Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 404

Chapter 404

Mia sat at the foot of the bed. “Wherever you go, that’s where my ‘home’ is.”

A smile appeared at the corner of Andre’s mouth. “So, you’re willing to follow me?”

“Who else would I follow except you? We are husband and wife. Naturally, I will follow you.” As soon as

Mia finished speaking, she sighed. “We should actually consider moving. There are no problems now.

However, if we really live with them together for ten or so years, disagreements are bound to happen

over domestic trifles.

“Besides, Leo is 21 this year, so in a few years, he’ll be getting married and having kids. Being the

eldest grandson, he will definitely settle down here. If we all live here, that won’t be a good

arrangement.

“Anyway, we have our own little place at Maplewood Estates. It’s spacious, and the environment is

great. It will be less lively with just the three of us there, but it will be cozy.”

Andre looked at his sharp-minded little wife. She looked silly, but could think of everything in her mind.

What she said was also what he thought.

“Home is certainly good. If you want to hang out with dad in the future, we can bring him over to

Maplewood Estates.” Andre said.

Mia nodded. “Exactly. Moreover, if we live at Maplewood Estates, my mom can come to take care of

me. Naomi, after all, is not my mom. Even though we are very close, it’s not as comfortable as having

my own mom around.”

If they were to stay in the old house, it wouldn’t be convenient for Madison to come over.

Speaking of parents, coincidentally, Aaron called Andre.

Andre picked up. “Hello, Aaron?”

Mia leaned over. Her ear was against the back screen of the phone. She was eavesdropping.

Andre chuckled. This little girl started to be naughty again. He put the phone on speaker. “Go ahead.”

Aaron called to check on his daughter’s health. He asked, “How’s Mia’s health? Is she due for a

prenatal checkup this week?”

Mia quickly grabbed the phone. It turned out that dad was looking for her. She replied, “I’m fine, dad.

They feed me every day at home. My dad feeds me. Naomi feeds me. My husband feeds me. Today

Leo came back and said my belly is so big, I about to give birth.” Mia happily shared her life. “Dad, are

you with mom?”

“We’re together.”

The voice of Madison came from the other end of the phone, “Don’t just eat and not exercise. Take

more walks. You are at home waiting for the baby, so you have a lot of free time. Don’t waste it.”

“Okay.”

Andre whispered to his wife, “I’ll take you to see your parents this week.”

Mia quickly said to her parents, “Mom, dad, after my checkup this week, I’ll come home to see you.”

“What do you want to eat? Your mom will prepare in advance.”

Mia pursed her lips. She really had to think about this.

They chatted on the phone for a while. Then Andre took his wife to the bathroom.

Andre’s concern was always unspoken. He feared that the floor would be slippery and his wife would

slip during her shower. Right now, the bathroom floor was filled with bath mats.

Mia didn’t notice. After she got pregnant, she would always shower first, and then Andre would take his

shower, because he would clean the bathroom after his shower, not letting her do anything.

By the time Mia used it again, there wasn’t even a hair on the floor.

Every time Mia made a small discovery, she would pout her face upwards, and then Andre would very

cooperatively lean over to kiss her.

Mia didn’t know that a man at night couldn’t be teased. Even a light kiss could end up in a sensual

encounter.

Mia felt like a floating weed on the water, experiencing the tender love her husband gave her.

Andre restrained himself. His fists clenched. His husky voice sounded over Mia’s head. “No more

second child. One is enough.”

He didn’t want to endure the temptation of having her beside him and not being able to enjoy her. He

had been restraining himself, but on that day in the study, it was like floodgate was opened, making him

crave the taste of his little wife’s body again after just a few days.

Once there was a second time, it wasn’t as easy to control as before.

Mia was also sweating profusely. Her chest was slightly heaving. Her breathing was heavy, and her

mouth was dry. “Then will you help me with my thesis?”

“Only if you’re willing to keep me up all night.”

...

The Ashford family had been making a lot of noise recently. The next day at work, Coleen called her

daughter into the office and warned her, “Stay away from Jack.”

Molly reminded, “Mom, we don’t have any contact.”

Coleen said, “Ah, that’s good.”

“What’s up with the Ashford family?” Molly asked her mother out of boredom.

During lunch, Coleen told her daughter about the drama in the Ashford family. “Jack’s parents are in Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

the middle of a divorce. What a circus! Aiden had an affair and even has a child. During the trial, Jack’s

mom demanded that he leave with nothing, but the trial didn’t go in her favor. She cursed at the judge

in court and accused him of taking bribes. She even foolishly reported it to the authorities, wanting to

get Aiden arrested for a thorough investigation.”

“Mom, is this woman an idiot?” Molly always spoke her mind. “I thought she is just impudent, but it

seems she is even worse.

“I don’t know whether there was bribery or not. But her behavior is really absurd. Doesn’t she know that

her report has completely offended the government officials, indirectly adding obstacles to her son’s

future? You tell me, if Jack ever needs a favor from a leader in the future, who would dare to help him

after knowing what his mother did?

“She even proudly reported Aiden. Doesn’t she know that if Aiden is investigated, it will affect the

company’s stock price? Ultimately, wouldn’t it mean it will affect their family of three?

“She’s a real oddball, a total fool.”

Coleen looked at her daughter and felt more and more proud. “Even you can see through this, but she

didn’t. She is a woman in her fifties, but still can’t figure it out.”

“Aiden has had it tough, maintaining a marriage with such a woman for over twenty years. Why didn’t

he divorce her earlier?”

Coleen replied, “Aiden built his fortune from scratch. The company is jointly owned by him and his wife.

Once they divorce, the assets will be divided. The company was in a period of growth and couldn’t

afford capital outflow, so he endured all these years.”

Molly, with her unique way of thinking, asked her mother, “Mom, if you and dad divorced, would the

money be split evenly?”

As soon as she finished speaking, Coleen gave her a light smack. “I just praised you, but now you

make me want to hit you again.”

Molly didn’t mind. “So when I inherit your company, if I were to divorce my husband...” She didn’t finish

her sentence. Seeing her mother’s raised hand, she ran away.

As they were dining, the conversation turned to Chad. Coleen said, “With you not around, your brother

hardly comes home now.”

“He’s too busy chasing bad guys. He said once he catches them all, he’ll have time to hang out with

me,” Molly replied.

Coleen sighed. “Molly, do you have any friends who might be a good match for your brother? He wasn’t

interested in a relationship before, so I didn’t push him. But now he still has no girlfriend. I’m getting

worried.”

“Let me see. My friends: Mia, heavily pregnant; Leo, male; and that’s it,” Molly listed.

Coleen shook her head. “Never mind. I can’t rely on you for this.”
