Lexi tapped furiously on her laptop, placing orders, and answering her emails as fast as she could. She is currently planning the wedding party of senator Bryan’s son.

“Senator Romanov offered to give us a luxurious building in his country, that would be turned into a company if you can help plan his daughter’s wedding next month,” she perched on the seat in front of Lexi’s table and blew out air from her mouth.

“Really?” Lexi’s eyes widened at the news, her hand clasped on the table tightly as she listened to Tessa explain everything to her again.

“I wasn’t expecting that,” she sucked in a quick breath, fanning herself with her hands.

“Even I, I thought he was just going to book a date with us and leave the rest to our capability, I wasn’t expecting him to offer to build us another company,” a wide smile brightened Tessa’s feature even more.

“Tell him we would be honoured to help plan his daughter’s wedding next month, and-” the sound of commotion draw her attention from the matter at hand, she tilted her head to the side and pursed her lips. She looked at Tessa who negatively shook her head to show she was also confused about what is going on.

She stood up from her seat and walked out of her office with Tessa on her heels, she got to the entrance and found the security guards holding back a tall beautiful blonde hair lady.

“What is going on here?” Her brows creased in a frown as she stared at the lady who keeps struggling with the guards.

“This lady here refuses to state who she came to see and when we asked her to leave politely, she tried to get in with force,” one guard answered her.

Lexi looked at the lady properly and put on her best smile.

“Hi, my name is Lexi, I am sorry for the way my guards acted towards you. Can I know who you want to see please?” Trying to be as polite as she can be, Lexi stepped forward and continue smiling at the woman.

What happened next was unexpected, and for once in her life, Lexi was glad she took that defence class back in school. The strange lady lurched forward, intending to grab Lexi’s hair but she stepped back and quickly dodged her attempt.

The guards apprehended her immediately, caging her hands behind her to stop her from doing anything stupid as attacking anyone else.

“Do I know you from anywhere? School? Party?” Lexi couldn’t stop her frown from getting deeper, as confusion becomes the order of the day.

“You are the bitch that has the gut to steal my man from me, right? You are the slut he’s been sleeping with all this while?”

“What the hell is this crazy woman spewing?” Lexi turned to Tessa who shook her head in a way that says, ‘No idea’.

“What are you talking about?” She stepped closer to the woman, her expression hardening at the insult.

“Don’t tell me Aziz didn’t tell you about me? Don’t tell me he didn’t tell you he already fathered a child with someone else before he start screwing you?” The woman yelled the words at Lexi and she reared back as if she had just been slapped.

“W-what the hell are you talking about?” She was too dumbfounded to even form the words properly.

Aziz couldn’t have lied to her, right? When she asked him, he told her apart from his secretary whom he had screwed numerous times in his office, he had no one else. He swore he had sent his secretary away when she confessed her undying love to him and Lexi had promised herself she would not fall in love with him.

He wouldn’t cheat on her, would he? Aziz promised her, he told her that in the course of them being lovers, they are not allowed to be with someone else. He would not break his own rules.

Her head was reeling with so many thoughts that she feared her head would explode if she didn’t stop thinking too much.

“I bet he didn’t tell you all that, huh? He must enjoy screwing that hole of yours that he didn’t deem it fit to tell you, you are just someone he uses to make his boring stay in this place lively,” the woman’s sneering voice pulls her out of her thoughts.

“Don’t listen to her ma’am,” Tessa called. “She might be one of those desperate bitches who wants Mr Aziz for themselves and would do anything to achieve that. Even if it means hurting someone else.”

*She is right,* her subconscious whispered. *There are a lot of people who eyed Aziz in this country, wasn’t Cora ready to tear down even just to have him to herself until she had to experience that embarrassing scene they played in front of her.*

With that in her mind, Lexi turned to the guards with a stony expression. She had tried being nice to the rude woman, but it seems that was a wrong move on her part, so she would be damn harsh now.

“I want you to throw her as far away as you can get, make sure she isn’t within fifty meters of this company ground,” she snapped and her guards bowed.

She fucking smirks. The fucking woman smirked at her, her brows arched as high as they could go.

“If you think you’ve gotten rid of me, then you are mistaken. I am here to get my man away from your bitchy claws, and I will, even if it is the last thing I do.”

Right in front of her, the woman stepped away from the guards, got into her Maserati, and drove away. The threat in her words hangs in the air around them, even after she is gone.
