Jessica's eyes lit up as she heard Summer's words. But then, the light in her eyes gradually dimmed

"But Sivan is pregnant," Jessica said in a dull voice.
"I don't like Sivan. She can't have the baby," Jessica said to herself.
Summer thought for a while before she ventured, "What if Sivan's child is not Carl's?"

"Why are you here?" Summer asked Carl.
Carl was tired. "I just came back. I heard you guys are here, so I came to see you."

Summer recalled what Jessica said and asked back, "Who?"
Carl was asking for this.
