Chapter 591
Chapter 591: Outcome “Grey!” Avery yelled again, in despair and pain.
The phone dropped from her hand but she barely noticed.
She couldn't believe what she had seen.
She was actually thinking of surprising Grey by coming to the airport.
But since Grey didn't want to see her, she was going to leave. Just seeing him from afar was enough for her.
Avery raced closer. Her heart was pounding madly in her chest. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
“Grey!” She yelled again and felt the tears slide down her cheeks.
Then she saw some images flash across her eyes. She saw herself standing
beside a car with Grey.
A serious headache hit in and he held onto her head a bit to stop the pain.
But it worsened.
Avery couldn't move as several images flashed across her eyes. The pain in her head got worse.
She yelled, much in sadness than in pain. Grey was slipping off her hands and instead of helping, she could not.
But it felt like she was starting to remember everything. She was starting to remember everything about Grey.
“You ruined my life!” Avery saw herself yelling.
And then, she was going down.
She opened her eyes and saw as the crowds rushed towards Grey and Charles.
A sharp pain coursed through her again. She closed her eyes and held tightly onto her head.
When she opened her eyes again, she could no longer see Grey but a lot of concerned passersby.
And she fell into the darkness.
Giovanni couldn't stop pacing. He was impatiently waiting for the result of the world he had given to his men.
The work should have been easier because Grey wasn’t entering a private jet and he was seriously not coming with his men.
Besides, Grey must have thought that he was going to pull back, especially with Alex's case going on and well, his recent company that just went down.
Grey wouldn't have expected the attack. But then, he had a knack for preparing well even for the unexpected.
Grey had really amazed him over the years.
But this was the last chance he had.
He took the remote and switched the TV on. It should be on the news if it truly happened.
He flipped through the channel and eventually gave up. There was nothing on the news. Does that mean they failed?
The door opened suddenly and Giovanni turned around to look at the intruder.
A man walked inside and bowed slightly.
“Any news?” The man looked up and smiled. “He was shot by the new men. It was a success!” Giovanni's eyes widened. “Really?” The man nodded once. “It should be on the news anytime from now.” Giovanni turned away and grabbed the remote again. He started flipping through the channel again. He stopped suddenly when a new headline resurfaced.
Grey was being wheeled to the ambulance, with an oxygen mask on his face.
Blood was all over Charles’ clothes.
Giovanni nodded once. “Find out! Find out if he survived.” The man bowed slightly and rushed out.
Giovanni was happy with the outcome.
At least, it was certain this time that he was shot. It was just great knowing that.
