Yvette strode into the study where Wilson, Samuel and Skyla were.

"Are you looking for me?" she asked Skyla.

Although she was currently in a female outfit and looked slightly different from when she was in her male disguise, Skyla still recognized her immediately. Her round eyes widened, and she was so shocked that she started stuttering.

"Y-Y-You're a woman..."

Yvette, too, had recognized Skyla as the young lady who had protected her back at the casino. She immediately felt a headache coming on.

She didn't think that Miguel would actually be right on the money. Skyla really had taken a liking to her!

Yvette softened her tone and said, slightly apologetic, "Sorry, I wasn't intentionally trying to keep it from you before."

She'd worn men's clothes to blow up the casino in order to hide her real identity. She hadn't expected feelings of love to blossom in someone because of it!

When she locked gazes with Yvette, Skyla still felt incredibly smitten, and Yvette's gentle tone made her heartbeat quicken.

Her face was red and when she next spoke, her words were shocking. "I'm fine with women too! I still like you very much!"

For a moment, the atmosphere in the room took on a strange note.

Samuel tutted inwardly.

How powerful Yvette's charm was that she managed to change the sexuality of the eldest daughter of the Granger family!

Except, Wilson was probably about to explode with anger!

After ending his internal lament, he snuck a glance at Wilson.

As expected, Wilson's expression was frosty, and the air he was giving off was incomparably menacing.

Just great, another one who'd come to snatch Yvette from him!

Skyla's attention was fully focused on Yvette, so she was completely unaware of the danger at her back. Her clear, almond-shaped eyes looked shyly at Yvette.

"I really like you. Won't you at least consider me?"

Before Yvette could reply, Wilson had pulled her into his embrace. His large, well- defined hands rubbed circles into her waist as he declared his supremacy aloud. "Do you think I'm invisible, trying to steal her from me right in front of my face?"

Skyla stared in shock, stammering, "Boss, y-y-you guys..."

Seeing her dumbfounded expression, Samuel decided to kindly inform her, "Ms. Granger, Ms. Yvette is Mr. Quinn's fiancée!"

She'd actually confessed to someone's fiancée right in front of them... It was too embarrassing!

Skyla's face immediately turned red. She felt as if her face was on fire, and all she wanted to do was find herself a hole to hide in.

"Boss, I suddenly recalled that I have other matters to attend to at home, so... I-I'II be excusing myself first!"

As soon as the words left her mouth, she lifted the hem of her skirt and ran out of the study, looking just like a bumbling penguin.

Yvette watched her leave, laughing softly with a smile on her lips. "She's quite cute," she commented.

Wilson gritted his teeth when he heard that, his eyes flashing dangerously. His hands gripped more tightly onto her waist. "You still dare call others cute?" he asked threateningly.

Knowing that he was getting jealous again, Yvette arched an eyebrow at him, asking back, "Why are you so narrow-minded? I just gave her one small compliment, and you're already jealous?"

"Well, whose fault is it that you're such a love magnet?" he retorted.

The more Wilson thought about it, the more frustrated he felt. Why was she so prone to catching people's fancies? Not only did he have to be on guard against men, he had to watch out for women too!

Yvette's smile widened at his sarcastic words, and she looked even more stunning that way. "I can't help being this outstanding!"

Wilson let out a low chuckle. His captivating eyes gazed affectionately at her, and when he spoke, his husky voice was full of passionate love.

"Yes, my dear Yvie truly is outstanding, so outstanding that I just want to hide you away so that you'll only belong to me!"

"Has the drug been retrieved?"

Deep fear appeared on Varian's face at the cold voice of the man on the screen. Face pale, he replied, "We have yet to locate the drug, Master..."

"You piece of trash."

The man in the video wore a creepy mask on his face, so his face couldn't be seen clearly, but the eerie air he gave off was frightening.

In stark contrast to his previous glamor, Varian now looked incredibly miserable and was shaking violently.

"Please don't be angry. When I evacuated the underground laboratory, I was sure that I had brought the drug with me, but I discovered that it had somehow disappeared after I left...

"And yet, no matter how many times I send people back to the lab to search for it, it's nowhere to be found.

"I'm guessing that the people from the Dark Organization must have taken it!"

As expected, the gaze of the man in the video turned even colder at his words.

Varian hurriedly seized the

people to hack into our systems but

also destroyed our underground lab.

Now, they've even taken the drug away!

"Dark Organization..." The man in the video murmured lowly, murderous intent clear in his cold eyes. "I'll remember this."

Varian instantly sighed in relief, then spoke up worriedly, "What should we do if

the drug has fallen into the Dark Organization's hands, Master?"

After all, the Dark Organization wasn't an easy foe to deal with!

The man in the video smiled sinisterly, expression vicious and cruel. "We'll simply

get someone else to do the dirty work for us," he said in a low voice.

The man in the video sneered coldly, not an ounce of emotion in his hoarse voice.

"If it weren't for the fact that you still hold value, you'd have died a thousand times over for losing the drug. This is the last chance I'm giving you!"

Varian trembled even more violently. "Yes, of course... Thank you, Master, for being willing to give me another chance! I definitely won't let you down!"

The man in the video continued, "I've already sent someone to deliver 50 infants and children to you."

His eyes seemed to become even more vicious and cruel under the mask.

"This time, we must develop a successful product! No matter the cost!" he declared.
