Chapter 92 I Will Teach You (Part One)
Chapter 92 I Will Teach You (Part One)
Fiona and George didn't follow Eric back into the residential building. Instead, they made their way to
the piano room on the first floor of the white building. Upon entrance, Fiona couldn't help but notice that
the decoration of the room seems to have changed. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
She had played on this piano once before and thought that it sounded melodious back then. As the
piano stood in the corner, grand and elegant, she was instantly drawn to it.
"Let's go inside and have a look," George said as he noticed the eagerness in Fiona's eyes. "The room
isn't locked anyway, do you think it's okay?"
"Yes." Fiona nodded eagerly.
George waved his hand to his staff as a signal to leave. He then entered the piano room with Fiona.
"Do you know how to play, Fiona?" he inquired.
"A little," Fiona said modestly.
"I remember back then, whenever I would go to your house, your mother used to play the piano. I
admired her so much back then," George smiled. "My mom used to say, 'All the women in the
residential area live like men do. Only Fiona's mom is feminine. She can play piano and draw. Fiona is
also very beautiful, like a flower. I have no doubt that she'll grow up to be an excellent woman.'"
He imitated his mother's speech in such a way that Fiona couldn't help but grin. Whenever people
talked about her mother, she felt as if warm sunshine was filling her heart.
"Play a song for me, please?" George urged. "I believe you'll do well just like your mother did."
Raising her eyebrows, Fiona didn't refuse.
The minute Spencer arrived at the doorway of the piano room, he saw that it was indeed Fiona who
was playing the piano.
The memory of Fiona playing the piano last time was still etched in his mind. The way in which her
fingers danced along the keys, her body swaying with the music, and the sparkle that seemed to have
come from her eyes as she played were all truly unforgettable.
These were his reasons for adamantly refusing his men when they asked permission from him to
convert the piano room into a fitness room. Instead, he had the piano room redecorated just in case
Fiona decided to play the piano again.
He stood outside the door, not daring to move in fear that he would disturb the serenity of the moment.
Meanwhile, Fiona continued to play the piano, head lowered. Her silvery music enlivened the cold,
bleak winter.
Remaining motionless, Spencer relished hearing Fiona play the piano in silence.
Suddenly, the music went from a slow pace to a fast pace. Fiona had successfully transitioned in a
gradual and smooth way until the music faded away.
While Spencer was still in a trance,
he suddenly heard someone clapping.
George walked out from the corner of the room which Spencer only noticed now. George smiled lightly
as he gazed at Fiona. "Wow, that's lovely," he praised.
"Thank you." When Fiona stood up from the piano, she turned and opened her mouth to say something
to George. However, she suddenly saw Spencer standing by the door. What was he doing here?
Fiona blinked her eyes in surprise.
"What's wrong?" With his back to the door, George saw the look of shock on Fiona's face. He turned
his head and upon seeing Spencer, his face suddenly darkened. With a faint smile, he said, "Oh,
Spencer, you're here!"
Without saying anything, Spencer walked inside the piano room, his face unreadable. "As far as I know,
you didn't come here for a vacation, yet you have the time to visit the piano room." He paused as he
walked towards the piano, randomly pressing a few keys before continuing, "George, we still have a
very important meeting to attend tomorrow. You've traveled a long way. I think it's best if you use this
time to rest now. Besides, we don't want people gossiping about you two being alone together, do we?"
Furrowing her eyebrows, Fiona muttered, "Spencer..."
"Fiona!" George raised his hand to stop Fiona from continuing what she was going to say. Turning to
Spencer, he said diplomatically, "You're right, Spencer. After all, we're no longer kids. We can't like we
used to back in our childhood. I really should go rest now. I just have a few words to say to you,
Spencer. Fiona, would you mind giving us some privacy?"
Momentarily taken aback, Fiona nodded her head as she carefully walked past Spencer, heading out
the door.
It was still snowing outside. She stood outside the building, watching the beautiful scenery.
"What do you want to say?" Spencer asked calmly as withdrew his gaze from Fiona as she left.
"Don't leave Fiona alone no matter what." George kept a straight face as he spoke. "I know that an
arranged marriage is difficult for both of you to accept. If you can't accept it, then just don't. It's better if
you just let her go instead of just dragging her down, which is obviously making her unhappy. She's
your wife. I hate seeing her not being prioritized over your sister."
Spencer clenched his fists but reluctantly loosened them right away. With disdain in his tone, he asked,
"Who are you to talk to me like this?"
"Who do you think I am?" George stepped forward and closed the distance between him and Spencer,
the tension increasing by the second. "I know what is on your mind, and you are right."
"Do you like Fiona?" Spencer looked calm but his eyes were shining with vigilance. "But she's my wife
which means you don't stand a chance."
"If you don't treat her well, I think I have a pretty good chance." It seemed that George had gained an
upper hand in this matter as the grin on his face grew wider.
"Impossible." Turning his head away, Spencer was visibly furious. It seemed that everyone around him
was always telling him to treat Fiona well including Terence and Ruby. He couldn't help but wonder
what it was about Fiona that made everyone around her want to look out for her.
Upon second thought, he realized that it was completely understandable. After just a few months, he
felt the same way about her. He couldn't seem to let her go as well.
Ever since she'd lost the baby, he'd been intending to treat Fiona kindly. However, this wasn't the right
time. His relationship with Fiona had come to a standstill. He needed to allow more time for him
improve his relationship with her. Once he resolved his problems regarding X, he planned to live a
happy life with her.
"You have to do more than just saying it." George let out a sigh. "I hope that you'll start doing
something about this. She has suffered a lot. Please be kind to her."
"You don't have to tell me." Spencer rolled his eyes at him. "What happened today was just an
accident."
Raising his eyebrows, George said, "I hope so. By the way, is the girl who fainted earlier really your
sister? How is she now?"
Upon the mention of Celine, Spencer knitted his eyebrows. "She's fine," he said simply.
"That's good." George nodded but to himself, he thought, 'Why is Spencer's sister so thoughtless?'
"Well, that's all I have to say. I have to leave now. Fiona and I are going to make a snowman." George
looked at Spencer, grinning as if to provoke him.
