Chapter Seventy

"Tell me! Why the hell did you do it? You knew I was standing outside the door that day. You destroyed

my life, you snatched Mushk from me knowing very well what I'll do." Zohan screams at her.

Knowing there was no chance to lie as Zohan figured out everything, she jerks his hand away.

"Don't blame me for what you did to Mushk, it was your own choice. I might hate you, but I never

wanted to destroy Mushk’s life. She came in between and got stuck, nothing else. You disgust me! How

can you do that to the women you love?" She calmly tells him.

Zohan knew what she said was true and he stood there motionlessly. The woman whom he called his

mother whole life, was the one who destroyed him.

"Why?.." His dad painfully whispers, looking towards his wife.

"Why? You ask me why? You never ever loved me, you always loved his mother. Then you went as far

as naming all the property on his name. What about me and my daughter? Ever thought about us?"

She yells at him.

"She is my daughter too! Just wait, once she comes to know about what you did, you'll have no one

left." He angrily roars.

Mr Quadri sadly looks towards his son, whose eyes were full of remorse and tears, he hurt his own love

just because of one small misunderstanding.

"Come on son.!" His dad sadly whispers and takes him out of the house, holding his shoulders.

Zohan's motions were robotic, he lost his only love, forever. The bomb dropped on him literally killed

him. His mother was not his.

He lost his own love because of his own stupidity. She was now married to Irtaza, the best man anyone

could get, and Zohan knew Mushk was a strong willed girl, she will never support wrong, nor a second

chance to a rapist and a wife beater.

The car stops with a screech, breaking him out of his reverie. He looks out of the window, eyes

widening when they stop in Irtaza's driveway.

"Dad... p-please n-noo.. pl..." His plea was cut short when Mr Quadri got out of the car and dragged

him out.

"Dad please I need some time, I can't go like this. I-I don't think I can live without her, I need sometime

to win her back." Zohan’s words stop him and he turns towards his son in anger.
