Seed of Possession

Chantal is sitting near the window staring at the sky while holding her stomach. Her stomach is getting bigger and bigger each day and her pregnancy is getting delicate. She needs to take care of her body and baby to have a safe pregnancy.

Chantal feels bothered for a week because of what happened that night, When she heard the voice of her daughter, Flora. Searching her near the balcony where she and Lorenzo was had sex. She remembered the anxious and the loud and fast heartbeat that she felt that night. Afraid to be caught by her daughter doing that thing on the balcony. Chantal left a deep sigh as she leaned on her rocking chair and slightly moved it.

Thankfully that night someone caught her daughter and immediately went to another place. She didn’t know who that person was and Flora didn’t want to tell her also who that person was. Just thinking that someone knows and heard their sex in the balcony is giving her a massive headache. She already told Lorenzo what happened. But her husband just laughed and said to her that don’t think about it and act as if nothing happened. She can’t do that, It’s impossible she feels guilty in her heart. A guilt as a mother that she let her 5 years old daughter hear that sex not in the bedroom but in the balcony which is super wrong. And she really wants to meet that person because of what she said to her child as an excuse for the noise that Flora heard.

The excuse that she told to Flora is that Lorenzo and her are fighting and the thing that she heard is just a whispered fight with feelings that Flora shouldn’t do until she reaches 18. That person basically tells Flora that she can have sex at the age of 18. It’s giving Chantal a worry because of what that person said to her daughter and she needs to correct it and think of another reason behind that noise that Lorenzo and her made while having sex on the  balcony. And she needs that person to explain to Flora that she was wrong and it has another meaning.

” Where is that mysterious person?” Chantal murmured as she gently stood up and decided to go out from her room.

She decided to go to his youngest room. She first takes a peek by slowly opening the door and looking inside to know what her son is doing. But she sees him sleeping peacefully, which makes Chantal’s heart feel suddenly warm by the view that she is seeing. She stared at her son’s face for a minute before she decided to close the door and went to her other kids. She is going to Maxine’s room when she suddenly remembers that her eldest child has a piano lesson this afternoon. She just left a deep sigh as a small smile formed into her lips.

” It’s really hard to be pregnant” Chantal muttered as she looked at the big window in the hallway of the mansion. Everytime she is pregnant, Everytime she reaches her 25th week. Lorenzo quickly forbade him to go outside the house as she needs to ensure the safety of the child.

She decided to go to the room of her middle child. Even though, She is still embarrassed to face her daughter after what happened the other night, she can’t escape her daughter forever and she needs to face her to overcome the embarrassment that she is feeling. Soon after she got into her daughter’s room. She first took a deep breath before she knocked on the wooden door and slowly opened it.

” Flora” She calls her daughter’s name while looking around the room.

” Madam” The Nanny called her as the Nanny immediately run towards her.

” Where is Flora?” Chantal immediately asks.

” She is in the restroom, Madam” The Nanny politely answered.

” Okay, I’m going to wait here” Flora said as she walked towards the sofa and sat down as she sat comfortably by putting her feet in the mini chair on the floor.

Chantal just waited for her daughter for minutes, When she heard the door open. She automatically opens her eyes and looks at the direction of Flora.

” Flora, Darling” Chantal sweetly called to her child. As she sat up straight and opened her arms.

Flora happily giggled as she ran towards her mothers arm and hugged her.

” MOMMY!” Flora squealed.

Chantal looks at the Nanny of Flora, As she gives her a hand gesture to leave them. The Nanny politely bowed as she obediently followed her boss’ command.

” How are you darling? How’s your day?” Chantal sweetly asks her daughter.

” I’m fine, But I want to go to the garden with you!” Flora excitedly said as her eyes sparkling while looking at her mother. She really wants to walk in the garden with her mother alone.

Chantal softly laughed at her daughter’s request as she gently patted her head. ” Okay, Let’s do that but you should first tell mommy who is the woman who got you away from the monster that night?”

Chantal calmly said to her daughter. For the past few days,

Chantal tried to find out who the mysterious person who pulled her daughter away that night was. She really needs to know who that person is because she needs to make sure the mouth of that person will be quiet because she can’t let her perfect image be ruined.

” Mommy, I can’t do that. I already promised to that person that I will not tell who is she” Flora said while pouting.

” So, That person is a woman?” Chantal quickly asks her daughter after hearing the word she from her sentence.

” Ahmmmmmm”

” You promised not to tell who she is right?”

” Yes,” Flora said in a worried tone.

” Okay, Then I will just ask some questions and you will answer me honestly. Promise?” Chantal said as she raised her pink finger.

” But I am not allowed to tell who is she”

” You will not tell who is she, I will just ask question about her”

“O-okay”

Chantal just smiled at her daughter as she slightly move her away from her.

” Did she live in this mansion?”

” No”

” Is she a maid?”

” No”

Chantal immediately felt nervous because of what she learned.

” One of the Nannies?”

” No”

” One of the workers in the house?”

” No”

Flora stared at her mother after she answered. She thinks that her mother is really curious to know the person who helped her to get away from the monster in the balcony.

” Is she related to us?”

” Yes”

Chantal unconsciously gulped after hearing what her daughter answered. It’s related to them. It will be hard for her to talk to that person. Specially, If that person is Davina or Juveline.

” Then, Is she old? Older than Mommy?”

” No”

” Is she the same age as Mommy?”

” Maybe”

Chantal raised her chin as she knew who the woman was who heard them that night.

