Amelia didn’t know how she got to the door in front of Eastern land but she just stood in front of the gate.

Her legs were all swollen as she sat on the concrete ground, her head was pounding.

She had managed to reach the bus station and hailed a taxi from there, due to how reserved Eastern Land was, the taxi needed to have a pass to go onto the main road of Eastern Land.

So she got down there and had to trek from the entrance and pass by different streets to Alexander’s house.

“All the guests have already left and it’s so quiet in there,” George said and Alexander was immediately startled as his eyes constricted.

“Check for Knight’s location” Alexander instructed and hung up.

He saw the doctor walk out of the emergency ward Ash was in and he approached him.

“how’s she doing??” Alexander asked as he looked at his phone, obviously distracted.

“Well, she’s stable now, her illness just flared up because she was overstressed, she needs more rest and needs to avoid anything that might stress her both physically and psychologically.” The doctor said with both hands in his coat’s pocket.

“Did you tell her all these??” Alexander asked as he scrolled his contact list and dialed Amelia’s number.

The doctor frowned a bit “You know her condition is special, these kinds of things might prone her into thinking and another problem might occur” The doctor said.

“You haven’t answered my question though!” Alexander said as he redialed Amelia’s contact info after the first trial didn’t connect.

“I didn’t tell her,” the doctor said slowly and Alexander looked at him for a while.

“Then You should,” Alexander said and was about to walk out when the doctor said:

With that said, Alexander walked away from the hospital door, leaving the doctor whose mouth was agape.

Alexander removed the phone from his ear and soon it vibrated and he immediately answered the call.

“What’s the update??” Alexander immediately asked as he placed the phone close to his ears.

“Knight is in his den, he went to a gambling den and he seems so leisure and neutral,” George said from the other end.

“Okay thank you” Alexander hung up and thought, since Knight didn’t kidnap Amelia, the only possibility left is that….

She was purposely avoiding him!

Alexander immediately felt a gush of guilt wash over him, he was so ashamed and angry at himself.

Alexander took out his phone and called home and Mrs. Gale answered “Hello sir”

As if a time bomb dropped on his head he took two steps backwards.

Alexander ended the call and dialed Amelia’s number again as sweat formed on his forehead, she wasn’t with Knight nor was she at home.

Just then, the call was answered and Alexander immediately asked;

“Amy where are you?? Are you okay?? Look, I’m sorry I left without informing you, there was an emergency I had to take care of, I’m truly sorry, please tell me your location and I can come pick you up” Alexander said with a hoarse voice as held the phone tightly and kept muttering “Sorry!”

But the other side remained silent and Alexander was both nervous and feeling suspicious.

Amelia was sitting in front of the mansion when A car suddenly drove close to her and it revealed the knight’s face.

She was already too weak to fight against his men and they dragged her into their car and drove off.

She was sitting tight in her seat when her phone rang and it was Alexander calling but Knight took the phone to answer it instead.

She felt anger when she heard what Alexander said, An emergency occurred?? Ash was an emergency for him!
