Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1296

Leo waited patiently until Anya was all set before grabbing her suitcase with a playful grin. "Alright, let's hit the road."

As they reached the parking lot, Anya took hold of her suitcase, surprised. "Hey, Chad, why does this suitcase feel so much lighter?"

Leo smirked, "Hop in the car."

During the drive, Anya glanced around curiously. "Chad, this doesn't seem like the right route. Weren't we supposed to take the highway?"

Leo chuckled, "We're taking a different path."

Still trusting him completely, Anya settled down to find a show on her phone. Leo couldn't help but smile at his naive girlfriend, covering his grin with his hand. "Ms. Anya, if I were to sell you, you'd be none the wiser, huh?"

Anya confidently replied, "Chad, you wouldn't dare. You can't live without me!"

"Oh, I totally could."

When they finally arrived at their destination, Leo pulled over, and Anya stepped out, looking baffled at the private airstrip. A plane was being refueled nearby. Leo retrieved their luggage from the trunk, amused by Anya's confusion as she wandered around the airstrip.

"Chad, what's going on here?" Anya asked, still puzzled.

Leo laughed, "I'm selling you."

Just then, a car with Andre's familiar emblem pulled up. Mia stepped out first, spotting the couple. "You two are early."

Andre followed, fetching luggage for his family. Mia went to gather her mischievous son, and Anya approached her with curiosity. "Auntie, what's happening?"

Mia looked surprised. "You mean you don't know?"

Anya shook her head, bewildered. Mia glanced at Leo, who was leaning against

the car door, grinning, "Don't ask me."

Soon, the Byrne family's minivan arrived, packed with relatives. Anya, still clueless, asked, "Aunt, what's the plan?"

Molly seemed puzzled too. "You haven't figured it out?"

Anya shook her head again, confused as ever. Molly exchanged a knowing look with her longtime friends, "Well, I can't help you either."

Hansen's car was next to arrive. He got out, grumbling about his missing hat, "I told you to keep it safe. Now it's gone. I'm not pleased, hmph!"

"Grandpa! What are we doing here?" Anya hoped for some clarity.

Up to this point, no one had explained a thing to her. Hansen turned, beaming, "Ah, my dear Anya, it's so good to see you. Grandpa missed you."

Still waiting for answers, Anya was left even more confused as Hansen exclaimed, "You mean you don't know?"noveldrama

Anya felt like a tangled ba

turning to her family in

bewilderment. "Aunt, Auntie,

Grandpa, what am I supposed to

know? Chad said he's selling me!"

The whole group burst into laughter, enjoying the anticipation of the holiday and Anya's adorable gullibility.

"Oh, Ms. Anya, you silly thing! All four

of our families are going on New

Year's vacation together. Your parents are catching a flight as we speak."

Leo, grinning, wrapped an arm around Anya, affectionately pinching her cheek. "In other words, we'r spending this New Year together, without being apart!"

To Anya, it was a delightful surprise, like a sudden burst of sunshine.
