Start With An Unexpected Affair

Yasmin got to the party wearing a black strapless bodycon midi dress, she took off the coat she is wearing on it and immediately start her search for Mr. Kase

The room was much fuller than she had expected to meet at the party, everyone from work seems to be there and even Mr. Bays, yet none of them told her about the party like she’s kinda an outcast amongst them.

After what appears to be a long search to Yasmin, she found him having a blast with some girl who seems to be gawping at him not having a clue about what he is saying

“Mr. Kase?”

He look up and was a bit taken aback to see her in there, like he saw some ghost or something worst, he got up from his seat and push the girl slightly away

“Miss. Cassidy” he beamed hypocritically

“Why are you here?”

“I’m sure you know very well why I’m here, I need your approval on the proposal I sent to you about the new business…”

“Miss. Cassidy? Can we talk about this some other time? Work hours is over” he said and try pushing her away gently but firmly

Yasmin push his hand away and turn back furiously to him, it is obvious to her now that he is being intentional

“We have to talk about it now, if you had done your work properly during work hours, I won’t have to come to you now” she said almost turning her words to a screech

“What did you say? You this woman! How dare you tell me when to work or not?” Mr. Kase asked in loud screams.

Everyone turn their gazes to them curious about what was going on, Yasmin look away hating the attention on her, she is not supposed to be here

“Who is this?” the girl with him asked moving close to them

“Is she bothering you? Do you need me to get rid of her?” she asked again putting her hand over his shoulder to pass the message that he is hers

Yasmin give a chuckle seeing the look on the lady’s face and decide this isn’t worth it, she has been patient for so long for some jerk to spoil things for her

The lady seeing she is being ignored by Yasmin in anger grab a glass of wine from someone’s hand and throw it at her

Yasmin’s eyes widen in shock and anger as the liquid spread all over her, she gave a heavy sigh of anger not sure if she should let it go or deal with the lady smirking right in front of her, every single one in the room was boring their eyes on her now including President Black

“Yasmin?” someone called from the crowd and she turn to the familiar voice

Veronica walk closer to her looking shock and a bit frighten to see her there, she is the same lady she make use of in trapping Kyler and she was sure she’s already fired, so why on earth is she here?

“Miss. Cassidy, what’s going on here?” his charming voice find It way into Yasmin’s ears and heart did a quick flip

Kyler walk to the scene with his gaze on Mr. Kase instead of her, he has a very cold and distant expression on his face and his body also gives the same vibes

“She hit on my man” the lady said and Yasmin almost lost herself and hit her, she turn to him to explain herself but he didn’t give her the chance to explain herself

“You are not invited to my party yet you are being a nuisance spoiling everyone’s nice evening, who the hell do you think you are?”

He yelled the last part to her face and look away again, Yasmin try to fight the tears wailing up her eyes as she couldn’t sniffle at the moment not to show any weakness, everyone seems to be staring and whispering to themselves now

“I want your messy self out of my party” he blurt out

Yasmin try to catch his face but he didn’t let her, it’s like he is trying to let her know he is rejecting her, already feeling suffocated by the glares on her, she swallowed hard and walk out of the party in her drenched and stained dress.

The party continued like nothing happened but Kyler begin to lose interest in everything around him including Veronica who keep dancing around him and clinching on him.

After a successful escape from her, Kyler decide to call Kase out and ask him what really happened minutes ago

“Miss. Cassidy tried to hit on me President Black” he said looking like the victim

“I want the truth of what happened Mr. Kase not your act of pretense” he irately stated

Frightened, Kase hurry spill out the beans and apologize for his mistake and beg not to be punish

“F*ck” he cussed out

Hearing him cuss made Kase shivers in his suit, he really was just trying to have fun with her and didn’t realize she is someone that belong to the boss

After telling him to report to him first thing on Monday morning, Kyler went to get his car and chase after Yasmin

He isn’t sure why he actually yell at her in front of everyone, but it’s like he’s trying to prove something to himself by saying those words, like trying to make himself feel less guilty

