Seduced by My Childhood Sweetheart’s Brother

Chapter 638

"With the amount of alcohol you consumed, any other people would've died from alcohol poisoning. But you're different. You'd die from over-consumption instead." Colin's thick, sultry voice sounded.

I turned around and saw that Colin was staring at me, his elbow propping his head. His eyes were dazed, and his lips were inviting. "Bravo, Lulu the Heroine, you outdrank everyone. How come I wasn't aware that you had such a superpower?"

He pulled me closer and brushed his finger against my nose affectionately. I scratched my ears in embarrassment. "Hehe, I was born with this talent. It's nothing impressive."

"But seriously, do you feel sick?" Colin rubbed my belly and rested his head on my shoulder like an oversized golden retriever. His breath was laced with alcohol. "Tell me, babe. What other superpowers do you have?"

"That's all I have. This is my only secret. You know about everything else about me. Mom told me a girl shouldn't drink, so she asked me not to drink and not to tell everyone about my talent. I only used this superpower tonight because you needed my help."

"Have I told you this, babe?"

"Tell me what?"

"I love you, babe. I'll marry you and no one else."

Seriously? Did he just confess to me in front of everyone? Blushing, I lost control of my heartbeat. He was trying to seduce me again. And I had to admit that the romantic words from a tipsy Colin were irresistible. It might not be the proper confession that I wanted, but I loved it. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

"Do you love me, babe?" Colin nibbled on my earlobe, teasing me. "Tell me you love me. I want to hear it."

I looked at the guests who had passed out and thought that it wasn't right to say those cheesy lines in front of everyone. Someone among them might have the same gift as mine and was enjoying eavesdropping the conversation.

"There are people here. I'll tell you when we're home." I tried to shove his head away, but I failed miserably. Even when drunk, Colin was as strong as ever.

"No, I want to hear it now. Tell me you love me, babe." Colin pouted childishly. His hair tickled my neck like a puppy would do.

Urgh, the drunk Colin could be so cute and convincing. That night, with 11 other passed-out guests as our audience, I conveyed my love to him for half an hour. I then hailed a taxi to send everyone home. It was already 1:00 am when the half-awake Colin and I came home.

Colin was tall and muscular, thanks to his workout routine. My dainty frame had to muster all its strength to barely stop him from kissing the floor. It was an exhausting chore.

Andrew, who was sleeping on the couch, heard us and woke up. With tousled hair, he rushed to my side and helped me steady Colin. "You guys are drunk. Should I make you guys something warm?"

Queenie was awakened too. I hardly came back this late, so she might have been staying up waiting for me. When she heard me, she came out of her bedroom and carried my bag for me. She put me down on the couch and went to the kitchen to make me some chicken soup.
