Kai’s POV

“Mhmm we need to go”, I moaned as Bella and Dominic engaged in another after-breakfast quickie. “We might get late !”, I tried to resist but the keyword was “tried” coz my protests sounded weak enough to my own ears.

It was like I wanted this more than them !

I swear I used to be innocent before.

These horny creatures turned me. Ughh.

It seemed like I was in the midst of a love avalanche since yesterday night.

They never left an opportunity to molest me any time and anywhere !

The sudden love attack came when Bella first saw the email from the disciplinary board and from the gleam in Dominic’s eye, it was not hard to deduce that he was the one who had bailed us out of the chaotic situation.

I could ask for all the deets from that chatty, pregnant Beta later.

Zeke would surely pour out all the details himself.

I had such loving and caring mates.

So I decided then and there to surprise them both.

I would propose to them tonight !!

“Don’t get ahead of yourself. Remember what the pregnancy incident led to ? Just stay put for fuck’s sake, Kai”, Dexter chided.

“Sometimes I really don’t understand who is the Lycan and who is the human out of the two of us”, I huffed but suddenly, my morale had dipped so low in disappointment that even Bella who was kissing me in full on make out session mode in my lap, sensed a shift in my mood.

“Kai ? What is wrong, baby ?”, she worriedly asked while cupping my face.

“Nothing”, I lied and leaned forward to continue from where we left while Dominic ran to take a quick bath but Bella wedged her hand between our mouths.

“No Kai. What the heck is going on in that over analyzing head of yours ?”, she pressed.

“I said nothing ! Nothing is bothering me !”, I irately replied, not wanting her to know my stupid thoughts before effortlessly picking up the royal Lycan Queen-in-waiting and setting her down beside me on the couch.

I got up to pack my bag and get ready to head out to the university’s staff room.

Bella said nothing but silently watched me as I wore my shirt and deodorant while hope for a married, happy life with my mates logged out of my system after Dexter’s reminder.

I felt so bitter- again !

Could I blame this to the ‘Fertility Gene’ too ?

Bella’s POV

“Ask Dexter”

“No ! He will never rat out his human !!”

“You are such a weak Alpha pup”, I taunted the haughty Lycan. “Can’t even ask or charm her Beta. Tsk, tsk. Poor you”, I baited her into doing the dirty work for me.

And boy didn’t it work like a charm.

“And you are a wimp !!”, Snow huffed. “Go and ask him directly”, she ordered but by the tone of her voice, I knew she had relented already.

Guess she was worried about her mate too, even if she did not show it.

“I clearly tried”, I rolled my eyes while gesturing at the front door which had been banged shut seconds back. “Didn’t you see ?! He left us here faster than the wind under his door !!”, I exclaimed.

“Ughh. Ok. You always make me do the dirty work”, she harrumphed, making me chuckle. Yeah I did. Hehe.

“Good girl”, I teased before blocking her.

Kai’s POV

I narrowed my eyes at the repeated offenders or rather “frequent latecomers” as they stood at the door of the class while I drew a business chart on the board.

“May we come in, Sir ?”

What the fuck was wrong with them ?

We all had got ready in time.

And to top on it, with their supernatural speed and strength, they could run around the world twice and still not be late for my class.

Then why the eff were they so late to my class ?

“Come in and stand at the back. You are late again”, I growled out the punishment. “One more time and I will be sending you to the Dean”, I threatened them.

I expected my mates to look sheepish but instead, the two c*cky heads wore triumphant and smug looks, much to my annoyance and I couldn’t help wondering if I had just handed out a punishment to them or a treat.

Did they never leave an opportunity to fool around me or tease me in any way that they could ?

I did not wish to rehash their peculiar behaviour right now, especially when I was so bummed out about the proposal thing.

I dismissed my thoughts about those mischief makers and instead focused back to teaching the class which was interested in watching my butt than looking at the graphs I drew for these horny twerps.