After riding around the whole street for more than thirty minutes, Kyler saw her sitting in one of the open shops with two bottles of beer in front of her

He hurry get down from the car and went over, he grab her hand from picking up the bottle and pin it to the table

Yasmin look up with a raised brow and was a little taken aback by his presence, but then anger took over all other feelings and she grab the bottle back in her attempt to take it away from him

Seeing that she’s not ready to let go of the bottle, he push it violently off the table and grab her hands instead locking them in his palms

“What are you doing? Let go of me” she wiggled

“I’m not letting you get drunk for some lame reason”

“It’s none of your business, I don’t work for you, neither am I invited to your party”

“you’re coming with me” he said stubbornly and carry her over his shoulder, he ignore her protest to be let go and took her to the front seat, Yasmin try to get away but he is fast enough to lock her in with the auto-lock he got into the car and drive away

Yasmin sneeze due to the cold she had exposed her body to because of her anger and he give her his handkerchief, she hesitated at first and snatch it from him eventually, she sniff and held the hankie to her nostril which is getting a little red now

“Why are you here?” Yasmin asked her anger boiling in her, he had just literally throw her out of his party and then here to take her home, sounds like a funny prank to her

“I don’t know” he simply said and look away to the rear mirror

Yasmin want to ask him how ridiculous he thinks his answer sounds or seems to be but she just let it go and turn away also facing the close window.

The car stopped and she got down from the car without wasting a second, Kyler also get off the car and walk over to her side, watching her walking through the passage, she suddenly stop on her heels and turn back to him walking to him

“Are you going to continue to pretend nothing happened?” she asked fighting her tears so she can finally let it all out

“I…really regret that night, I really wish it did not happen because if it doesn’t, will things be different than it is now?”” she said and snuffle her tears again

“You have sex with me, fired me, have sex with me again and ignore me like I’m some fool you could ride” she said between hard breaths

“I really want to turn back the clock but I will forget whatever happened between us instead, I really need to forget those memories to I can have my sanity back” she said bitterly and begin to walk back to the house

Kyler watch her go for few seconds but at a quick reasoning, he chases after her and grab her before she unlock the door

“Aren’t you scared of me?” he asked and Yasmin stare in perplexity

“If you continue to show your weakness, I might just see it as an opportunity to have my way with you again” he told her, his countenance somber

Yasmin’s expression turn from perplexity into a flustered one and she try not to let his words get to her but her heart isn’t listening to her at the moment

“Even right now…I’m trying so hard to stop myself from doing something” he state and breathed out after.

Yasmin couldn’t help but stare at him after what he just said, whether she is to be glad, worried or happy right now, she isn’t sure which feelings to have right now

“So stop staring at me like that Yasmin” he said referring to the expression she has right now on her face, the look he hasn’t been able to ignore for the past days

Yasmin look down at her feet, uncomfortable to have been caught, she was lost for words to say to him but then she want to say something to him

“Can’t you just give in to me then?” she asked raising her head up again

The second the words come out of her lips, Kyler took her cheeks into his palm and kiss her affectionately, he pull out after a long seconds

“I shouldn’t be like this” he said more to himself

“But I can’t keep you or your body off my mind, I want to have fun with you” he told her whispering to her face

Kyler pull in to kiss her again but she evade his kiss and look away from his gaze

“You are not going to abandon me after this, are you?” she asked afraid this might be another mistake

“Promise me you won’t let me regret this”

Kyler grab her at her waist and pull her closely, his other hand grab her neck gently his eyes went from her lips to her eyes

“I promise”

“I can’t abandon you now, I’m already in love with you” he whisper to himself and pull her head in for the kiss

Yasmin try to hold unto to him and successfully grab his neck into her arms, her head tilt so she could breathe through and not stop the kiss anytime sooner

She part her lips a bit to grant him more entrance and he took her in completely with the hand on her waist stroking her a little too fast

“I want you now” he whispers in-between their kiss

Yasmin immediately reach for the lock and open the door, they got inside and quickly jump on each other, continuing from where they stopped.