” Is she having a baby?” She whispered.

” Yes” Flora answered, which makes Chantal chuckle as she brushes her hair using her hands out of frustration that she feels after knowing the woman who heard them that night.

” Thank you Darling, that information is enough,” Chantal said to her daughter.

Flora smiled at her mother as she held her hands.

” Can we go now Mommy?” Flora innocently asks Chantal.

” Okay, Darling ” Chantal sweetly answered as she carefully stood up.

” Can I hold your hand?” Chantal sweetly asks her daughter to answer with a big bright smile.

“Let’s Go!”

IT’S A BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY, AND Giselle is in the garden of the mansion. She is having a stroll in the garden to get rid of her boredom inside the mansion. There’s no good shows on the internet, even on free tv. Usually, When she is bored. She is going outside and has a car ride to any destination she wants. But when she entered the contract marriage. All eyes on the mansion are on her as if they wait to know the things that Giselle does to know things that they can use against her. That is the reason why she is having a hard time meeting with Bryan. She always waits for perfect timing to go outside to make sure there’s no one after her.

Giselle stared at the garden of pink roses in front of her. The west part of the garden was filled with different colors of rose. It was planted and grown by the late headmistress of the house. She is the wife of Perol, Anastasia Monteverde. Giselle already saw the other colored roses but her favorite the most is the pink roses near the fountain of the naked child covering her private parts with her bare hands. As if the child was ashamed of being naked and being sexualized by people seeing her. After staring at the bed of pink roses, Giselle looked at the statue of the fountain. Everytime she stared at the fountain. She always remembers her younger self. Forcibly strip in front of people to have a look at her body. She was 6 years old at that time. And there are so many tiny flowers in this part of the garden for the children to create flower crowns or flower bracelets. And there is also a small fish pond in the middle of the east garden.

Giselle just enjoys watching the flower when someone stops in front of her. Giselle looks at the person who stops in front of her, a mischievous smile plastered on her face.

” I didn’t expect to see you here,” Giselle teasingly said.

” Well me either” Chantal seriously answered.

” Strolling with your daughter? Hmmm…. Nice Mother” Giselle said after seeing Flora playing at the flower pen.

” You are the one who pulled her away from us that night?!” Chantal muttered that made Giselle chuckle.

” Why? Wanna say thank you to me?” Giselle teasingly said

” I’m thankful for pulling my child before she saw that thing, But I will be more thankful if you just act like it didn’t happen” Chantal stops and looks at her daughter.

” And tell my daughter that what she heard is a monster not our fight” Chantal said as she lowered her voice for her daughter not to hear their conversation. Giselle just smirks at what Chantal said to her as she put back some strand of her hair behind her ears.

Giselle covered her mouth as she chuckled sarcastically.

” Come on, I’m not the one who has sex on the open balcony and sooner and later your child will learn the truth about what happened that night. So, don’t worry yourself. Especially, That you are pregnant” Giselle said as she showed her mocking smile that made Chantal triggered. But instead of showing it to Giselle, She just kept it to herself and just showed a fake smile to her.

” I understand what is happening right now. We are in the middle of the battle of succession and it was rude of me to ask the wife of the enemy of my husband. I mean, We are in the middle of the battle and we are going to do anything just to win even if it means to use anything as an advantage” Chantal collectedly said.

Giselle just grins at what Chantal said as she quickly glances at Flora who is playing on the ground. It’s clear to Giselle that Chantal misunderstood her action. She just wants to make fun of Chantal but it leads to a total misunderstanding.

” Well, It’s true that we are in the battle of succession but I don’t use sex scandal to my advantage. It was normal for the child to hear or see her parents having sex but not in the balcony, an open area” Giselle teasingly said as she left a sexy chuckle.

” Using that thing as an advantage is obviously useless.” She added as she faced Chantal.

” You can use that to ruin my reputation in high society, And my husband’s name will also be tarnished because of that” Chantal seriously muttered that makes Giselle burst into laughter.

” Really? Do you believe the reputation of your husband will be tarnished because of that? ” Giselle said out of sarcasm.

” The two of you having sex in the balcony will be just a wind in high society because the two of you are husband and wife. It’s a normal thing. All people who have power are having sex in any place they want. Because they have money and power to do that. Your reputation will be shaken a bit but it will be back as usual. And to your husband nothing will happen because he is a man. They will just laugh it off.” Giselle continued.

Chantal secretly bit her lips because of what Giselle said to her. Because she is hearing the truth that she always denies. The truth that his husband will not be affected for all the action that she or they are doing. It’s like showing to her that having her is like having nothing.

” If I’m going to use that information as an advantage, I will use it to ruin your reputation in the family.” Giselle sharply said.

” Our two husbands have a different business, Yours is in the entertainment industry while mine is under technology. They can’t fight in terms of business. They only fight for family influence and reputation. It’s no secret that your husband has a good standing in the family while my stupid husband is in the bottom of socialization. And if I want to bring you and your husband down.” Giselle stops as she puts her right index finger to her lips and smiles.

“I will tell that to the whole family. ” She meaningfully said as she left Chantal stunned on what she said.

It’s true that the thing that she witnessed is a great help to tarnish the reputation of the two in the family but it’s not that easy to use the information. Because having her words is not strong enough to use the information to its full potential because it will look like rumors, a petty rumor that she spread. If she really wants to use it. She will need Flora as a witness too. But the thing is, Giselle never uses a child for her plans and works. A work etiquette that she created since she lived with her mother.