“So as I was saying this graph represents sales of a luxury product against actual consumer demand in a year. If I were to increase inflation and increase bank loan rates at the same time the next year, then what do you think would be the effect on sales of the given luxury product ?”, I asked the class while writing on the board, without turning back.

“I want everyone to draw, analyze and answer all case scenarios, and I want to know the critical value of inflation when the consumer shall not have a cash crunch to get a loan from bank and buy the luxury product”, I added before giving the white chalk a break.

“Now this is today’s surprise quiz question for all of you. It is worth 20 marks so attempt it quickly and accurately”, I announced and brushed off the chalk powder from my hands before I faced back the class.

However, as soon as I turned back my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets !

“Dexter ?”, I gritted out through the mindlink.

“I am sorry”, the Beta Lycan mewled sheepishly. “Snow tricked me !! That li’l minx. She asked me when I was too heady during the mindblowing blow job she gave me !”, he dreamily added.

Yeah I could tell how mindblowing the blow job was, given that he vomited all my insecurities without hesitation.

“You are terrible !”, I admonished him through the mindlink while staring blankly at the back of the class in stupefied shock.

It was a miracle that I had chosen that moment to give all the students a quiz, otherwise they would have witnessed their professor passing out, out of shock and utter happiness.

A long, golden sparkling banner spanned across the back of the huge classroom as Dominic and Bella held each end.

My eyes misted when I read the banner.

It was like a dream come true !

The best surprise of my life !!

“YES, WE WOULD LOVE TO MARRY YOU, KAI GRAYSON. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH !! SO WILL YOU MARRY US AND MAKE US THE HAPPIEST CREATURES IN THIS WORLD ?”

My body almost lost its sense of touch, scent and vision as my heart pounded wildly in my chest and I could only hear it beating like a conga drum gone wild.

“Well ?”, my mates mindlinked me nervously, their hearts engaging in a tap dance too as I took a good ass time to get back control of my frenzied nerves and respond back to them in my own unique way.

Third Person POV

“You are such a bitch”, the Director snarled at his wife, or more of future ex-wife as two police officers held him back while Cassy rolled her eyes in the courtroom.

“Here. Sign the divorce papers and be happy to move in with the slut half your age in her prison cell”, she replied back, clearly trying to hold back a snicker.

“My daddy is gonna bail me out”, the dim witted, spoilt rotten girl spat back, focusing only on the ‘prison cell’ phrase.

“Wow ! You really got the dumbest girl of the lot, Andrew. Congratulations”, Lisa taunted before slamming the papers in front of her soon to be ex-husband and clicked around her heels.All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

“You should be glad to be free from that old hag finally”, Cassy huffed before twirling around a strand of hair around her finger. “You can thank me later”, she smirked.

“Yes. I should definitely thank you. Afterall, you and your stupid video are the reason that I am here in this mess !”, the ex-Director gnarled. “God, why did I- a naturally intelligent man of higher order, get involved with someone as chicken headed like you ?”, he lamented. “I don’t know what I saw in you and why I thought about a future about us together. Argh !”, he cringed.

“Oh quit your nagging old man. Geez you are such a narcissist. And future ? Us ? Together ? You got to be kidding me ! I was never interested in you. You were just a means to the end, which was my lover boy, Dominic !! For “a naturally intelligent man of higher order”, you are certainly a damn dense man, grandpa”, Cassy harrumphed before leaving the aghast, elder man to deal with his problems alone.

“Yeah ? Let us see how Daddy dear bails you out of this now, Cassy Monroe ?”, Andrew evilly grinned as he held up his phone in front of her face and showed the chats saved on his phone.

“No !”, Cassy exclaimed horrified with saucer wide eyes.

“Yes”, the man set on revenge replied victoriously. If he was going to drown then he was not going to sink alone. “Let us see how you and your girlfriends get out of this cheating case and for tampering your report cards”, he smugged before Cassy screamed.

“And that is how we complete the royal revenge !!”, Ryan and Dylan fist bumped with each other as they watched the whole drama from behind the scenes.

In the end, Karma did bite the royal trio’s enemies- human or otherwise, in their asses real hard !
