Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1375

Cooper: "I can't carry him back."

"Why not?"

4:00 PM.

Andre's phone rang. "Hey, Cooper."

"Hey, bro-in-law, can you swing by the go-kart club? Your kid won't leave. My sister told me to bring him home, but right now he's glued to the steering wheel and won't let go."

Andre put down his pen and took a deep breath. "Why is he at the go-kart club again?!"

Cooper blinked. "Uh, I brought him here to try it out." Turned out, once he tried it, he wouldn't stop.

By 4:30, Andre showed up at the club, looking sharp in his suit. Inside, his son- classic grumpy Henry-was arguing with a staff member. "No! I wanna play more!"

Andre came over, and Henry immediately reached out, all puppy eyes, "Daddy~"

Clinging to his dad's pant leg, Henry got scooped up into Andre's arms. "How long has he been at this?"

Henry shot his uncle a look. Cooper shrugged, "Two hours."

"Henry, you can either go home now, or do three more laps with Daddy, then we'll head out. Your pick."

Of course, Henry went for more laps. Andre buckled him in, hands in his pockets, and watched as his son zipped around three more times. But when it was time to leave, Henry still wouldn't budge.

Andre sighed, "Alright, I guess your uncle and I will just leave without you. You stay here and play."

As soon as Henry realized his dad might actually go, he started fake-crying, calling for Daddy to carry him.

After changing out of his little racing suit, Andre finally scooped up his sulky son and headed home. Even as they left, Henry clung to the window, not ready to say goodbye to the track.

Cooper glanced at his nephew and felt a little pang of sympathy.

Since he'd driven his own car, Cooper called out, "Andre, I'm heading out first!"

Andre yelled after him, "Cooper, don't you dare buy Henry-"

But Cooper was already gone.

Back at the Cedillo house, Andre carried Henry inside. Henry spotted a strange baby boy and looked totally confused.

"See? My sweet little grandson's back," Hansen announced, having just finished bragging about his grandkids.

Henry instantly found himself a new "toy."

A woman smiled at Andre as he walked in. "Andre."

He nodded, "Welcome."

He turned to his wife. "Mia, take care of our guests."

"Don't worry, honey."

Jade chimed in, beaming, "Andre, I'll help too!"

Hearing both women promise at once, Andre couldn't help but wam, "No trouble, you two! Don't drag the kids into any messes! And no one's going to the police station this time!”

Ms. Aimee glanced at the two mischievous ladies, eyes sparkling. "Seriously, ladies, teach me your ways-how do you always end up at the police station?"

That night Officer Chad came home. Jade gestured at him playfully, "See? The government gave me my own officer. He arrests mer interrogates me sets me up, tricks me-my dear Officer Chad.”

Officer Chad heard this as soon as he walked in and just shook his head.

He came in carrying their son. Little Wayne was holding onto the coffee table, staring at the unfamiliar baby, who was somehow already taller than him.

Wait, wasn't he supposed to be the baby of the family? But his mom was saying, "Wayne, you see? You're a big brother now. This is your little brother, Jared.”

Wayne banged on the table, looking around big-eyed for his big brother. "Waaah~"

Henry, ever the busybody, reached out both arms, wanting to pull his baby brothers together. He wanted to teach them how to drive. Andre just stood there, shaking his head. "You can barely walk straight and now you want to teach two babies who can't even walk? Come drink your milk." noveldrama

Henry was back to square one, clutching his bottle and sulking as he drank his

milk.
