys, and it is going to be a rather firm one. “What?” Sam asks. “What did he have that you wanted?”

“That darn book that all of you were going on about.”

Dean’s jaw only drops, and he can hardly even mumble, “The Book Of Destiny?”

“Yes,” I proudly admit though it seems somehow that they are not impressed with my recent actions.

“So.” Sam starts again. “You killed Samuel Colt for The Book of Destiny?”

Then Dean adds, “I did not even know the man had the thing.” Then he pauses for a brief while as there is a tiny smile that appears on his face. I am sure the man is thinking back to the very time when he had his own little encounter with the man. So with that in mind, he continues, “You could have told us, and we would have just taken it from the man.”

“Yes,” Sam agrees. “There was no need to kill the damn old fool.”

“Well,” I only but shrug my shoulders while I show for them to carry forward on the road that they are navigating to get to the center of the city. Then as we pull off onto the road again, I continue with the purpose behind my conversation. “Well, I have had not had the time yet to go through the book and find the pages that you boys mentioned. But…”

“Whoa,” Dean throws his hands in the air. “Don’t tell me you killed someone else.”

“I did almost kill my beloved.”

“Hey, if you guys are into some kinky sex thing, I don’t think I want to hear.”

I burst out in a fit of laughter at Dean’s comments, yes, if the man only knew. But that is a conversation for no man’s ears, yet only for my enjoyment and the very imagination that conjured it up in the first place.

But I am losing focus.

“Cassidy has perhaps kidnapped a mad scientist and got him to do some extreme experiment for her.”

I see as Sam cocks his head, and I know that I am just about to shock both of these boys. The thing, though, is that I do not know how they are going to take this creation of Mr. Gurdon. So it is with great caution that I proceed. “She has been put under the impression by our dear possessed Roberto that she knows what my legacy is.”

There is a very excited Dean that slams on the brakes again, nearly causing poor Jacob to crash into us from behind. Well, this poor Impala has been crashed so many times, it would make no difference.

So with very eager eyes and a rather high-pitched voice for such a strong man, “So, what is it?”

“A child.”

“Oh, no!” I hear his voice vibrate in my ears as he raises it by a pitch. “We do not want babies popping out of Cassidy again. And in any case, the woman is not fertile.”

“Well…”

“Oh god!” I can see the tips of his ears turn red at the very mention of my single word, “What has she done?”

“The woman was rather; I shall say clever when she was but a year younger and had her eggs frozen.”

“Please,” I watch as Sam begs for me not even to go ahead and say another word. Then, as he swallows rather loudly, “Please don’t tell me that you are fertile.”

As I nod my head, I can for certain say that the two Winchester boys have just toppled over in their grave. I guess from here, I do not need to explain the science of creating a child, but what they do not know is how.

“So,” Dean catches his breath again and moves further towards me, which I am by now sensing that I am about to be slapped against the head. Though he refrains and speaks again, “So Cassidy and you have a surrogate mother?”

I cannot help but burst into such great laughter that the tears start rolling down my cheeks. Now, do I wish to stop my conversation right here and let them think that a poor woman is walking around that is carrying my child?

No, certainly not.Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

“She has gotten a certain Mr. John Gurdon to create a baby in a vacuum. She has, in fact, been stealing my sperm and getting this man to fertilize her eggs.”

And that is Dean…

He can hardly contain the hysterics in him. Now I am not sure if it is laughter or anger that wish to be brought to the surface, but this man is surely having one hell of a reaction to the news that I have just dumped on him and Sam.

Then, “I am not even going to tell you how reckless that was,” Dean starts to speak. “Please tell me that you have put an end to the experiment?”

“My dear Dean, it is a living and breathing child. I am not aware of the age, for he is growing rapidly.”

“Yes,” Dean agrees, “Just as rapidly as the last one. Do I dare even ask if it is human or Vampire?”

“That I can not tell you either, my friend. All I know is that this mad scientist has created this child from Cassidy and me. And by the very looks of this, I am going to guess that this child will be born within the next month. Now, this is what Cassidy says is my legacy.”

“But that means…”

I show for Sam to shut his mouth and not continue to say a single word.

Then I feel the need to remind him still, “We have not read The Book of Destiny again. So until that time that I have found those pages, I am not going to come to any conclusions.”

Then from the other side Dean, who has now gone completely silent, starts to turn onto the road again. So I push the thought of the child to the back of my head as we head towards the last location of the creature.

But Dean…

“Take me to this child.”
