Chapter Fifteen

Zohan's eyes twinkled in happiness seeing her, who was going to be his in every way, Mushk could feel

his eyes on her, but she didn’t have the guts to meet his eye. Not because of shyness, she just wasn’t

ready.

The magistrate starts with reading Quran and a small discussion on marriage and the time came which

Mushk dreaded the most, the question was asked and her eyes welled up missing her brothers

presence.

Irtaza felt something in his heart making him uneasy. He couldn't handle the scene going on in front of

him. Handing Murtaza to Hana, he leaves the room, ignoring Hana's questioning gaze.

Mustering up some courage, she answers softly.

"I accept”

Saying this, she signed the marriage papers and the upcoming trails too. Zohan's part was also done

and the hall boomed with congratulations.

Unknowingly, Mushk's eyes were wandering her as if trying to find someone, she didn’t knew who she

was trying to find, but she wanted to see his eyes, the look in them always gave her some kind of

assurance.

Zohan continues to gawk at his wife, who wasn’t even paying an ounce of attention to him, which

makes him frown.

He follows her eyes, which end up near the door and just then Irtaza enters, making his frown grow

more. He looks back at his wife, who was now continuously looking at Irtaza.

Clenching his jaw in anger, he looks away and forcefully smiles when someone comes and meets him.

Mushk looks at him, who just came from the balcony, looks at him for good 10 seconds. She averts her

eyes and looks in front of her, where Zohan was standing looking at her.

She gives him a small smile which was returned with a big blown smile. Mushk stifles her giggles,

seeing his idiotic smile. Zohan's previous anger was melted when she gave him a small smile, and the

stifling of her laugh, when he gave her a full smile which cleared all his doubts.

Zohan was glad that at least his wife will be open with him now, because after her brothers accident

,she wasn't speaking to anyone. Zohan too missed his buddy's presence, but Mushk was enough for

him right now.

The dinner was arranged ,and the groom and bride were seated next to each other on the dining table.

After a hearty dinner and a few glances from Zohan.

The dinner was over, and so was the uneasiness from her. Nothing was wrong with his gaze, it was

They all were seated in hall when The Quadri's got up, telling that its too late and they should leave

now.

Mushk was dreading this moment. She didn't wanted to leave.

Not now, not ever, at least not without her brother, but she was forced to do so, because of her

nephews and in this cruel world filled with monsters, they definitely needed a man’s shadow over them.
