402. Tyson - Malaky VII
The front door opens. Rueben and Ansel enter with several grocery bags.
My plan will probably take a few days to fulfill. Until then, we will have to stay at the cabin. Alekos barely has any provisions here, so Rueben and Ansel offered to buy food and some other essentials. Dimitri had to leave early in the morning since he had obligations with his blood brothers, which left Jasper and me alone with Malaky. After we moved him into the bedroom, Jasper and I fooled around a bit on the sofa. For a while, Jasper's mouth made me forget about everything. Until the message from Senator Ross.
Since Malaky still has the sock in his mouth, he can't talk, so I don't expect him to reply. Besides, I don't want to hear his voice. It only reminds me of the things he told Olivia when he was hurting her.
Once we are done here, we'll have the Piercing Ceremony with Olivia. I can't wait for her to be my wife and to have my ring on her finger. Well, it's not only my ring. All five of us put an equal amount of cash to buy it. Ansel and Rueben put the grocery bags in the kitchen and I go grab a beer. I remove the mask, since Malaky can't see me in here and enjoy the cool beer.
My phone buzzes with an income message, and I grab it from my pocket.
It's a photo from Olivia of Spencer's having breakfast with Mose. I show it to the others. It makes us more motivated to end Deymar's life so we can enjoy whatever peace we have until the Nephilims get here. After I let Olivia know that we will be back home soon, I grab some granola bars and quickly devour them. I don't usually eat a lot during a mission.
Time passes agonizingly slow, and there's not much we can do while we are here except torment Malaky.
I put on my mask, grab a bottle of water, and go to him. After I take the sock out of his mouth, I ask, "Piggy, are you thirsty?"
Malaky tries to lick his chapped lips. After the first bag of IV ended, we didn't put one more since we stopped torturing him, and the liquids he received were more than enough.
The IV is only for when we want to torture someone for days, but with Malaky, it won't be the case.
"Yes," Malaky replies, his voice hoarse.
I open the bottle and pour some water on his pants. "There you go," I say.
Malaky looks at his wet pants, and he appears to be on the verge of a mental breakdown. Even so, he says, trying to scare me, "Wait 'till my father gets here!"
I grin, maybe because Malaky can't see my expression. "Yeah? And what is he going to do? Magically put your hands back on for you?"
Malaky glares at me. I haven't broken him. Not yet. But once his father and Senator Deymar are out of my way, I will make him beg for me to kill him.
"He'll kill you," Malaky snarls.
I shrug. "I don't plan to die any time soon. My wife won't be too happy with me if I do that. She will bring me back from the dead, only to kill me with her own hands." Malaky continues to glare at me, but he has no idea I'm actually being serious.
There's a knock on the front door.
I shove the sock back into Malaky's mouth. "Don't make any sounds," I warn him before quickly dragging him to the bedroom.
I leave the chair Malaky is tied too in the middle of the floor, leave the bedroom, lock the door, and remove my mask.
While I don't want Malaky to know who we are, it's different with Hannah and her husband. I want them to know why they are going to die.
Rueben opens the door and lets Jon, Khloe, and Hannah enter.
Hannah's eyes met mine. They are similar to those of Olivia. She doesn't seem shocked to see me, letting me believe Jon already warned her about me being here. However, she doesn't look happy to see Rueben, Ansel, and Jasper. Hannah tries to back away, but Rueben already closed and locked the door. Her attention turns to her parents. "You only said Tyson would be here," she hisses.
"Jon thought it only be me here," I lie, while I try to figure out what Jon told Hannah to bring her here.
If he didn't tell me, it's probably because he couldn't send me a message without Hannah seeing it.novelbin
Hannah looks at me like I'm trash. It doesn't bother me. I've known for a long time what she thinks about me.
"I should have expected something like this. After all, those like you are not to be trusted."
"It's not like you haven't said a lie in your life, so let's cut the bullshit," I say.
She looks so offended, it actually amuses me.
"My parents insisted you wanted to talk about Olivia."
I show Hannah and her parents the couch. While Jon and Khloe sit, Hannah prefers to stand. A purse is in her hands, and she clutches it hard. I'm more than sure that she has a gun in there, but she won't have an occasion to use it. Rueben, Ansel, and Jasper are nearby in case things get out of hand-not that I need their help disarming Hannah.
"Well, since I'm already here... what did you want to talk about Olivia?" Hannah asks.
Not wanting to beat the bush around, I jump right into what's more important.
"For a long time, I wondered why you hated her. After all, you gave birth to her. Biologically, Olivia might be your sister, but you are the one who carried her in the womb. I suspect that, at some point, you even loved her." Hannah's gaze goes from me to her parents, then returns to me. "I don't know what you mean."
"About you loving Olivia or her being your biological sister even if legally, you are her mother?" I ask. I don't give her time to answer as I keep talking, "We know the truth, so don't bother denying it because Jon and Khloe are more than willing to do a DNA test."
Hannah's expression turns, making her look like she's constipated and is about to give birth to the biggest shit ever. "Fine." Looking at her parents, she says, "Yes, I knew it. I found out when Olivia was about five."
"Why didn't you say something to us?" Jon demands to know.
"Because Wesley forbade me to say anything about it. Besides, imagine what would our friends and relatives have said," Hannah tries to excuse her lies.
"I don't care about others, I care about Olivia!" Jon raises his voice.
Anger shows on Hannah's face. "All you care about is Olivia! That's why you left, and that's why you returned. Because of Olivia! She killed someone, then ran away to God knows where."
Rueben intervenes. "What happened that night was an accident and you know you better than anyone else. And don't get me started on Olivia ran away since you, your husband, and your son sold her as a pornai." "Olivia was never a pornai. She ran away!" she insists.
"If you want, I can show you videos of her time in the Celestial Heaven. It won't be hard to find out who sold her to Carlos," I say.
Hannah appears confused. Is she an actor now? "Wesley told me something else."
Jon takes Hannah's palms between his hands. "Wesley lied. You know better than anyone else how he truly is. He beat Olivia even for the smallest mistake."
"Wesley only tried to correct her," Hannah keeps denying the truth, as if she doesn't know how Olivia's childhood was. "That doesn't mean he sold her."
"Not only did he do that, but Jason pimped her," I reveal more.
Hannah points at me. "If you don't have any proof, I'll sue you for spreading out false accusations about my son and husband!"
"I'm not spreading anything. The only ones I told are your parents and you." I pull out my phone. "I have plenty of proof. You better take a seat. We'll be here for a while."
Several hours later, Hannah takes out her phone from her purse and dials a number.
"Wesley, there's an emergency at home. Come quickly!"
